A happy repeat customer
I have rented eConnect's Economy Plan on two separate occasions, and both times were very pleasant experiences. Everything was well-organised and simple, from collecting the devices at Haneda Airport’s post office to returning it via prepaid postage, all was included in the service.
The device itself was straightforward to use, with the added bonus of a power bank, charging cable, and carry case, again all included in the package. The only drawback was that the pocket WiFi tended to overheat and become uncomfortably hot, and so battery life was shorter than expected. By mid to late afternoon I often needed to use the power bank, which I suspect is intentionally included to offset this issue. None the less, still a welcomed addition as it has multiple uses.
If you only need pocket WiFi while on the move eg when there’s no free WiFi and you just use Google Maps with one or two friends and the occasional emails, then their Economy Plan is more than sufficient. For me, the main attraction was its affordability compared with other providers, especially when taking advantage of the early bird discount!

Delivery to our hotel was flawless, Also using the pocket wifi was completely hassle-free and the price is more than reasonable.

Easy to use and return. Very good connection
Very easy to rent, use and return. I had internet connection during all my stay in Japan (including Okinawa) with no problems. When I was traveling back home I just put it in a mail box in Narita airport. And that's it, easy!

They are extremely reliable as a company, their rates are much more reasonable compared to their competitors, and I have never encountered any problems with their devices in the over half a dozen or so times I've rented a WiFi hotspot from them.

Fantastic service. Even managed to get wifi on top of a mountain in the wilds of Hokkaido. Very reasonable price and clear instructions on collection and posting back at the end of the trip. Good battery life and excellent xonnectivity

Cheap and conveniente Pocket Wifi
