We nedded bird protection for solar panels. They had the most competitive price. Team showed up within agreed date and time and did all the work as agreed. Within an hour our panels were protected. After work place was left clean and tidy. Well done.

I was concerned about having people on the roof as there have been stories of tiles being removed and leading to roofs being re built!!! But these guys got on with job

We choose Eco7 for our inverter replacement because they met our three criteria: cost, quality, and service. We were scheduled for an appointment within 5 working days. Lee. Our installer arrived within the allocated timescale. Lee was efficient, knowledgeable and very helpful. Guiding us through the fitting process, the app installation and other aspects of the Solar System beyond the inverter. This was extremely helpful and clarified several misunderstandings from a previous potential supplier had given us. Lee went that extra mile, always a good sign in our view.

Overall, we felt confident with the installation and installer. I would recommend Eco7 and I will certainly be using this company as my first call for a quote, when we upgrade the system.

Booked in for solar panels clean (ours had a lot of lichen that had grown over the last decade!) and was given a very reasonable quote. The guys came and cleaned and they looked great. However I noticed we were getting full generation from one side of the array not the other so after quite a few phone calls to Craig he sent his guys back and they discovered a plug that had blown which caused the rear array to stop working. Anyway, they went back up on the roof and replaced said failed plug and all good now.

Although this took a while to resolve, I am pleased with them putting it right and the attitude of the guys when they came was top class... especially when they'd driven all the way up from Essex to Derbyshire.

Would give no stars if possible. Approached Eco7 for removal and reinstall as we were replacing the roof. Agreed for this to happen and price given as 2 stages -first after removal and second after reinstall with bird protection.
Two chaps turned up (although arrived before agreed time)and I wasn’t at home. It soon became apparent that ‘words’ had been exchanged between the Eco7 staff and the roofer. According to Eco7 engineers only the panels would be removed and the roofer would work around the brackets this apparently was because they were not informed that the roof was slate not tiles. At no point during my conversation with Craig was the subject of slate or tiles brought up given he is supposedly the expert you would think he’d ask. Anyway after an embarrassing argument between the engineer and roofer (in which foul language was used by the engineer) it was agreed that the brackets would be removed as well luckily the weather was dry as the roof had been left in a state and not watertight. Contacting Craig regarding the problem it was agreed that another payment would be added as the engineers would need a third visit this was agreed. A further invoice was sent.
On our instigation the engineer talked us through ground level panels and what it would consist of.
After some deliberation over night we decided against reinstalling the panels and I contacted Craig to explain and cancel the further visits. I also requested a refund (of the difference in the invoice) as I had mistakenly paid the wrong one. His response was ‘Oh leave that to us’. That was in March no refund since I have sent emails but gotten no reply it’s as if he’s ’gone of the face of the earth’. Don’t use Eco7 unprofessional and don’t reply when you try to contact them except if they think it’s a sale!!

Best experience I ever had. Booking was done smoothly, and the lads arrived on time. Both lads were very polite and answered my silly questions without any hesitation. Most importantly, they did not bother me with payment. Once the job was done, they just said job done, and you can pay through bank transfer. They did not make me pay in front of them.

A very big shout out to Lee and James who arrived on time , put us at ease explaining the work plan and completing the job. 2 extremely nice , polite , efficient gentlemen who did an excellent job . Removed the nests under our solar array , installed the specific solar panel galvanised mesh (Enviroguard) , went the extra mile and removed all the debris from the guttering . Thank you so much . We have no hesitation in recommending this company . Five stars is really not enough , they really are exceptional. Many many thanks .

I was trying to get a quote from Eco7 energy since May 2023 - even paid for a survey in January 2024. Despite numerous calls & emails I have no response..please give a quote or refund the survey

Well, I contacted the company by email re solar panel cleaning. Got a reply asking me to get in touch if I wanted to go ahead. Contacted office and spoke to a guy. Told him I wanted to go ahead and replied by email to confirm as requested. 2 week later and two phone calls later, nothing heard.
Probably not in an area covered by the service although it does say nation wide on the web site. After reading all the positive reviews I was very hopeful, but seems like it’s not to be with this firm.
UPDATE.
SINCE WRITING THIS I HAVE NOW RECEIVED A DATE FOR THE CLEANING SERVICE.

The Eco7 guys turned up on on the agreed date. They did what I consider an excellent job, the panels look as good as when they were new. The birds now, Im afraid have had to find a new place to live.
I was kept in formed of any issues, they kept the patio area clean and tidy, and appeared to work safely. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome.
I might contact them in regards to having a home battery system fitted.

We had been thinking about getting an AC coupled battery system fitted to our house for a while. Having decided to take the plunge, we got a number of quotes of the internet including a quote from Eco7. The Eco7 quote was competitive and having had them recently replace an inverter and fit bird protection for our PV system, we decided to go with them. Craig was very helpful in helping us decide the capacity we needed. On the agreed fitting date Joe and Kai arrived on time, and again were very polite and friendly. They fitted the battery system in a detached garage and ran data cables to the solar inverter (in the loft) and the mains box (on the outside of the house). The job they did was very neat and tidy. Very happy with what they did. At the end of the installation, Kai set up the app and got us online and monitoring our system. The following day, I had a technical question and contacted Craig. He got Joe to ring and give me an answer. Although I a not an electrician and no expert with these system, Joe answered my questions in a way that I understood. I really appreciate this. Again a great job by the team

Eco7 did a great job installing bird protection for my solar panels in Wales. Despite coming from Essex in gale force conditions with the old Severn bridge closed, they turned up on time, cleared out the jackdaw's accumulated twigs and stuff, put up the netting and cleaned all panels all in very high winds. Completed efficiently politely and fast. Jackdaw nuisance now gone. Others had quoted scaffolding at a much higher cost. I was unsure if it could be done but Craig was always at the end of the phone and reassured me. Very good communications - and he is the boss. I could not recommend more highly. Thanks Team!

2 years ago, April 2022, I called Craig about my Sunny Boy inverter was dead. Quoted me £799 to replace with a similar inverter called SolaX X1-3.0. This proved to me the worst inverter on the market. Yes its sending generation to the Fit system but is it correct???? I accessed the total data history on Sunny Boy for 11 years anytime I wanted, Solax just shows you what's being produced, if correct???, and no records or other data kept. After complaining for about 6 months or more to eco7 constantly that I couldn't connect my smartphone to the inverter, Eco7 even said they had sent someone again to show me, no appointment had been made with me and the date they said they had, I was in all day!!! I eventually managed to get in touch with Solax in China who were helpful enough to show me how to connect my smartphone to the inverter with a new dongle with an aerial they sent me, as the one, I had paid extra for, supplied by eco 7 was absolutely useless even though eco7 insisted it was!!! Solax even admitted that their Solax was inferior to Sunny Boy in respect of data information.... it doesn't even monitor the date!!! Or what is being used or sent to the grid!!!
AND THE 2 GUYS IN THEIR NEWISH LAND ROVER ALSO TOOK MY SUNNY BOY INVERTER WITHIUT TELLING ME!!! PROBABLY TO REFURBISH AND SELL TO SOMEONE ELSE...
IN CONCLUSION STAY AWAY FROM ECO7, WHO I NOW REGARD AS ABSOLUTELY THE PROVERBIAL 🤠 COWBOYS 🤠 ..... I REGRET EVER GETTING IN TOUCH WITH THEM 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

We had our solar panels cleaned by them. Not all the panels were cleaned well. I contacted Eco 7 with photos and at first they seemed willing to look into it. I also contacted them as I'd mistakenly told them there were 11 panels, but when looking again, there were only 10. As they charge per panel so couldn't have cleaned one that didn't exist, I asked them to check the number of panels on the photos their cleaners took, asked them to let me know if they agreed with me or not and if they did to amend the invoice accordingly. Since sending the email on March 8th and another one three weeks later to ask if they'd received it, I have had no response whatsoever, being totally ignored by them. Even a reply disagreeing with me would have been more courteous than being ignored.

The team of three arrived promptly at 8:25 to fit anti-bird netting and clean the solar panels. Old bird nests cleaned out from under the panels, netting cut and fitted to both groups of panels and the panels cleaned.
They finished inside an hour, everything clean and tidy, brilliant job and a group of pi***d off pigeons who have now left, no more gutters full of pigeon poo, result. Thanks Eco7Energy.

I rarely do these reviews but I have to say Evo7 get my unqualified 5* rating. They installed my bird cage panel netting and solar panel cleaning on the date agreed for the very competitive price agreed online. My criterion for giving a company the highest trust pilot rating must include a company’s response to criticism. Mine was that after an excellent bird cage installation ( I have to say in an unrelenting gale) I could still see some lichen/moss on the edges of some panels. I commented to Evo7’s Craig who without hesitation agreed to either refund the cleaning cost, or to re clean the panels. Today a re clean was carried out by Lee and James for no extra cost and they did not leave until I was happy. ….I am . Please support this small company with hard working teams. I will be using them again for any solar panel related work.

Had a 12+years SMA inverter which was starting to fail. Looked online and found Eco7. Very impressed with the quick follow up to my enquiry about replacing Inverter. Graig was very helpful and not pushy, fitting in a date to suit me. On the day of fitting had Lee and Tony, arrived on time, polite, very informative and a credit to the company. I don’t usually do reviews but was so nice to deal with a company that’s friendly, don’t feel rushed and definitely recommend. Thanks for a great job all round 👍🏻.
