While this is an amazing store, with a wide variety of sports equipment, I have to give 1 star as i can not give a 0.
This store has a lovely activity area upstairs with activities mostly aimed at adults but they do have an outstanding skate board programe which my son has attended. This programe is affordable and inclusive of all needs and abilities, decathlon has now decided to close this programe and re allocate the space to extend the availability of an adult activity. I would have thought given that we are a diverse area decathlon would want to support local children and families to attend a programe that builds confidence and friendships, but sadly not it seems they prefer to feed the gentrification of the area shame on you!

⭐ 0 stars — Absolutely appalling customer service
I ordered a sleeping bag from Decathlon on 25 June, and I never received the product. As of today, 11 September, I still have not received my refund.
That is over 11 weeks of waiting for a product that never arrived and for my money to be returned.
I have contacted Decathlon repeatedly to try to resolve this, but after initially communicating with me, they have now stopped replying to my emails altogether.
So to be clear: I paid for a product on 25 June, the product was never delivered, I still don’t have my money back, and Decathlon is now ignoring my attempts to contact them.
This is completely unacceptable. Delivery issues can happen, but a reputable company should take responsibility and resolve them promptly. Instead, I have been left chasing Decathlon for weeks and getting absolutely nowhere.
Over 11 weeks without the product or my money, and now they can’t even be bothered to respond.
Extremely disappointing customer service. I would think twice before ordering from Decathlon online. I certainly won’t be ordering from them again.

Good store for camping and sports gear. The store at Canada Water in London also used to have a variety of sports activities, which kept me coming back regularly with my kid, but it seems like they're pushing out most of the sports in favour for a homogenous crowd of pickleballers, which is perhaps attracting folks with the thicker wallets.
While I've got nothing against them making money, or padel as a sport, it is extremely disappointing, especially given their mission "to make the pleasures and benefits of sport accessible to the many" and "Move People Through the Wonders of Sport".
Skateboarding and other wheel sports that are so crucial for the young generation to express themselves and redirect their rebellious energy towards self improvement and athleticism is being put through a meat grinder to put more green-coloured cells on balance spreadsheets.
I sincerely hope that the upper management will change their stance and see the benefits of diverse sports and supporting local communities. If not, I'll gladly spend some extra effort taking my business to alternative stores.

Choosing corporate profit over local children, shame on you Decathlon!
I am deeply disappointed with Decathlon's recent decision to cancel skateboarding classes at the Canada Water store. Axing these sessions in favour of adding even more pickleball courts (which the store already has plenty of) is a terrible mistake.
For a long time, the non-profit organization Skate Haven has used this space to serve the local community. Their low cost, accessible sessions provided a lifeline for children. These classes are about so much more than sport they are a safe space that builds resilience, fosters real confidence, and creates deep social connections for young people.
Decathlon is a multi-million-pound multinational company that constantly builds its branding around making sport accessible to everyone. Stripping away an essential, grassroots youth community program just to squeeze in higher-turnover courts completely contradicts the very ethos they claim to stand by. It proves they are choosing corporate profit over local children.
Please do the right thing and bring back the skateboarding lessons with Skate Haven.
Ps. Disappointed with the response it says nothing. As an active sporty family who have spent a small fortune in decathlon over the years of going to the classes I shall be taking my custom elsewhere , as decathlon prioritize profit over the community this member of the community will not be helping you make any more money out of us.

Made immediate contact as old address details. Emailed and phoned and no contact returned. Both my husband and I tried daily but no response or update on the order. Never received item. Will not order from decathlon online again. Two bad experiences with no support.

We ordered our bike on 1 September. Delivery date was 9 September. It is so hard to contact you. We did contact via Facebook who said it won't be delivered until 16th. DHL has just told us the bike is missing. We need decathlon to sort this out
Edit. We are trying to contact customer services as per your reply, but getting nowhere. Received an email from DHL this morning (11th) saying it would be delivered on the 9th. Not sure how we can go back in time!

Purchase from Decathlon returned, no acknowledgement of receipt, even tho i have proof of sending. To be told by wattsapp message a week later that it has been received but should be returned to MarketPlace. Then told that Decathlon will forward to Market Place. Still NO communication from Decathlon 2 weeks later even tho their terms state within 3-5 days

I love Decathlon. There stuff is always well designed and very competitively priced and covers so many arias, cycling, swimming canoeing, walking, camping and many more. It really is a one stop shop for outdoor activities.

Extremely disappointed and saddened by Decathlon’s decision to replace Skate Heaven.
It feels like a community that has been built around skating, friendship, inclusion and young people’s activities is being pushed aside in favour of profit. Skate Heaven is not just a skating space — it is a safe place for children and young people to be active, learn new skills, build confidence and spend time with their community.
For years, skaters and roller skaters of different ages and abilities have had a place where they feel welcome and safe. Taking that away will have a real impact on families and young people who rely on this kind of space.
It is incredibly disappointing to see a company that promotes sport, health and getting active effectively destroying a community space that already does exactly that.
Decathlon should be supporting grassroots sport and protecting spaces where young people can be active — not pushing them out when there is an opportunity to make more money.
Please listen to the skating community. Skate Heaven is more than a business space — it is a community, and once it is gone, it may never come back.

Purchased an Igloo ice box and it arrived used. Perhaps an honest mistake, but its been nearly a month after I asked for a refund, and NOTHING... they are not cheap and are holding on to my money and not providing a return, which eBay, Amazon etc etc can do automatically and straight away. They are blaming the supplier, but THEY are the supplier. I purchased from them.

My trade mill was out of use after 1 & half years of used. But Decathlon helped me to restore everything to run again by providing all necessary parts and all instructions. Great service

I ordered a SUP board on line. Unfortunately the valve was faulty so it wouldn't inflate. This can happen, but when we reported the fault and asked for an exchange the post sale service was dreadful. The only way to contact them is via whats app or email. Long delays in response and refused to take responsibility for selling faulty goods. I have still not received a satisfactory response or exchange, after 2 weeks of trying to deal with them
