No Customs Support / Stonewalling Customer Service
DPD has terrible customer service when it comes to customs support. I ordered from a UK supplier for a business account. The UK Wholesaler did not put the right address or include my business name. I notified DPD BEFORE it went through customs. They refused to adjust the address or the name, as they said it was only possible to get this information updated from the sender. They refused to offer me other options, notify the sender, or any other reasonable process, instead giving me the 'computer says no' type of answers.
Phone support doesn't work, so only chat and email.
Even worse, I went to the send to ask them to fix this, and in their DPD interface it said that everything was fine, the package had cleared customs (it hadn't) and it was on it's way to being delivered.
Even after the fact, they refuse to update the receipt so I can claim the VAT.
So I paid VAT I can't get refunded on a shipment that went to the wrong place. Worse possible customer service.

Returning a parcel from Northern Ireland.
The service for receiving a parcel
Was excellent. Returning a parcel from Northern Ireland was appalling. I used this service which allowed me to book my local town. When I went in to the shop they told me dpd do notpick up there nor do they pick up anywhere local to me. I had paid for the service & ended up paying again to send it by Royal Mail. Contacted dpd through live chat & got no where. Will never ever use them again.
