Quick on everything, answering the phone, picking up, releasing the car, paperwork and drop off. All round great experience, Daniel was so efficient and friendly.

Daniel at Glasgow Airport went above and beyond to help me! At what was a very stressful time for me he was understanding and kind.
Easy pickup, very relaxed checkout, clear instructions and no hassle. Had a bus to pick up and take back to the airport that ran like clockwork. Would use again in Glasgow!

Asked to pay £2500 excess which can take upto 28 days to refund or £160 or £200 pound excess waiver which was non refundable…
How many people have £2500 in their bank account these days..
Of course you’re at their offsite centre with a take it or leave it option.
I left the £2500 deposit as I drive slow and safe, but none of this was in the pre booking, it looks opportunistic…
An American lady flipped her lid in front of me when asked for the same…
You can make your own mind up, as the excess waiver option cost more than the car hire…

Rented a car from Drivalia at Glasgow…
Rented a car from Drivalia at Glasgow airport. The pick up service was very efficient and smooth. I had a tight return schedule to catch a flight at0850 with the office opening at 0800.
The staff member turned up early checked the car in and then drove me to the airport, all before 0800. Such friendly, efficient service is so rare from car rental companies. Thank you so much and I have no hesitation in recommending Drivalia.

Awful experience
Booked a one-way car hire (cost £111) from their Glasgow Airport branch to Manchester Airport. After a 20 minute wait I was provided with a Peugeot 208 that had clear damage down the entirety of one side. My sign of at check out for departure took another 20 minutes due to the amount of damage not recorded by their team. In addition, the car has not been cleaned inside (it was absolutely filthy).
Upon complaining I was told this vehicle was all they would give me, and I could wait if I wanted it cleaned. But it was 15 minutes to closing time and I'd already been there over 40 minutes. The chap serving me seemed totally disinterested. So I reluctantly left feeling like I didn't matter.
I complained to the branch manager post hire through their website and was offered 10% off my next hire. Absolutely pathetic effort from them. Will not need their discount as wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again.

Horrible experience with Drivalia
Our experience with Drivalia at the Glasgow Airport was the worst I've had with any car rental company in my 25 years of renting vehicles.
We selected 12pm arrival for (2) 9 passenger vans. After a delayed flight, long customs line, and filling out a form for a missed bag, we emerged from the airport exit at 2.30pm (14.30). We called Drivalia to come pick us up as they are off-site. They informed us that because we did not arrive by 1pm, not only did they give our two vans away, but our booking is non-refundable under their policy! No vans, no refund, and definitely no help in finding an alternative solution.
Do not rent here no matter what. No matter how good the price. No matter how pretty the picture of the vehicle is online. Total scam.

Terrible
All conditions were met, but the car was never provided. They said that I did not pass the credit check. But in the Experian report, no records about the credit check that day. My rating is 969/999 (Excellent)! Ref. GB206872330
Both EasyCar and Drivalia flatly refused to refund the money, without providing any adequate arguments.
Never use these services, all this is very similar to ordinary fraud.
Where law enforcement agencies are looking is unknown.

I have used Drivalia twice this year…Appeal upheld
I have used Drivalia twice this year and on a previous occasion. Twice in Manchester which was an excellent experience. Once in Glasgow and had a very poor experience which was partly my own fault but felt that the agent did not give me fair hearing which did make me feel very disappointed. I was made to pay extra money for which I later lodged an appeal. The Manager refused my appeal but I insisted on taking the matter to a higher level. Drivalia have upheld my appeal and issued a refund for the amount charged for which I would like to express my appreciation. I will certainly use Drivalia again.
