I’ve had great experience with Dunford very quick and easy to communicate with ,the Surveyer Mark was very helpful on the day of the survey and tried to explain and make it very easy for my understanding everything I asked , I would definitely recommend.

Good experience. Easy to book. Received call in the same day, but was not available to answer so they arrange for a different time, next day. Survey came few days later and was ery complete and detailed with plenty of photos and the nature of the problems flaged and why they needed to be fixed, what they meant for the longevity of the property. Also, got some advise in how to proceed with a survey that highlighted some serious fixes to be urgent.

The whole team was very useful and communicative. The whole process was very quick, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Straightforward company to deal with. The staff are very professional. The level 3 survey was very detailed, with additional notes to explain any technical terms. All this at a reasonable price.

Julia made contact with us before carrying out the survey and gave us a 30 minute detailed initial debrief on the day of the survey. She was local to the property and had a good knowledge of local buildings and materials that was helpful. The report was sent 3 days later and was a very comprehensive and insightful document highlighting issues and grading them by importance. It identified areas we should get specialist investigation.

Used this company for a level 3 survey on a house in Cardiff. Kate was extremely responsive and helpful dealing with coordination despite some issues with the agents. Simon our surveyor went above and beyond, producing an exceptional report and following up with a call to discuss further on points. I literally could not recommend this company highly enough.

I would not recommend any surveyors but I could recommend Dunford Penrose. The reason being from personal experience and those from friends who have used other surveyors (even those big name ones with the highest number of good reviews). None of them has really come back with anything that is quite useful. The result usually point out just what you could see with your own eye. it felt like a waste of money.
But Dunford is different. I have used level 3 report. The report will show you things you could not see with your own eye. They measure dampness and levelness with equipment. They test the water and drainage. They check the roof and loft with such details. The report is very informational. Lots of photos on places you don't normally see quite well during viewing. Very quick response and good customer support. Definitely will use them again in future.

We asked for a Level 3 survey on the home we're looking to purchase. As the building is Victorian and quite old we wanted a full detailed report of any and all things that needed to be noted to help us understand any unforeseen costs,

The communication and speedy of replies from Rosie was excellent, and the depth and detail of the report Beth carried out for us was all incredible. We received the full very detailed (117 page!) report along with a call from Beth after the survey was conducted.

The report came in about 6 days after the survey was carried out and helped us answer and ask a few queries/question with our sellers/vendor.

Can't really fault anything that has been done, our only 'even better if' would be a key terms 'glossary' or something similar.

At the end of the report there's a diagram listing all the terminology of the elements that are looked at - soffits, fascias, downpipe etc. All elemnts that are looked at for the report, and it is really useful! But as first time buyers (with limited knowledge on trade skills and terminology) there are things mentioned in the report which can be a bit overwhelming - things like repointing as an example. If some of these were listed in more detail in the report it would possibly take a little weight of the enormity of the report and help digest the information a little easier.

Again this is no complain at all! Just something we thought would've been useful for 2 newbies with limited structural knowledge of houses!

The survey and subsequent report was top class. Communications excellent also. This is a top class service with a not silly expensive price tag. I cannot see how you would get better. Excellent and thoroughly recommended.

Disappointing survey which guesses if something is wrong and there is a blanket response which is only designed to cover themselves. Pay the extra money to get a proper surveyor out that can do proper checks.

Very responsive and thorough report, the agent called on the day to give me a topline and recommendations for next steps. The full report is very clear and detailed, and they provided additional local area research through an interactive platform. Super quick as well, delivered when they said they would - thank you!

Amazing service at a great price. From booking to survey, I found the team very helpful. Katie took me through what each survey covered, helped me choose the best one to suit my needs and booked me in immediately. Paul carried out the survey the following week, calling me immediately after to go through his findings and what he thought I needed to focus on. I got the report a couple of days later.
