Was really easy and quick

Second insurance ive bought from here. App is easy, costs are good. Very happy.

The web site for esure is so difficult to get onto, you have to recieve a link to get into your home page, this never seems to get sent to your email and you end up having to go on chat to get in which also is a pain.

I have just sold my van and the previous Insurance company would not transfer my policy across to my new car. Leaving me no option but to search for insurance else where. Esure were the logical choice as had my old car insured through them three years ago. Not only did they offer me a good quote but a good policy to cover my needs.

The website is very easy to use and very straightforward.

I would not make the mistake of using this company for your insurance. They have been a nightmare to deal with.
They tell one thing and then go back on their word.
Their South African call centre staff do not give me any impression that they care about their customers.

All was well until I unfortunately had to make a claim. I did a web chat and the service I received was poor and the agent wasn’t friendly nor helpful. I opened a second web chat afterwards and the second agent was abysmal. Extremely rude, argumentative and downright awful. A complaint was opened at my request but subsequently closed immediately (I did receive a £50 credit for my complaint) but never an apology and I do believe this should have been looked into for service quality. I would not recommend esure due to this service level.

I’ve had the misfortune to need to deal with the claims team, and have suffered nothing but problems for the last 4 weeks.
Poor communication. Only contact you when they need something. Don’t respond to customer requests for help. Unclear on expectations. No accountability (all emails are from “the claims team”). No process to escalate complaints (I’ve asked three times for their written complaints procedure and still had nothing on this).
After confirming, on a recorded call and in writing, that my claim would be settled “within 3-5 days” the funds failed to arrive after 5 days. When I queried this, I was told a document they had previously confirmed receipt of was missing, before the operator backtracked when challenged, and then told me they’d had a “system problem”.
Still waiting for funds to arrive, as they can’t make a payment for 72 hours. In 2026. Nobody cares. Without doubt, the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

In comparison to other insurance companies it was a lot easier to navigate around your website and make a purchase.

Other insurance companies were confusing, even though they were cheaper, and was unsure what I was buying

Absolutely shambolic, had an accident over 4 weeks ago now, still awaiting feedback with reference to the mechanics review. Terrible i would not recommend this company to anyone.
