Always great to deal with Zohar and the Bondi Junction team.
Very frustrating experience with digiDirect’s online store.
During Afterpay checkout, the website showed an “insufficient funds” message even though payment had actually gone through, which resulted in a duplicate order. I then tried contacting the online team multiple times over several days without getting through, and only received a response after a physical store escalated it.
Despite paying for **express delivery (1–3 days)**, I later received an automated email saying the items were **awaiting stock with a 3–4 week ETA**, even though nothing was marked out of stock when ordering.
The order was eventually cancelled, but the process highlighted poor communication, misleading checkout information, and a disconnected online support system.
Staff leaning on counters looking uninterested and like they don't want to be there. When you have the audacity to ask them a question, they look like you have offended them in some way. When (in their mind) they can't assist you, staff just turn their back and ignore you. Terrible place to go. Do yourself a favour; don't bother going there as you will be incredibly disappointed.
Absolutely zero customer service and will do anything they can to keep your money and avoid cancellation of order refunds when requested multiple times
Online order immediately after stock confirmed.
Two weeks I phoned to question where the order was. Was told sent from Melbourne to Brisbane. (in transit).
3 weeks later still no item. Phoned Sydney contact who told me warehouse awaiting stock, suggested calling Brisbane store.
Brisbane says in transit was listed as requested 05/01/2026 and sent (from Melbourne) 12/01/2026, may arrive in Brisbane later in the week. Item was ordered last year 22/12/2025.
Total gamble. Only order if you're happy to wait unknown time for items. Wont tell you things are on back order until after purchase. Had to chase them when nothing arrived only to be told they have no idea how long until they can get the items.
Seems predatory as selling stuff that's not in stock and then not refunding but trying to pawn off with things like store credit. Checked the items listing again and shown as "available" and still taking orders/payments for it. Seems like a scam.
Worst ever. Bought an Atomos monitor and paid for express delivery. No delivery, no reply to numerous phone calls, no reply to emails and they never answer the phone. Turns out they have no stock which I only found out by going to Melbourne store directly. Still waiting for refund. Save yourself the grief and buy somewhere -anywhere - else.
Digidirect offers competitive prices - until you want to pay and realise there is a hidden surcharge on online purchases. But what really irritates me is their lack of customer support. They just don't get back to you. Phone, email, chat. It is like the customer does not exist after payment has been made. Or even before that! What annoys me at the moment is a purchase I made back in November 2025. Product was out of stock, and store pickup was no allowed. So I asked to be informed when in stock, so I could come and pick up. In January 2026, I received an auto email saying the item has been posted and I was charged for shipping. After delivery, I realised that Australia Post delivered my item to the wrong address., they had a photo and it was not my house. Very frustrating and Australia Post apologised within a day, but my parcel and item is missing. But of course I have no way to communicate this to DigiDirect, because they do not reply to phone calls, emails or anything else. So I am out of money, and don't have my item, but there is no way to tell DigiDirect about the facts. What to do but leave a bad review? Dear DigiDirect. I need a refund or replacement for my lost parcel. Please respond.
Scum of the earth. Advertise things online which they don't have in stock, then drag their feet when it comes to refunding you.
Terrible experience. 2 days after placing my order I received an email saying that they could not fulfil it, and asked whether I wanted to cancel or get store credit. I asked for refund, however 10 days later I still have not received my money back, and have had no response despite multiple emails and attempted phone calls. Absolute joke of a business, don’t waste your time and money!
I made an order for 2 items, delivering to my address, and got a successful email confirmation. When I receive my order, only 1 item coming in the package.
I tried calling their support number, after an hour they finally picked up. They said the missing item was out of stock so they couldn't ship them, but by the time I successfully placed the order, it was still instock, so they had probably sold it out in store after my order.
And they gave me only 1 item, then pretended the order was completed. Only scammers have this behavior since if I don't call them to check or I don't remember my order, they never reach out to me first to inform the issue with stock. Professional businesses like Centrecom, Scorptec, MWave, PLE did contact me promptly when my order had any issue.
should 0stars. sell something in stock and then hold your money for weeks with one email saying its out of stock. No one answers the phone, no one responds to emails. Absolute HOAX pretending to be an 'Australian store'. Im more peeved that ive now missed all the end of year sales and still don't have a phone.
sigh im very disspointment more, depress. when i go trip on november 14 so they give me stress more which i hard choose len for my sony a7c ii but i was first pre-order tamon 25-200 is important for me travel but regret deep end got sony 24-50 is hard for me short range cant get perfect photo is failure. i back to perth and return they refuse forget about it i said wow they said can in trade i ask how much they say $400. ago buy $1249. they laugh at me and mock me. i feel depress so u like look car dealer retarded.
The physical stores of Digidirect are amazing, however, be wary purchasing from the online store directly, as they never respond to your emails EVER. Contacted three separate times and no one has responded to any email. Furthermore, after being put on hold, no one picked up and the called was dropped as the call gets dropped off exactly at 2PM gmt+8. Horrible customer service as there doesn't even seem to be one at all!
Been waiting for an iPhone for months. Recently ordered a tripod that they had in stock. Now have been waiting for that for weeks. Tried following up with staff via email and I haven’t received a response for over a week. Tried calling had to wait on hold for ages. Gave up. Do better.
Still haven’t received anything!!
Items not in stock
After placing my order I was informed the items weren't expected to be in stock for another 4 weeks and I needed them urgently.
I received no reply to my email or calls to request a refund so I realised after reading another review that chat was the best way to contact them. My order was cancelled and I did receive a refund but it's annoying that the other options of communication were useless.
I purchased a camera from them during the box sale and chose the 7-day shipping option, but I haven’t received any email updates. When I contacted them, they said the item is actually on pre-order and will take 3–4 months to ship, even though my card has already been charged. I asked them to cancel the order, but I haven’t received any reply for three days. When I log in to my account, my order history doesn’t even show the purchase. Is this a scam store?? and where should I email them so they will respond as soon as possible?
Never updated or displayed stock amount online. Happy to take your cash but you’ll find out later you gotta wait ages before you get your purchase. Forget buying online, unprofessional
