No communication, no order
Purchased item that was listed as in stock on their website. Got a confirmation of my order. Waited a week with no communication. Eventually emailed them to chase.
Told that item was out of stock. Cancelled the order and had to cancel my electrician.
Very frustrated. If I knew this was a drop shipping company, I would have shopped somewhere else.
Or even if they'd contacted me about the issue when I originally placed my order, I could have planned around them.
Electrical2Go has a pretty good Trustpilot rating, but when you look at the 1 star reviews, they all tell the same tale.

Thank you for your feedback and we’re sorry for the frustration caused. We fully acknowledge that you should have received an update regarding the delay, and we are currently looking into why this did not happen.
We do advise customers not to book electricians until all items have been received where timings are critical. While we hold a large range of products in stock for next day delivery, some more specialist items are supplied directly from manufacturers, which is standard practice within the electrical wholesale industry. These items are clearly marked on the product page.
That said, we appreciate that better communication from our side would have helped you plan accordingly, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Product arrived promptly, so no complaints at all really.
The only small quibble was that there was no notice of when it was to be delivered and there was nobody at home to receive it. The Delivery company did however contact us on our mob tel to say it had been delivered.

2 orders 2 significant delays
We placed 2 orders with Electrical 2 go, both orders ended up delayed much longer than expected, which meant cancelling works with clients and looking incompetent. They did not stock the items and had to order them from the manufacturer however, there was no mention of possible delays due to this on the website..... it stated delivery would be up to 3-4 days. If we had of known of any possible delays we wouldn't have ordered. Maybe they should highlight this going forward?
