Delivery a disaster
I ordered a product and wanted it before Christmas. The product arrived in on time but I waka to confirm pick up as thy couldn’t guarantee delivery before Christmas. When I called to say I’d collect it I was told it was already with the courier.
The information from the courier GLS was appalling, no updates or detailed tracking information. The product got delivered 13 days later, if I had my choice GLS wouldn’t be a courier partner from this and previous experiences which lets down the Cycle Superstore experience.

Purchase of Giant Defy
I was referred to the store by a bike fitting specialist who advised me to talk to Mick Jordan. I was advised to go for a certain bike frame size but Mick advised me to go a size up after seeing me test the bike. Mick was extremely helpful and professional in hleping my final bike selection and also updated me on the Bike to Work Scheme. All other staff members were extremely helpful also

Excellent staff
Excellent staff, very professional and polite. Exactly what you'd expect when spending money on an expensive e bike. Highly recommend them. Dave in mountainbike sales was especially good to deal with.

Disinterested staff
Plenty of staff on floor, none acknowledged, looked up or helped at any point while i was in. Left standing at empty tills with two staff members chatting away about life at computer in centre of store.
Left purchases at till and headed elsewhere.

A slow, steady decline
I've been a fan of Cycle Superstore for many years now, but the past few months have seen nothing but a steady decline from them on a couple fronts.
First, back in the spring/summer, you couldn't get a single maintenance appointment there. I was building a bike at the time, emailed the workshop asking a few questions and asking if they could fit me in. They wrote back Sure Thing, we can fit you in. I followed up with them to try and schedule it, and they never bothered to write me back. Bit of a bummer.
Next, I was on the Tour de Beara, and a woman I was riding with had her bike kinda fall apart on her. That was fresh out of their workshop. Seat kept dropping, chain blew off. Mess.
Then I bought some tyre sealant, and they shipped me some that was expired, so that was a bummer. They did refund that fairly quickly though, which was nice, but how does that even happen in the first place?
Finally, now it's their web order department. I ordered some gear, been waiting for 11 days now for it due to backups at GLS I guess. I have written back asking for a follow up. No reply to email. I called them and pressed 2 for web orders, that mailbox is full.
So....what's left?

Bought a new road bike and some gear a few weeks back. First time I used cyclesuperstore. I have to say they were absolutely great to deal with. Really friendly, good advice, no problems trying a couple of bikes and changing minds. Held gear a few weeks for me when waiting for bike to work voucher. I'll come back!
