Despite having a good quantity of my CD's rejected, I still messaged the company saying I would give them a 5 star review because they were an efficient service. However, they have since locked my account because I have used the service just three times in one year! They didn't inform me that they did this, nor why, until I pressed them. To summarise, this company is generally reliable when it comes to making payments (you can just about trust them), but wholly unprofessional when it comes to customer service - they just seem to make up their own rules as they go along.
These are terrible, nothing short of con artists they give you a price but then only select to acsept a couple of items giving you excuse after excuse why they can not longer take your item, but then refuse to send you them back when you ask them. Don't use!! There is good sights that give far better service and more money for the goods use them, like Ziff!!

I tried a different online CD-purchasing company, and they were truly terrible. So far, DiscFlipper has given complete satisfaction. Their Website is easy to use and as I have been selling off parts of my (large!!) collection a bit at a time, in batches of over 25 CDs, I've always had free pick-up. They tell you up-front that damaged CDs or CDs with damaged inlays won't be accepted, and so far I've only had one rejected. The money has always arrived in my Bank within a week of pickup. I will continue to use DiscFlipper until I get my collection under control.
They have been brilliant, fair prices, quick checks and payments, Excellent customer service via email, quick responses and solved the issue we had one time almost instantly. We have a few more discs to send and will be using them for these. Would recommend to anyone.
Everything went very smoothly; I like the way the list of discs can be printed out and be put with the CDs. Postman collected on time, cheque arrived, everytone happy!
After a few hiccoughs, I sold 4 boxes of CDs via DiscFlipper. I'd tried other sites, but this site offered more money for them.
The app works very well and the prices offered are far better than another disc buying service I looked at (I'm sure you know which one). The shipping is easy but do make sure you are sent a barcode for the UPS collection otherwise it won't be accepted at the drop off point. Discflipper customer service sorted this out quickly for me after I was turned away from a couple of outlets. Receiving payment via cheque is a slightly quaint and antiquated system when some form of transfer would seem more relevant these days, but that's minor. I only had 2 items rejected out of 120 which was entirely my fault but thought they might have returned those to me when they sent the cheque as it came in a CD size jiffy bag which seemed confusing. All in all though I would definitely recommend.
I have been using DiscFlipper for a couple of months now to sell on unwanted CD's.I have only sent 6/7 consignments of no more 50/60 CD's at any one time.I then last week told my account was to be disabled due to using them too many times, for a company that states it has over 30 years experience & re-cycle CD's found this absolutely disgusting! I for one will not be recommending DiskFlipper to anyone i know nor would i recommend anyone using them if reading this review. The rude e-mails i received from them when i questioned there decision was also totally unacceptable.

Wouldn't suggest these to anyone, made out most off DVDs were "scratched" they've got a discusting attitude, don't care about customers, I think the whole thing is a scam. Do not use these people!!!!!

negative: too fussy in regards to accepting CDs. I had CDs rejected because their plastic covers were broken. Or CDs that were a little scratched but still performed perfectly.

Possibly the worst website and customer service I have ever encountered. Rude staff, take it or leave it attitude and customers have no way of disproving their finding of "badly scratched discs". Bit of anscam to get goods for nothing. Far better to car boot items or sell on eBay. i would never, never use this company again and would not receommend them to anyone.

I've dealt with this company three times now, without hassle or incident. Loading the items that I wished to sell was easy, the pickup of those items was on the day I requested, the communication from Discflipper was excellent and the cheques that I received was sent out,and received, very quickly.
Discflipper are, from my experience,a very reliable and trustworthy company to do business with.
The prices given for my second-hand discs were very fair and payment was swift.I would thoroughly recommend this company if you are thinking about selling any of your unwanted discs.
I accepted their low valuations as I just wanted to clear some space in the house but then they rejected some discs claiming that they were badly scratched. Since I am always careful with my discs and know that two played perfectly and one was brand new and unplayed I realised that this could not be true. They wanted to charge me £10 to return my discs and could not provide any proof that they were damaged so I ended up with even less money. Use them if you want just be aware, in my experience, that they will reject some discs and you will not get what you are promised.

Great price and great service - hope to be using again in the near future.
Items collected on correct day. Prompt payment received. However goods not bought were not returned. Did think they would be returned a few days later but nothing received.
The website is simple and straight-forward to use - GREAT. It would be massively improved if there was the ability to save an order for a number (7-10 days) to enable you to check/re-check order before sending, and add additional items to).
There is no ability to get Items which have been rejected returned. It is basically the sellers opinion against the websites opinion (no negotiation). This does not happen in court, i.e. one persons opinion against another persons opinion means nothing without proof.
Found the company to be open and honest, and got payment within 5 days of parcels been collected.
Would use again if i ever have goods lying around
DiscFlipper is great for Customer Service, High Item Values and Courier Collection. The only small issue is that sometimes, you can be waiting a long time from when you send your shipments, to when you receive a cheque. I guess this isn't unique though, I would have thought that the same could be said about Music Magpie, Ziffit and CEX too.
Overall, DiscFlipper is a trustworthy and reputable company, who I will continue to use over companies such as MusicMagpie etc.
Many Thanks DiscFlipper!
