Absolutely terrible service and…
Absolutely terrible service and communication. My sailing was cancelled at very short notice with no proper support or alternative options offered – the only replacement was two days later, making my short family holiday completely pointless. Staff were unhelpful and even suggested I just turn up at the port and wait around hoping to get on a ferry, which was distressing and completely unacceptable. It has ruined what was meant to be a special trip, caused enormous stress and financial loss, and I would strongly advise anyone to think very carefully before booking with this company.
Update: This response from DF was nothing but a hollow gesture. They emailed me privately after this public reply and confirmed they will not give me any reimbursement or compensation at all. They know perfectly well the only alternative sailing they offered was two days later, meaning I would have missed most of my short holiday. They also never apologised for telling me to just turn up at the port and hope I could get on a ferry, only to correct this an hour later. They only responded here publicly because they had to, not because they actually care. My honest advice is: never book with these people.
