The order started off on a bad note as there was initially no product (textbook) available. Once the product was made available, the shipment progressed nicely to the point of delivery. I have the pro... See more

Seems sketchy but its legit
Tracking did not work but the book arrived
Quick and easy ordering process.
No Customer Service, Shipped cancelled order and charged me
Cancelled the order the next day via their online service and was told by the bot that it would be cancelled and my money would be refunded. The booked shipped anyways and now i'm charged 21 dollars and have to reship the book back. Unethical.
Buyback theft
They lost one of our buyback books and said we never submitted it. In other transactions they questioned the book authenticity and made us wait months for payment. They issued a buyback check that included payment for four separate orders and charged us $8 for a single check. $2.00 for each transaction even though a single check was issued. Asked for direct deposit but they couldn't get that right either. Horrible customer service. This company only cares about their own profits. Sellers be forewarned, if you want an honest creditable business to sell your books to pass this one bye.
In addition to losing the item value
In addition to losing the item value, I incurred transportation costs and time loss to complete the buyback, based on the company’s confirmation. Afterward, they reversed the decision and demanded an unreasonable return shipping fee.” Potential Fraudulent bookstore. I sold them a book, and they claimed the ISBN wasn't the same, even though it was identical. They're ruining their own reputation for an insignificant amount of money. They are completely incompetent.

Books arrived on time and were in great condition. I love renting I hate spending money on books only needed for one semester lol

Placed a last minute order for a book that cost 29.97 and added rush shipping. A few hours later it was cancelled due to "Our internal system recognized irregularities in your payment information and automatically cancelled your order". So I contacted customer service, but no reply. I ordered again with a different credit card. Again, several hours later my order was cancelled for the same reasons. Went back to order again the next day (was going to try Paypal instead of credit card) and saw that the price had gone up to 159.67! Would not recommend this company!
⚠️ Warning
⚠️ Warning – Do NOT do business with this company
I usually do not leave reviews, but this situation is different, and I feel the need to speak up to warn students, who are already dealing with significant financial pressure.
I had a very frustrating and unfair experience with eCampus regarding a returned rental book.
I returned my rental book before the due date, yet eCampus continued sending text messages stating they had not received it and warning me that I would be charged. I had to contact them directly to inform them that the book had already been shipped and to ask them to please look for it, as it was very likely already in their possession.
More than two weeks later, I finally received an email stating that they had “found” the book. However, despite this, they still proceeded to charge me, now claiming that the book was damaged. This claim is completely false.
The pictures they provided as “evidence” clearly show a different book than the one I returned. The damage shown does not match my book at all, yet they attempted to hold me responsible anyway.
After researching reviews from other customers, I realized this is a common pattern. Many people report returning books on time and in good condition, only to be charged later for alleged damage. This appears to be a recurring practice used to charge customers unfairly.
I strongly recommend avoiding this company or documenting everything thoroughly if you choose to rent from them.
I am still dealing with this issue and will gladly update this review once there is a final resolution.
everything was delivered on time
Books came quickly and in good condition
I was charged for a book I returned
I was charged for a book I returned, and was met with radio silence from customer service. They sent me an older version of a book that I ordered and then when I returned it, they claimed that I returned the wrong book and charged me for "purchasing" the book. None of their customer service options actually connect you to a real person. If you are looking to rent books from a reputable business with outstanding customer service... go to Chegg or something, it ain't here.

Book was large loose pages not a hardcover or paperback.
This Company is fraudulent
The book was sent back in October because the class was dropped. I got a confirmation that said I wouldn't be refunded because it was too late and the book was unwrapped. The book was barely touched. Now in December they emailed me that it was due! I had to email them back to tell them it was sent back. Then they emailed me saying I owed money because it was Damaged! The book was in their care from October to December. The book was barely used. Whatever damages happened were in their care.
Beware that they don't teyo to scam you put of money!
