I love Dermstore in general, however, I was disappointed to see that a lot of the product reviews came from a third party site, and that site is one that gives free products in exchange for reviews. W... See more

Dermstore launched in 1999 with the vision of creating a trusted dermatologist-backed online beauty store. Founded by a board-certified dermatologist, the company became a safe haven where customers could purchase with confidence. We have since grown to offer a wide range of skin care and cosmetic brands. Our collection includes: professional-strength formulas (otherwise only available at a doctor's office), exclusive spa care lines, salon-grade brands, as well as hard-to-find niche and specialty brands from around the world. In 2013, Dermstore became a wholly owned subsidiary of Target Corporation. We are headquartered in Southern California with a Spa location in Hermosa Beach.

I purchased a gift card as a 50th birthday present and she never received the text that was the gift. I contacted the customer service team so hopefully it gets resolved. Thank you.
UPDATE: Beyond relieved and thrilled with how this was addressed. Thank you!

Popular products are available at a much more affordable price with free shipping!
I could not receive the 15% discount for first time order as advertised on the web page.

My 180$ serum arrived with 1/4 missing and I called customer service and they said I’d be reached out to to exchange or just have a new one shippped and no one ever reached back.
Update- they don’t notify you via email what next steps to take as if you are supposed to know to check the “message “ section of the website. For $200 buyer beware. Horrible customer service and still no refund or return label. Despite “responding via message “

Craig and Jhaved hung in with me as I complained about a package that was stolen because delivery procedures were not followed.I wrote several emails; the team always responded in a day. It took a week, but Dermstore came through and replaced the items. Everyone I wrote or spoke to was professional. I will continue to order from this site.
Easy to find the product I wanted quick checkout and fast delivery!
Offered free shipping by using SHIP, THEN, offer withdrawn. Not the first time.👎

love how the site tells me exactly what is HSA eligible and not super helpful!!
Don’t use this company if you are looking for a human experience! They are hard to communicate with (you can only message through their site portal)— nothing personal whatsoever; robot responses. Just give your money to Amazon or Ulta if you don’t care who you’re shopping with anyway! Also, they send out 1 million boxes with their shipments and don’t care. I have requested 3 times that they hold my order until they can ship everything together, they don’t care. They will literally send you a SAMPLE (not even a bottle) in its own box. They clearly have money to waste because they are robbing all of us!
**update: I sent a copy of the invoice over in my initial request. I assume that’s why I was told I would be sent the corrected invoice within five days. The customer service agent emailed me and gave me instructions on how I can view my invoice online. It’s like they didn’t even look at the original request. Thanks for nothing, again!
I requested a copy of an invoice and was told that I would get it within 5 business days. That seems like an extremely long time to forward an invoice, and makes me question the customer service.

Incredibly frustrating and hassling experience over application of discount code - right after I hit the checkout button a screen came up showing a product that would not accept a discount code was indeed discounted with a code from the site (I had searched for this before and did not see it). My request was that they simply apply the discount code to that one item in the order or issue a retroactive refund in the amount of the discount - this seems pretty typical. Customer service told me that they could not change the items in the cart but I could return once I receive it. On top of that I used the option to cancelled the order on the site immediately and received a confirmation that the order was successfully cancelled but it wasn't and the customer service said it did not as it had already gone to dispatch provided me with a refund label for when I eventually receive the order.
