I was planning on waiting until I receive the goods but considering it's now WEEK 7 of waiting, I honestly don't see the point. Regardless of the quality, I will never buy from this company again.
1. The website gives a completely false impression. The domain is drawelry.co.nz I was happy that I could support a local business. It was only after experiencing the order issues, that I realised this company IS NOT situated in New Zealand. They are based in Hong Kong, and they ship their goods from China
2. Order was placed 10 Feb, order confirmation stated " 5 - 12 working days" to be crafted
3. Nothing changed on the order status; I gave them additional time and finally reached out on 3 March and asked where the order is
4. The response was that they experienced high volume orders and I need to allow ANOTHER 7 working days
5. NINE days later - still nothing, so I contacted them yet again. I was told again to wait another 5 - 7 working days!!
6. On the 12th of March, I finally received tracking information. As of today, the 30th of March, the package has still not reached its destination: it was held up in China due to Drawelry delaying issuing custom declaration documents. Custom clearance took 11 days. It finally departed China on the 20th of March, it did not clear customs until the 27th of March. It has since been shipped from Auckland, to Taupo, to Wellington and only then will it go to Christchurch (the end destination)
REAL ISSUE:
- the company misrepresents where they are
- they do not tell you when you order that there will be a delay. The issue of them not being able to handle high volume orders, is a recurring theme. All they have to do, is be honest and adjust the lead times on their website. They decide not to and only indicate thus once you have placed and paid for your order.
- orders are delayed again and again, because they can't manage the orders with their suppliers or they blame Chinese New Year shutdowns (again, impact on orders should be indicated on their website from the get go for customers to make an informed decision whether they want to wait or not)
- the customs holdup points to Drawelry here; I have ordered from other companies who ship out of China countless times and have never had any issues with something being delayed in customs. This company is clearly not equipped to do international shipments, or customs have had repeated issues with their declarations, hence why their shipments are now being scrutinised and delayed even further
- the local courier company will operate to what Drawelry indicated was the acceptable type of route or shipment, which means they arranged the delivery to be as long as possible as to save money. It is literally traveling all around the country for goodness knows how long before I will receive it, even though it should only take 1 - 2 days from Auckland
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
You will not get your order on time, you will not get any straight answers, and I highly doubt the quality is worth the trouble.

RUN !!!
50 days after my order I had to threaten them with lawsuit to have a proof of shipment. I thought it was made in Holland, but the shipment leaves from China, Guanghzou region, THE region where Shein and other devil companies are supplied. I thought I gave my money to a responsible company that employed well payed people, seeing the price of objects... I am beyond upset.

still havent received my order. its been over a month and its still in the processing stage. i contacted them after the 12 working days and they said to give them 7 more…i did and still no change. now theyre promising me within this next seven days and theyre only giving me $4 back and $8 store credit when i spent $60. I told them if they continued to not send out my order than I would write a bad review and this is that. don’t order from here. I know I wont be using that $8 store credit. This place is borderline a scam. or maybe it is since I still havent gotten my order.

I ordered on the 1st of February and my order has still not been processed (19th Feb) and in fact, I have been told of a possible further delay of up to 10 days. Customer service barely replies. They advertised for buy for Valentine’s Day which I was well in time for but that was a joke. I have requested a refund and heard nothing. AVOID!!!
