Been paying arrow £10 a month for a debt now been taken to court by dryden ,spoke to dryden eventually they say I've got excess money do they live on this planet today or are we paying there gas / electricity bill now want £80 a month very helpful not

Have tried to get in touch as they are taking me to court after taking my account over from capquest.
Impossible to get hold of.
I have enough stress looking after my husband who has vascular dementia and 4 strokes. Hope they are pleased with themselves having just ruined my life, instead of being kind in this day where people have enough problems.shamefull behaviour. Hope they can sleep in their beds at night while I have lay awake in fear for 3 nights with the extra worry.

Charlatans!! Do not make contact with them as this is classed as an admission that you owe the debt. They also sometimes inform you that you have a CCJ entered against you, going as far as to make up a claim number.
Again, do not contact them in any way. This is done to scare you into a discussion and an admission of the debt.
If they do decide to take you to court you will receive court papers and should then deal only with the court.
If their letters were softer they could at least serve a purpose!

Disgraceful organisation and prepared to lie to HM courts. Just paid £275 to set aside a CCJ that’s has not one element of truth with it. This company is lying to the courts for profit at the expense of honest people. I’m taking my case to the newspaper, I’ve never had a CCJ in my 61 years. These people don’t give a toss about anybody.

I had been paying a company a regular payment every month, never ever missed a payment, I then got a letter out of the blue saying it was going to court and would be given a ccj, its taken me years to get where I am due to bad credit years ago, im fuming, I sent messages and tried to call but can't get through, I'm now trying to find the money to pay this off as they won't take credit card, I need the ccj taken off my file, im waiting on surgery and was going private but I can't get the finance now due to this, disgusting how this company works

I have read the terrible reviews of this company and am not surprised given my own experience of them. I am going to make a formal complaint to the ombudsman about their constant harassment of my disabled pensioner wife. Our problems date back to 1998 when I lost a very good job that I had held for almost 15 years through ill health. I had very bad arthritis and had to have both knees replaced fully I also developed Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (industry related, I have never smoked). I was then 50 years old with a mortgage and all the usual millstones of life, I was convinced that I would get another job soon but whenever it came to a medical I would get no further. I was willing to take anything to pay my mortgage, which was with Northern Rock building society, the same company which made £48,000 of my Dads life savings disappear overnight. I was three and a half years ahead with my mortgage when I lost my job so that gave me a breathing space but things got really bad and our debts piled up, I had several credit cards which I had always used sensibly and they started to send me blank cheques on very low or interest free periods. I know common sense says that I should have binned them but as they say a drowning man will grasp at straws, I tried to keep everything from my wife because I knew how much she worried and her health was not good as she had to retire from her job in local government because of ankylosing spondylitis and I had been the only earner. Trying to keep this to myself did take its toll though and my constant worrying led to my first T.I.A. or mini stroke, I had three in total and was in dire straits. We went to C.A.B. who were brilliant and negotiated with our debtors and set up payments which we paid through a bank account, this went well until the various credit cards started to sell accounts to various people and in the end I didn't know who I was paying or who owned what debt, I have explained to these people my wife is disabled, on a long list of meds and being assessed for dementia and we only have our pension and my wife's P.I.P basically they don't care.

Contacted me as they had brought a debt I was paying off monthly with another company. Threatened me with a CCJ so contacted them to set up an agreement (they are not easy to get hold of!) made an agreement and set up a direct debit and have been paying to find out today they have put a CCJ on my credit file. I’m fuming!!!! Took me so long to get my credit in s good place. Done everting they asked!!! Tried to contact them about it. Can’t get through!!! Can someone contact me to get this removed NOW!!!!

Pack of lying gits just received a letter saying my IVA which I entered into last October due to financial difficulties as a result of covid and loss of business had failed.

I have just checked with my IVA practitioners and everything is in order as per agreements. Will be looking into this further as they have blatently lied to try and extort money from me which if I had paid would have possibly breached the terms of my IVA agreement leaving me in an even worse situation than I am already in.

Disgusting behavior they must have attained their law degrees if they even possess one from the back of a cereal box.

***Added this paragraph today after getting a review response from "Naz", how can Dryden Fairfax has only 1 star reviews and still be in business? Sarcasm at the end in brackets asking if I have a customer number!!! Of course I do!!! Hopefully the Ombudsman will do something about DF soon.

I made an offer to clear my debt and they told me their "client" will not accept the offer. I spoke to their "client" and was told the debt belongs solely Dryden Fairfax. I'm going to complain to the financial Ombudsman because DF have misrepresented the facts. I'm more than happy to pay as the debt is a complete oversight by me, but I don't take kindly to lies by a so called professional organisation.

This company doesn’t even deserve one star. It bought a debt off orange, and have lied constantly after I had to chase them over a charging order put on my home. Very interesting reading peoples reviews, and they have basically told me tough they are taking money which I don’t owe them and took me to chase them over a charging order. Not once have they contacted me over this, or given me in 15 years an invitation to court, they have lied to the ombudsman, and won’t budge. Drysden Fairfax are part of arrow, both these company’s need to hang their heads in shame and action against them for mispractise.

This company are a disgrace to the law of solicitors. They don't listen. Tell you one thing then 2 days later send you letters out they need reporting to the FSA Bunch of sharks

They took me to court for student loan even though I tried to make an arrangement. Now stuck with CCJ. Still saying I owe ridiculous amounts of money - cannot log into their rubbish website to check, they do not answer their phones - leave your number and they will get back to you within 4 days!!!
What kind of business is this? I want to speak to someone, sort this out, they make it so difficult and stressful!

I have had a few letters from these people stating I owe them an amount from Arrow Global. I have asked for proof if what I owe and have been sent a photocopied piece of paper with a signature and a date of 28/09/2005. They have also sent me an income and expenditure form. Will be taking legal advice here, no idea about it!

Received a very suspicious letter from these recently, trying to go through our land registry. We owe a supposed ££££££ amount? To whom?

honestly this company is disgraceful... i tried to increase my payment and they cancelled my direct debit and say it can not be reinstated as it does not work... what are they talking about.... i offer to pay and they refuse and they say it will be a default.... a default i am offering to pay you more per month... they staff are evasive and do not have a clue!!

I will investigate the solicitors in the firm, as after Law at University at Birckbeck,London I am worry they could be a member of lawSociety. Hididing task not completed. Sugestions, pushing towards a payment? Last letter they send apology for waiting so long . I asked for original creditor agreement. Second letter and claiming money ? Before validation??? Solisitor will never done this basic mistake. Plus I get the reason of signature collective,but neighter is transparent or providing a security. Very well, if I claim damages it will be so much easier then obtaining any from one person. Must be the very old school of law ,cos I am the old one,,,

They have just swindled my husband out of £15,000 , avoid at all costs. Its going to cost us a fortune going through other solicitors to prove the money was given to them to pay off an outstanding debt.

Trying to get money back from them that they have continued to receive from the Courts for a debt that was pain in 2020. They say they haven't received anything from the Court yet the Court can and have provided documentation.

Terrible company, they threaten and bully then issue CCJs. They are just robbers and they also add extortionate amount of fees on top so you end up paying even more!!!!
