Check-in was fine and efficient until I learned you have an add on fee for driving out of the state in which you rented the car
The agent assured me the extra $110 was in the fine print - and I’m sure it is- bad on me for not reading that.
However I have a huge issue with any fee that is not fully disclosed at the marketplace level when you are shopping for a car. So unfortunately- I can’t imagine what other fees you have that are not fully disclosed upfront- I can’t use your company again
poor service - do not rent from them
poor service. Delayed pick-up time took over 45 min. to be picked up. Then required proof of insurance, which has never been requested at other rentals. Also charged too much for the local version of easy pass. Then they knew we were there and were renting. once everything was finally in place then they said it would only be a minute while they washed the car. The car should have been ready. this was not a pleasant experience . Will NOT rent through you again.
Disappointing experience regarding their insurance practices
I recently rented from Easirent in Charlotte and had a very disappointing experience regarding their insurance practices.
Despite bringing my full insurance declarations page (which showed comprehensive, collision, and liability coverage with a standard $500 deductible), the agent refused to accept it. They claimed that buying their internal insurance was a "North Carolina state law requirement."
This is factually incorrect. Per NC General Statute § 58-33-17, rental car insurance is optional, and companies are legally required to disclose that their policies may duplicate a renter’s existing coverage.
I have rented from major brands like Dollar in Charlotte before without this "requirement." Being forced to pay for redundant coverage under the guise of state law is a deceptive trade practice. If you rent here, bring a printed copy of your declarations page AND a copy of the NC statute, though even then, be prepared for a high-pressure sales tactic. I will be filing a formal complaint with the NC Department of Insurance.

From the moment we were picked up from the airport, I knew this was a poor decision. Shuttle driver was very unprofessional and not very friendly. When we arrived at the rental center, the place was so unorganized. The man that took care of us didn’t have a clue what he was doing and it took forever. They handed us keys to a car and said push the lock button and wait for the car to chirp and you will know which car it is. The car was awful. Scratches and scrapes all along the bottom of it and not rental friendly. I took photos because nobody inspected it with us and I’m not being blamed for those. When I asked about the return shuttle to the airport, I was told I needed to UBER back as nobody would be available on a Wednesday morning. I also got a phone call asking what the license plate number was because they weren’t even sure which car I was assigned to begin with! (Again, the guy didn’t know what he was doing) Would never recommend this company to anyone!

The vehicle pickup location in Phoenix is 10-12 minutes from the main rental car pickup building. Not a huge issue if they had more than one shuttle running, their direct competition had at least 3 shuttles. Their is a reason the price was extremely reasonable, the quality of vehicle and the overall customer experience was extremely unreasonable. the saying "you get what you pay for" couldn't be more true

Absolutely trash company. Kept my 500$ deposit for 1 day of additional rent. The car was dirty. Didn’t have the tow hitch as advertised. And then the office lied and said they’d call back. Scam Artist, Bait & Switch outfit, The Absolute Worst
1 because that is the lowest. They claim be be low cost which is so far from the truth. They are actually one of the highest cost. They gave me a price of $43 and then charged me $227 for 1 day. Houston location is out of a closet behing the hotel. Staff was rude, slow, and did not care to try to help move the increasingly growing number of people waiting but instead answered phone calls. Was supposed to get a SUV and was given a low grade Nissan. Be aware you will pay 3 or 4x more, get way less, and leave very unhappy.

If I could give a negative 100 I absolutely absolutely would. Never and I mean never use this company. My 110 rental turned into a 336 rental for a 4 day trip. Beware, they will charge and fee you to death. Airport fees (I am a local, I took an uber there). Say oh, everyone has to pay that. They coerce you to pay for their Sunpass package, which for me came to $64. I told them, I have my own sunpass, whelp if you don't use their sunpass you cannot use the sunpass lane with your sunpass or you will be charged an additional ($25) administration fee plus the toll fee. They have you, because you need to use the car immediately, otherwise I would not be there. If I could have told them to shove their car, added fees and nasty nasty counter people I would have, but they know, they've got you and this take every advantage of you they can. My counter person was rude, patronizing and condescending. Oh here is the kicker, I had my sunpass in my backpack, so I WAS CHARGED for each and every toll I went through. I was told to email customer service, no phone number just email (bad sign). Customer service would not refund my 64 dollars, would not credit the tolls I paid from the 64 dollars. Instead they told me to solve this with Sunpass on my own. I asked for their sunpass information to do just this, and nothing. I sent repeated emails, nothing. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had not only renting a car but dealing with any company. I'd rather pay more through a reputable company then think I am getting a deal from this terrible, rude and worst customer service company, then walking out of there with my rental car angry and feeling (which I was right) that I got totally screwed because they can!! Don't walk away from using easirent, RUN RUN - Worst experience. I should go on any review site and say the same exact same thing! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, WORST COMPANY EVER, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

25+ minute wait for the shuttle that took us way far from the airport so we were stuck with them
25 minute wait to begin rental process only to be told they only accept a handful of insurance which is NOT what signs or website states. The insurance was more than the rental. 3 people were returning cars early bc they had bald tires, no oil or other problems. I have never been so frustrated. Terrible experience and had I been able to get anywhere else or not have an event an hour away I was have eaten the rental cost and gone back to the airport. Horrible.

I never been so disappointed in a company first they purposely lie about when I rent the vehicle
Second my rental were tow and till today I believe the front office had something to do with it
Third when I offer to go pick up the vehicle from the impound the guy told me there is a pick up form they would have to authorize for me to go get it they never send that form via email they made sure the vehicle stay impounded to rack up the fees.
Last I paid extra for the toll per day as a flat rate the thieves called Easirent still charge my account for daily tolls!!
I would not recommend anyone to rent from this company of also good luck by having their transportation pick you up on time from the airport to their office!!!
