Would really rate this company as NO stars! All these bad reviews are true. I wish I had thought to read them before I wasted my money. Please dont be tempted to try!! Awful 🙈

I too wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. The items I bought, as a try out were beyond dreadful. The cardigan looked like it cost £1/2 to make and cost £20, then with a couple of smaller items the postage came to £10. They are now saying that instead of returning they will give me a 15% refund (not holding my breath) to avoid sending to China and paying all those fees. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Luckily I only lost £50, and did it as a try out just to see what they were like. I think they are the same company as New Chic, where the quality too is awful. Now no one buys from them they have given themselves another name. The only thing they do well, is take photographs of really great items, and sell cheap copies. I wouild be embarrassed to wear the things they sent me, so will wear them either for cleaning or painting. If enough people stop buying they will go out of business.

I bought over £100 worth of knitwear for my wife last Christmas, which turned up piece by piece over the following few weeks. They looked really nice in the pictures but the first couple of items were nothing like their description and/or very shoddy quality. I cancelled the rest of the order and said I wanted to return the first items for a refund but when they eventually replied they said I would have to return them directly to China at my own risk and expense. Clearly this is a scam to send you rubbish and make returning it so difficult that you give up. I ended up referring it to my credit card company and thankfully got a refund.
Update - following posting of this review I got a reply from Damensein saying that if I wasn't satisfied with their products I could contact them for a return slip and send the items for a full refund. How convenient, now that I've already sought a solution from my card company, and how unlikely, given the hassle I had in getting a positive response all those months ago. So I repeat, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Thank you to everyone who took the time to leave a review. I keep getting pop ups for Damesein and the clothes look lovely, I was tempted to buy some a few months back but money was tight. Now I have received some birthday money I was just about to treat myself to some new clothes but thought Id check Trustpilot first after being scammed by a Chinese company (masquerading as a UK company) when I bought a new laptop lead. Same thing, they sent me a faulty lead, It would have cost me too much to send back and didn't believe they would confirm it was returned, I went through Paypal to try to get a refund but as they offered to accept a return (to china) Paypal (automated responses) closed my complaint as resolved. Why do Paypal allow scam companies to use them!!!

TOTAL CON DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I should have read the reviews first! Firstly I ordered over £200 worth of clothes . On the website the clothes look amazing. I was really looking forward to receiving them . The order has come and the quality of everything is absolute rubbish.The material is cheap and nasty, the colours don’t match the adverts, and the sizing is awful . The whole order has to be sent back. Damensein have told me I need to pay the postage to send it back. When I purchased this order I had no idea it was coming from China as it was a UK website. The cost of trying to send this order back is going to cost me over £100. The send back details are very hard to understand , and customs want details that I have not been provided with. This order is a total waste of money and I feel I have been totally scammed. I have never left a bad review anywhere . Do not touch this company . It is now going to cost me a fortune for utter rubbish. NEVER AGAIN .

I ordered 2 items in July, received one in August and was very pleased with it. However the 2nd item didn't turn up and despite several promises it has never materialised. My emails have always been answered but I've been fobbed off. I tried to replace the order with something different but was told a refund has been organised, I don't know yet if this will be received. I am most upset that I have paid about £9 postage for one item, I would not have ordered if that had been the case initially. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately I for once didn't check out the reviews prior to ordering. NOTHING is as described. its cheap tat and smelt of fuel.

What a disaster. Over £100 of goods ordered well over a month ago. Only 2 items received and both completely the wrong size. Attempted to return them but so many hoops to jump though that the deadline for returns went before I could do so. Order at your peril.

I am glad I read these reviews before ordering. I was suspicious as the item I was looking at had six different colours advertised, but the image was identical even down to where the wisps of hair were across the model’s face. Suggesting the item had been recoloured in photoshop rather than actually being a genuine created garment. Thank you Trustpilot, you have just saved me over £90.
A shame that I can’t find the actual item shown which was probably scammed off another shopping website. I have done a reverse search on image and found this same company operates several similar websites within Europe under different names. I use Tineye to find the image. It is a really useful way of finding out scams. The item I was interested in I actually traced to a Private Blog in Poland and was a boutique item, only available in one colour as only one was made!

Do not order from this company it is a scam it also goes under different names. I sent back items never got a refund. The bank refunded me and were going to take it up with the company its been months and have not heard from the bank so presumably they couldn't get their money back.

I’ve sent 2 emails to this business for a full refund and have been offered to keep the clothing with a 15% refund!!!

I anticipate a full refund from your disgraceful, falsely advertised business which and has robbed me out of £135.00!!!!!

I consider your website & its contents to be fraudulent and to this effect I have contacted trading standards UK & will make my views & dispute known to the UK public through social media.

Your business is dishonest in the way you falsely advertise products which are not the items sent out to the purchaser.

Furthermore the clothing is of a horrendous standard of quality which features cheap fabric & is made with poor workmanship. For eg. The socks have a long, thick seam along the sole of the foot so when you walk on it, it hurts the underside of your foot!!!

I sincerely hope this business is closed down by the appropriate authorities.

I have revisited your fake website which highlights the service of ‘free shipping’. This would also appear to be a false claim in your business model. You replied to my refund email stating that i would be expected to pay for the return to China which in your words could take a lengthy time to arrive which would naturally delay arrival, resulting in my refund being null or void. This suggests that your business has intentionally manipulated the refund policy to extort money from customers, with the notion of never refunding items.

I have also read the Damensein reviews from hundreds of customers who have publicly outlined the very same grievances I have highlighted today.

Ghastly. Be very careful before purchasing. Returns almost impossible as it is to China with import taxes all to pay for. They do a very glamorous job with their web site everything looks most appealing the quality on receipt is awful and nothing like you expect. I will never buy from them again.

Didn't look here before ordering, and have been delighted by everything I ordered! Received in good time, items as described, and everything fits. I must have been very lucky!!!

Fortunately I looked here before ordering. There are too many Chinese companys that are allowed to advertise good looking products which they are never going to deliver.
Maybe it is time that when websites allow advertising they have to hold an element responsibility.

Yep, me too! Should have read the reviews before buying! Poor quality clothes, poor sizing and spent £20 to send some items back to China only to have them returned to me unopened. Now the service office just keep sending my complaint around the office and sending me another returns label, to China!!
They obviously expect you will just give up and go away. I won't and would ask anyone else who falls for their scam to keep the pressure up for a satisfactory outcome.

Thank goodness I checked here before ordering. You would think their pop ups should be prevented if it's that bad. Pity as they have lovely looking items but not worth the risk.

What a pity though, the designs are wonderful.

I nearly bought clothes from Helolinen. Something made me check the reviews first as the discount offered didint seem right ; and found out it belongs to Damensein. Just wanted to warn others as there are multiple ads on Facebook; especially if you're looking to buy autumn/ winter clothes. Very misleading with no clear return policy mentioned.

SCAM!!! If I could leave negative stars I would!! Product I received was absolutely nothing like the advertised piece. Instead of a wool knit sweater with Icelandic patterning, I received a polyester sweatshirt with printed marks that a child might have drawn. Basically, if you tried to order a giraffe they will send a zebra and pretend it's the same thing, because both are animals with four legs and two colors. When trying to get a refund, they deny it's a different product even though proof is in the pictures . Instead they require returns sent at my cost, only to decide afterwards if it warrants a refund (answer, still No). DO NOT PURCHASE
