Affordable High Quality Products, Amazing Service
Impressed by how custom and yet affordable these mod kits are. Made my HD6XXs sound amazing. Even though had issues with the stickers that came with the pack, customer support was extremely quick and kind to send me another set just to make it right. If I ever feel like modding a new headphone in the future, I'm definitely going to buy from here again!

Damaged DT770 Fixed with a Headphone Socket
My youngest son owned a pair of DT770 headphones, which had a fixed fitted 3.5mm cord.
He managed twirl on his gaming chair and damage the cable.
I found CustomCans via a google search, I phoned them up and explained the issue and I sent the headphones to themselves.
A 3.5mm female headphone socket was added to the ear piece, meaning this issue will never happen again and its a real design flaw by the manufacturer.
Turn around time was good even though December.

Very poor customer services...
This is an unreliable company... First of all, they don't respond to emails at all. Exactly for that reason, when placing my order, I specifically indicated what type of device I wanted the product to be compatible with. Nevertheless, they still sent a basic version that I can't use for anything.
About the packaging: My order traveled ~2000km in a thin cardboard box (almost the same size as the product in it) stuffed with paper. Even the tape used to seal the box was made of paper... The package was quite damaged by the time it arrived in my mailbox. It's a miracle that it stays in one piece (it's a 3D-printed product).
With VAT and customs duties, I ended up paying quite a lot of money for two pieces of plastic that I can't even use. I am seriously considering requesting a refund from PayPal, as it is impossible to communicate with this company by email. I also worked in sales for many years, but if I had provided such poor service to customers, my boss would have fired me in the first day.

I have refunded your order for you and if you email me personally jfunk@customcans.co.uk with a copy of the receipt for any import charges you paid, I will reimburse you for those as well.
I will be the 1st to admit that we find it impossible to keep up with emails at this time of year but I can't see any emails other than the order you placed.
We do not offer custom options on any of the 3D printed parts through our website and I am sorry if it gave the impression that that would be possible
We do use all paper and card packaging to ensure it is all easily recyclable and we will not change that.
We need small companies like Custom Cans
I like the fact that small companies like Custom Cans server a niche market in need. The upgrade was well worth it to me. It was affordable and there timely shipping was great. Hope to do business again

Transformed my headphones - Sounds better than stock
I sent 2 Beyerdynamic headphones for detachable cable mod with balanced conversion. My T1 first generation sounded extremely bright to the point I needed to use EQ to tame the highs. After the conversion headphones now sound perfect. My T90 Jubilee also sounds great after conversion. Excellent communication regarding shipment and progress of repair.
