I would give zero stars if I could.
The car rental from Bergamo Milan was good. On return to the UK I received a registered letter claiming damage to the vehicle. Damage I strongly dispute was caused by me.
Nevertheless they took nearly £1000 from my credit card anyway.
EasyCar use AXA insurance who will not pay out without a final repair invoice. The sub contracted rental company have not provided one in 2 months despite numerous emails (no phone number). Probably because there isn’t one. Proof of credit card billing was provided but does not suffice.
Do not use EasyCar or Maggiore at Bergamo, trying to get help and support from EasyCar or AXA is impossible . Like they say, it’s all ok until it goes wrong.
My advice is take a thorough video of your hire vehicle both before and after rental.

We booked a car through EasyCar, choosing an option that included meet and greet as I hate having to find the hire car company’s location. Arrived at Palma airport and no one was there to meet and greet - after many phone calls it turns out the car hire company don’t offer meet and greet service. Otherwise they were helpful but not the service we expected

Hi all you potential easycar hirerers. I rented a car via easyjet Drivalia carhire. I paid the required insurance plus extra insurance against basically everything.. whrn I get to Drivalia mallorca palma airport, a long queue infront seemed to be suffering from extra insurance charges... When it was my turn I showed the lady I had paid premium insurance, ok she said ,then I had no option but to pay an extra €257 euro extra, either that or no car, a lovely surprise, after that I spent around two hours on the phone to easyjet. A load of bo locks. Obviously they know of this, judging by reviews I wish I read before hiring . I informed barclaycard, all for a waste of time. Easycar, a another waste of time , a perfectly legit scam .. Dont fall for cheap car hire, no such thing...FUTURE DRIVALIA CAR HIRERS BE AWARE ,YOUR GOING TO GET STUFFED

The vehicle was in very good condition, almost new, and offered great value for money. The staff were very friendly, and there was no waiting time.

Easycar had what I wanted at a very competitive price, the website was easy to use, the proof of the pudding will be complete at the end of the hire period ...

Had to clean both mirrors and passenger and driver windows as the glass had water stains I almost crashed due to poor visibility. Good job didn't need the car to attend a wedding but only to travel around towns.

We hired 3 cars through EasyCar for a trip from Austria to Italy. EasyCar confirmed via webchat that the cross boarder charge would be only 10 euros per car and on this basis EasyCar were the cheapest option so I booked with them. I also trusted the 'Easy' brand big mistake. On arrival at Innsbruck Airport we were charged 54.54 euros per car for the cross boarder journey. The hire company would not release the cars unless we paid this and when I called EasyCar support from the hire desk they would not speak to the hire company or assist me. The rest of the trip went without incident and we were happy with the cars. Since our return EasyCar have refused to refund the excess cross boarder charge. I have now referred this to the UK International Consumer Centre. So be warned you cannot believe what EasyCar tell you, there website still says the charge is 10 euros.

Took 3 attempts to book car.
Hopefully I will get first two pending payments credited back to my account.
Have used EasyCar a few times in the past and have never had such problems.

Slightly convoluted process, lots of small print. However worst bit was upon receiving email where you can download your voucher the link didn't work. Then tried other web link, that didn't work either. Used chatbot on main site which told me how to access another way (which was surprisingly easy/good).
Will wait to see what hire experience is like, but based on website, would avoid.

On the second day we had a flat tyre. One phone call to the service desk, the car was picked up and a new car delivered - all within an hour. Fantastic service.

EasyJet changed our flight time and whenever I went to amend my booking to change time of pick up the website crashed. I was eventually told that I couldn’t amend it as I’d paid with Apple Pay. This was after the full refund window had closed by the time I got in touch with them on WhatsApp. Eventually a 40inute phone call sorted it but was a totally frustrating and lot made clear that I couldn’t amend booking but just try again later. Not sure if I would use them again due to easyJet an easy car not in contact with each other when flights get cancelled and rearranged

booked a car from a company called U Save at Liverpool Airport. Partly my mistake as had booked for an employee to drive the car. When he went to collect, they asked for a £2000 deposit. He didn't have a card to cover it. When i offered to pay, they said i would have to be covered on the insurance at an extra cost of £963
The office isn't at the Airport and it all felt a bit wrong. I asked to cancel the booking and left. They have now taken £860.00 on my credit card and im struggling to get anyone to help.

Terrible customer service and zero accountability.
I was wrongly charged a 40 EUR out-of-hours fee by Goldcar for booking ES913141130, even though EasyCar clearly listed the desk as open until 22:30 and allowed me to book a 21:30 pickup.
I contacted EasyCar on 19 January with full evidence, and after more than three months, all they’ve done is send the same copy‑paste response saying they are “waiting for information from Goldcar.” No action, no updates, no resolution.
This charge only happened because EasyCar provided incorrect information, yet they refuse to take responsibility. Completely unacceptable. I won’t be using EasyCar again and strongly advise others to avoid them.

Friendly and efficient staff. Car had all scratches etc declared. Easy system to pick up car. Parked a short walk from terminal building. Drop off easy too.
