I’ve paid for next day delivery and…

I’ve paid for next day delivery and after I asked about my parcel(chat box in the app) they’ve called me saying that my parcel will not arrive today, receiving a message and email that I’ve changed my delivery for next day. With other parcels (on different orders, weeks apart) the driver didn’t even knock at my door but I’ve received the “we’ve missed you” email. I tried calling the customer service and I’ve waited 1h on the line. Overall I’ve had really bad experiences with this company.

AVOID DPD AT ALL COSTS.I sent 2 cast iron standwells via dpd. 1 got delivered intact, the other was delivered smashed because the irresponsible driver was careless.
I put in a claim to dpd only to receive this response on 10/03/2026
Dear Sir/Madam,
In response to your letter, we regret to inform you that we are unable to process the claims submitted.

Please note that DPD Polska's liability (damage, loss, missing items, delays)
begins upon taking charge of the shipment for transport. As the shipment was not taken into account for transport in accordance with DPD Polska's Insurance Regulations and General Conditions, we are not entitled to examine
this claim.

We wish to clarify that, in accordance with Article 1 of Insurance Contract No. 998B143682, the insured
covers shipments entrusted to DPD for transport within the framework of export or import operations ordered by the consignee,

involving crossing the border of the Republic of Poland. We also specify that, in accordance with Article 2 of the insurance contract, the terms used in this contract shall be interpreted as follows:

• International export shipment: a shipment sent for transport within the territory of the Republic of Poland, delivered
by any means of transport to a destination located outside the territory of the Republic of Poland.

• International import shipment: a shipment sent for transport outside the territory of the Republic of Poland, delivered
by any means of transport to a destination located within the territory of the Republic of Poland, imported upon order
received by DPD from the recipient.

We inform you that the documents in the file indicate that shipment no.

15976952297121 was shipped and delivered outside the territory of the Republic of Poland.

Therefore, we wish to clarify that the damage sustained by shipment #15976952297121 is not covered by the insurance policy. Consequently, we are unable to process your claims.

DPD stands for DELIVERED PARCELS DAMAGED!!!

Thanks to dpd, I have lost the cost of selling the item, plus courier costs, which I have had to reimburse myself out of my state pension.!

DO NOT SEND ANYTHING VIA DPD. IT WILL GET DAMAGED AND YOU WILL HAVE NO CLAIM RIGHTS.

PITY I CAN'T GIVE A MINUS STAR!!!

What a terrible service from DPD

What a terrible service from DPD. Actually there is no service. Its not first time when they send email that package is delivered but its not. With his terrible company i lost 3 package. They dont answer. Now before order something nedd to be shure that company which delivery package will not be DPD. Terible service, terrible company.

Delivery attempted to the wrong place twice.

I had been informed after contacting pcspecialist for my delivery. They spoke with dpd and dpd said the delivery person tried to deliver to an industrial estate which didnt make any sense. They did that twice and after another couple of days i was told a different delivery driver would be sent out. I received my package friday instead of the one day delivery (tuesday) i then waited in my lobby for the delivery slots both days. No compensation and they delivered it later on Friday which nearly clashed with my hospital appointment. If the delivery was attempted poorly, i feel it would have only been fair to try and deliver it to me Thursday or first thing Friday. Wasted a whole week waiting.

The parcel was not delivered and no card was left. The parcel was sent back to the seller. Obviously it went to the wrong address. It was impossible to talk to anyone at dpd and their website was useless. Appalling service.

Very poor customer service very poor…

Very poor customer service very poor app and I got told my order was being delivered then I was told it had gone missing then it wasn't missing and it was being delivered and now I've been told sorry we have lost it don't use dpd total rubbish.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. They seem to have dominated the market and they are useless. They waste my time and cause frustration. Out of 4 expected deliveries only one arrived. One is lost at their facility, another one courier said I was not at home despite me being at home and instruction to leave the package at my door if I am not in and for the last one where they were expected to leave the parcel at my local post office for me to pick up, they took the photo of the post office and left with the parcel. I do not know if they were expecting me to wait at the post office during their 1 hour delivery slot to collect it from them directly??? I have not seen any business like this before. Go and burn. I hope you go bankrupt soon.

would give zero if I could. These guys are making Evri look good. which is insane considering their prices! they just send a random pic of different property and opt not to deliver not even try the neighbour you have added...had to spend money to get them to try and deliver it the next day and the same thing again! does anyone know i can contact some consumer rights place?

They leave big package in service point instead of delivery

I ordered furniture and it was left at pickup point instead of delivered to my address. I was whole day yesterday at home. There was zero information about package and nobody was here with it. First information about package was sent at 13 and it was information that my package was left at service point at 10 in the morning. Now I need to wait till package will be sent back and can be sent again to me. I'm losing a lot of time and what's the point of courier if they don't deliver package to you?

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Only chance is to redirect to a service point. Otherwise will claim to deliver and then you cannot change anything. Actually ran out into the street to try and stop but would not. Will no longer trade if I know they use DPD

This is the worst service ever

This is the worst service ever. I waited 2 days for my package. On the 04/03/26 they said the van broken down. On the 05/03/26 they said it will be delivered before 4pm. Still nothing. I never experience such unprofessionalism in my live. They should just close down

Very disappointing experience with DPD.

Very disappointing experience with DPD.

For two consecutive days my parcel was not properly delivered.

Day 1: The driver (Zubar) marked the parcel as “delivery attempted – sorry we missed you.” This was incorrect. I was at home all evening and no one rang the doorbell or attempted delivery. The only proof uploaded was a photo of the back of our apartment building.

Day 2: Another driver (Nasim) marked the parcel as delivered and received by “NJHDBDBDB” around 20:30–20:50. This is clearly not a real name but random letters. The proof of delivery photo was only a very close-up picture of a parcel and does not show the location.

Even more concerning, the exact same proof-of-delivery photo was used for my husband’s separate parcel from another retailer, which was also marked as delivered but never received.

After contacting the retailer, I was told the parcel may have been delivered to 36 Hawk Brae, which is not my address. When we went there, nobody answered the door, and the map location provided does not even match where house number 36 appears.

Another question is why no calling card or delivery note was left at my address explaining where the parcel had been delivered. Instead, the system shows random letters as the receiver’s name.

The parcel contains pet food, and my cat is running low on food, so this situation is particularly frustrating.

What made the situation worse is that when I contacted DPD directly to request an explanation and investigation into the drivers, I was told to contact the sending company instead, because the incident happened the previous evening and “there is nothing they can do.”

This response is very concerning. A courier company should be able to investigate delivery issues involving their own drivers.

Overall, this experience has left me with very little confidence in the reliability of DPD deliveries.

Nobody home to recive the parcel but actually the driver don't show up

I was expecting a parcel delivery on March 3, 2026. The delivery driver reportedly missed me at 10:00 PM that evening. On March 4, 2026, at 10:28 PM, the delivery driver again reported a missed delivery. My concern is whether it is standard practice for deliveries to occur at 10:00 PM. Furthermore, I was present at my residence on both evenings, and upon reviewing my CCTV footage, no one approached my door.

Absolutely horrible service

Absolutely horrible service. I got an email saying my package was delivered when it was not. I was home all day. Now i dont know where it is - maybe got delivered to another home, maybe the driver took it, who knows. NO PACKAGE. I called DPD they said to deal with the sender. Now I have no idea if I'll get my refund. Worst service ever.

Couriers are dishonest

Couriers are dishonest. You wait in for your delivery and then get messaged saying sorry missed you. 5 days now waiting from Saturday 28th Feb 2026. Everyday another excuse, unforseen issue in area, or missed delivery. Repetitive photo sent to show front external door which is an old pic as planters are there now. Unable to get help.
My parcel being sent back to sellers saying unable to deliver.I have emailed the new @CEO Justin Pegg as I feel they need to know whats going on within their warehouses. Ibqal was the courier who failed to deliver.
My husband was home every day waiting.

The worst experience

I would give 0 star if I could. The worst experience ever. I was waiting for my parcel to be delivered and took the day off work just to wait for it. On the day of delivery, I received a call from the driver asking me to come down the building to pick up my parcel. I explained I have a one year old baby and the parcel is heavy so I won’t be able to come down that’s why’s I ordered a delivery rather than an in store purchase. He then said that he will get a parking ticket if he left his car. I told him he should find a place to off load the parcel and that I’ve never had this issue with any of the drivers before. He then hung up while I was talking and left. I then received an email saying that delivery was attempted but I wasn’t available. I called the customer service to complain, they were not helpful and said that they will redeliver the following day. I tried to explain that I’ll be at work but she kept repeating the same words. I’m extremely upset, I would never recommend DPD to anyone.

Probably the worst out there

Probably the worst out there. Notification sent prior to the delivery: only once. No "doorbell" ring upon delivery (I can attest, I was home)...yet they said they delivered the package. Then they left a note WITHOUT any indication where the package was at and their so called tracking app did NOT work, so there was no way for me to know where to find it. By the time I went to two locations to search for it, it was sent back to sender... A true waste of time, and it makes the business look bad. Please NEVER use them.

Disgrace

It's a disgrace. All 8 of my parcels from Vinted, all with DPD, returned to sellers, and DPD customer service is lying saying the sizes were too big (most were palm size). In reality, I was told that the drivers would return to senders if they can't be bothered finding the Yeep locker (all other parcels ordered using other couriers for a home delivery or a locker pick-up arrived perfectly fine). As a result, aside from the pain of tracking and asking for the items to be relisted, some sellers now don't want to relist. Will never use DPD of my own will ever again. This company should not exist.

DPD driver threw parcel into the back of their van

Terrible service, worst I've experienced. I missed the local delivery so the driver dragged the parcel along the ground, used it as a walking stick and threw it in the back of the DPD van. The driver then returned to the depot and marked the package delivery address as not legible so I had to hire a car to drive out to the DPD depot and collect the parcel in person. Also found several boot prints on the label so the package was also left on the floor and walked across. Don't rely on the package arriving on time or in good condition.
