Kelly, in the office, was great with communication with me about the installation of heat pumps and checked up afterwards to check that I was happy with the installation. She wasn’t coughing great with all communications
The team of Ross and Leon who did the install were faultless. Pre warning me about the “bad side” of having an air source heat pump and bulky rads! Yes they are ugly and cumbersome, but the results are amazing. I now have a warm and cosy home! Ross and Leon overcame problems and were efficient in their work and really friendly

From the start Taggas has offered a first class service. The initial appraisal of our suitability for an air source heat pump was far more thorough than other companies we spoke to and we have been guided through the process at each stage. Our installation engineer Rhys was first class working carefully and quickly and ensuring the minimum of disruption. His sign off explanations were excellent. I thoroughly recommend the company.

Your team were amazing, they were in a position of trust with a vulnerable adult and 110% with their work ethic, mannerisms, patience and workmanship having an exceptional team leader! Prior to the job starting we were very concerned as to how it would go, but you stepped up and were brilliant. You have made an elderly lady cry tears of joy, thank you so much!

Had a service carried out and a minor leak repaired they sent a chap called Josh he did a very good job was very knowledgeable about the product and a credit to the company.

Would highly recommend this company, everything was explained to me and I was kept informed throughout the process. It was easy to contact the company and they checked I was happy at all stages. The workmen were friendly, clean and knowledgeable. I’m so pleased to have got rid of my noisy stinky oil boiler, my home is warm with very easy to use controls for the heating and hot water

The initial set up, customer service, and installation of our solar panels was spot on. I can’t fault it. However, we have had no end of issues since installation. Our battery alarm has been continuously going off, more so over the winter months as it is getting drained faster, which is to be expected.

For the last few days our battery stopped charging from the grid completely, leaving it stuck at zero percent. There was no customer service available over the Christmas period, and the alarm has been sounding non-stop for three days. We were initially told to wait another three days before we could contact the installers for help, which felt completely unacceptable given the circumstances. We had been assured there would always be 24-hour support, faults would be detected, and issues would be resolved in a timely manner. And at that point, that had not been the case.

Update:
After leaving this review, both Jake and Callum from the company contacted me directly. Jake was extremely professional, kind, and efficient on the phone and the issue was resolved very quickly once they became aware of the situation. Callum also took the time to explain the process and provide direct contacts moving forward. While the initial experience was very stressful and highlighted a gap in out-of-hours guidance for customers, I do appreciate the way the situation was handled once contact was established and everything is now sorted.

The initial call covered all of our questions and concerns. The guy who cam out to do the install plan worked with us, explaining what would and wouldn’t work.
The fitters came in to what was essentially a building site (we were mid move), still the ensured everything was protected, they were on time and very polite, when they left the place was tidy ( tidier than when they started ), electrician finished up and went through the controls. Following morning the office did their follow up call.
An absolute pleasure to deal with, I would highly recommend them.

We had a heat pump, 16 solar panels and 3 batteries installed. The whole process from start to finish was seamless. Starting with a high quality survey and ensuring the right equipment is being installed. I got three quotations and Taggas was the most competitive from a quality to cost perspective.

The Taggas team did an outstanding job with the installation. Despite it being quite a complicated installation. Josh’s workmanship is a work of Art very diligent and a lot of attention to detail. Nathan’s electrical work is very high quality and neat and tidy always making sure the set up is future proof.

The whole team were always positive and showed a lot of expertise where they hold each other to high standard and work together as a team.

Finally, Tim was very hands on and stepped in when needed to solve issues and discuss possible solutions.
I would highly recommend Taggas to anyone who is looking to invest into a full system.

Having done due diligence and had several quotations for the installation of a heat pump system in our 1970's bungalow in exposed rural Yorkshire we found Taggas one of the best companies we have had the pleasure to deal with in over 50 years of building and renovating our homes.
From the initial assessment visit to the final installation everything was handled very professionally.
Phil was very happy to discuss the technical details in his 52 page comprehensive report and answer any questions we had. Unlike many other companies who just provided a one line quotation and were reluctant to enter into any technical discussion.
Kelly kept us fully informed regarding timing etc of the installation, everything went like clockwork.
Rob and Fraser completed the removal of our combi LPG boiler,installation of the heat pump, tanks and replacing 11 radiators in 2 long days. In parallel Will did the electrical work so by the end of day 2 we were enjoying the benefits of the change. All three guys were friendly, cheerful, efficient and kept us fully informed at every stage of the installation.
Since installation at the end of October 2025 the system is performing in line with Phil's report.

Well where do you start to give a star rating when there are so many elements to the process ?
Overall very good
Taggas were great after the initial enquiry Quickly made an initial appointment to assess the property
Then you pay a £150 refundable deposit for a complex site survey expertly done by Richard
When you make the decision to go ahead Taggas apply for all the grant giving a stress free process
Then a start date is given with a 2-3 day window to carry out the work
This is where it went slightly awry - the electrician didn’t turn up till day 3 when delayed the process for another 2days
The installation it’s brutal The house is in total disarray I wish they had said it could take a week and I would have been more prepared to be without heating and hot water for 4 days
Despite this I must say the lads who carried out the work Josh,Cam, Kyle and Grant were brilliant They tried to be as tidy as they could in the circumstances and were quick to return to sort out a few teething problems. They are a credit to the Taggas company
A follow up survey is carried out by Kelly to make sure the client is completely satisfied
Yes the process of installation is brutal but the results are worth it My home is much more comfortable with this heating system just a steady temperate heat which is ideal for me
People should be aware that if they are going gas free that the energy provider may want to charge you to have the gas meter removed to stop any further standing charges - mine wanted £230 ! So I changed provider and they don't charge to do this so just be aware
I have no hesitation in recommending Taggas/Ecoway to carry out this work It’s worth it in the long run

Taggas have been really great from beginning to end. The survey, booking and office staff were fantastic in the paperwork and finance element. Rob and Fraser - the engineers were clean, accurate and worked around the running of a house! Since install, Tim has been supporting the remote set up and fine tuning of our new heat pump set up. Top class service.

From initial contact requesting quotation it was a brilliant experience. No pushy sales people (unlike some of the other heat pump installers), just plenty of insightful information on what to expect. Kelly, Callum and Tim helped get the initial order finalized and took time to design the heat pump system around my requirements aswell as the house demands. The installation itself was a very pleasant experience, Rob and Fraser were nothing short of amazing and over the week of having them in the house I was almost sad when it was time to say good bye. They were extremely committed and did a great job on my installation, pipe work was a a work of art in the air cupboard and had to work within a tight space.

Ecoway contacted me 2 weeks ago. They kept me on the phone answering a multitude of questions and persuaded me to agree to a solar panel survey for the following weekend.

Towards the end of the week they bombarded me with calls and text messages to try to deceive me into believing that the appointment was for Friday and not Saturday. I couldn't accommodate.

On the Saturday I received a very late call telling me that the surveyor couldn't attend, due to that old chestnut, a last minute family emergency.

They haven't bothered to make contact again to rearrange the survey.

Very professional from survey to design to installation. The installation team were punctual, friendly, hard working and took care with the installation and set-up. Would recommend Taggas/Ecoway to anyone looking for an MCS accredited air source heat pump installation.
