Enom IS NOT THE ANSWER - Ever.
If you are a current customer GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN! And if you are looking for the best hosting options... Anyone but Enom. This past weekend's "planned server migration" was obviously a disaster. Misleading and vague communication. DNS services completely down with no reasonable explanation or ETA to recovery. Lies on timelines over and over. No communication to customers on "planned" outage of this magnitude. No phone communication or even web chat with support. They shut it down. The most unprofessional tech company experience ever. Our sites were basically "down" for over 48 hours until we were finally able to at least access the admin page and move our DNS. Hosting is going next. Will be curious what BS they spew on this in the coming days. Horrible Horrible company. Wonder if they care about the lost revenue and customer service issues my company had to endure because of this? Wonder if they care? STAY AWAY - who knows what their next "migration" will bring??!!
Poorly planned and managed platform…
Poorly planned and managed platform migration! Without any prior communication to their customers, since even at the beginning the service would be blocked for several hours! Their DNS that were not supposed to be affected by the migration went haywire, not resolving recursive queries! Bad information and communication management! To move everything elsewhere and close with these amateurs not at all professional!
I wish I could give 0 stars
I wish I could give 0 stars. I do not know how my domain is hosted by Enom. I got my domain name through Google. I've been without email for over 36 hours. Enom says they are doing a data migration and that email should not be impacted. WRONG!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Is the worst company i ever experienced…
Is the worst company i ever experienced maintenance are 3 times postponed, my domains are fully down more then 24 hours by using there nameservers and dependent on them! Beter use Cloudflare guys!
Worst registrar ever
Worst registrar ever, I paid $900 usd for a platinum reseller plan, then one year later, they just came with an idea of changing their structure and to be a platinum reseller you need to spend $100,000 usd anually, and register or transfer 1000 domains, so the just stole for everybody those $900 usd, besides, to pay for domains you need to have a balance in your account, to refill that balance they will charge you an extra 5% fee, Enom just sucks!
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. Don't buy a domain from them. They are denying my domain transfer and they don't even bother to give me an explanation. A2hosting is blaming eNom and eNom is blaming A2hosting.
blocked and put up for auction
Due to the fact that I did not see the verification, my domain was blocked and put up for auction. No response to questions. The account is just blocked. It is not normal! This is a veiled scam. We kind of notified you - we didn't have time for your problems.
I have been a customer of eNom's since…early 1990's
I have been a customer of eNom's since the early 90's. They now have outsourced to Hover and they SUCK!
Customer service is non-existent and if you are not a tech guru, you are screwed! One star is the minimum I can give, so there you go.
THEY ARE REALLY 'BAD' I HAVE A DOMAIN…
THEY ARE REALLY 'BAD' I HAVE A DOMAIN WITH THEM AND I WROTE 3 DAYS AGO FOR TO ASK IF I CAN PAY WITH PAYPAL BECAUSE OF AN ISSUE WITH MY CREDIT CARD. WITHOUT ANY RESPONSE THEY HAVE SET MY DOMAIN IN REDEMPTION!! GOT TO PAY 250$ FOR TO GET IT BACK. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE THIEVES!!!!
Poor user interface
Poor user interface. Confusing and made me waste a lot of time trying to figure out how to use it and transfer my domain name out to my web hosting site. Several hidden costs too. There are cheaper and better alternatives out there.
Their 24/7 chat function is pretty good though, responded quite fast. However I didn't see the small red bubble at the bottom right corner till a couple days later.
Great support.
Great support.
I Just bought a SSL cert. Got some issue related to my host. Contacted customer care: problem solved in a breeze
Super bad services
Super bad services. Support super slow, lots of hidden policies for domain registration and super rude support assistance in LiveChat.
Avoid them if you don't want bad surprises. They charged me $250 for a domain renewal which has 10 days until the expire date.
Also, they asnwered my tickets in 2 days, in chat all the time they ask you to open a ticket, they don't even bother to open tickets for you.
They simply don't care!
They try to steal your domains
The first time I tried to transfer my domain and they never sent the transfer code. I changed my email in case my email hosts was blocking them as malicious. Then they said I cannot transfer my domain for 1 month after changing information like email address.
1 month later I cannot unlock my domain. I've tried 100 times from the console. The customer service rep said I needed a security question to unlock it. I added one, then they were unable to unlock it.
Horrific experience. Lots of wasted time. Terrible india customer chat support. They hold your assets hostage.
Without a doubt the worst company in…
Without a doubt the worst company in the world. Using this company puts your company and domain at risk. They make wholesale changes to their business model and do not follow written instructions that you have left them on the dashboard. You have been warned. The only thing is that 1 star is way too many for these deceptive people.
Service fee NOT refunded after double-payment made. enom's fault
Been with enom for well over 20 years. I have a few dozen names registered with enom, and have paid thousands to them over the years. Went to refill my account, and, because of their awful interface programming, made the refill twice. The refill was for about $ 200. They refunded one of the two charges, but NOT the 5% service fee. This is petty and unacceptable. My complaints fall on deaf ears. I expect to be transferring many of my registered domains to another registrar shortly, thereby depriving enom of hundreds of dollars in revenue for the few bucks they overcharged me. It's not the amount, it's the principle of the thing.
HORRIBLE!!!!!!
HORRIBLE!!!!!!! How can a company sell our domain/hosting to someone in Ontario and NOT TELL US! We do not have access to our site. We have renewed 2 months before we needed to...How can anyone do business like this?
Run and run fast from this firm
Run and run fast from this firm. I cancelled a domain and they charged me a renewal for privacy protect. I reached out to them twice without a reply. It was a small amount, so they know it's not worth disputing. I would guess that the reason they are doing this is that either the are in financial trouble or they are doing what Wells Fargo did, charge and hope nobody will notice or dispute. Also the service we experienced over the years form this firm has just been downright horrible. In my opinion, anyone who goes with this firm would be making a mistake as I don't feel they can be trusted.
Company that supports criminals.AVOID them at all costs.
This company holds a domain name that impersonates a friend of mine and scams users of their credit cards.Contacted the company 2 months ago and reported this.0 replies and the domain is still up there working.Scammers avoid them.
This company is very crooked
This company is very crooked, They actually tried to steal my domain name before my ownership had expired. Two days before my ownership had expired, I tried to go on my site to renew my ownership. but I was blocked from going to my site. I was redirected to their site, where they told me my ownership had expired and I needed to buy it back from them, which was a lie. It just so happened I had another domain name for the same site, which allowed me to go in and renew. I notified the hosting company for my site of the illegal act. What they tried to do to me is illegal and dishonest,
