We were recommended, by friends, to use Dezrez Legal in the sale of our house. Our experience, compared to our friends, was so different. There was no chain for either side and yet the process took 7 months. We were assigned Shelly, who was uncommunicative/impossible to speak to - rarely responding to emails or phone calls, slow, and made numerous mistakes with missing documents which delayed completion. Dealing with Dezrez Legal reduced me to tears on far too many occasions. I think their website mentions making the process of selling/buying a property easy - that's not how our sale progressed. A stressful situation was made even more stressful when it didn't need to be. I wouldn't use them again and wouldn't recommend them.

Update - were contacted by DezRez Legal after my review. Provided the information for them to 'investigate '. Not surprisingly have never heard back.

We were kept up to date with things. Especially on completion day as things did not run smoothly and bethan was supporting us over the phone with excellent advice .

Used as a conveyancer for first-time buying this year. For the main exchange everything was fine, had to correct them on a few pieces here or there, but got the job done in the end. That would get them 3-4 stars. Response time was fairly dragging.

Post-completion however drags it down further.
The seller had removed all furniture, which was a breach of contract. Post-completion team wasn't helpful with resolving at all, with it (as of writing) being 2 months later, no closer to resolving. Having to seek external legal support which I don't believe is adequate of them. So be careful.

Kept me fully informed throughout the process

2 years and 3 months since our moving date and still yet to receive title deeds, seems once they got your money your forgotten about and any remaining or outstanding paper now becomes your problem , they have been paid to do this so sort it out dezrez

Shelley at Dezrez is amazing, if something needed doing, she already did it !!! She makes all other solicitors look incompetent with how efficient she is. Highly recommend her in particular.

Shani and team helped make our whole house sale experience as smooth as possible. The web portal gave transparency and kept us up to date which was especially important to us as we are based overseas. The team was professional and really pleasant to work with, we would certainly recommend Dezrezlegal Legal.

Ridiculous holdup on moving day due to charging interest to parties down the chain over lack of deposit that should have been paid 2 weeks earlier. This should have been noticed by Dezrez team instead of creating delay and chaos on completion day.
Having said that Nicole Thomas was excellent in gett8ng this sorted eventually.

I have generally had a good experience with the Dezrezlegal conveyancer company. Staff have been generally professional and helpful with enquiries. They also provide support with other services such as surveys, building, and/or content insurance. I personally worked with Rebecca Tyrell and was pleased with her work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who requires a property conveyancer.
