I bought a Cube E-bike in May 2025 from Tredz.co.uk through cycle2work scheme. The bike costed £2,449. In March 2026 (Less than a year and only after 193 miles) I found the chain snapped, got a... See more

Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro…
I've had my Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 750 Electric Bike for 4 months. My initial response was that this was a superb bike. However after several weeks I got a constant heavy rattle. My bike shop discovered that there were screws loose in the battery compartment. Extra support was also added to the battery. More recently a constant noise was heard when I peddled. On investigation my bike shop discovered loose screws in the motor compartment. This says very little for Cube’s build quality. I am very grateful to the The Electric Bike Shop – Harrogate for addressing these issues.
Spare part list
With little bit digging on website you can get all info regarding spare parts (also older models). For missing information you can also contact support team.
Stereo hybrid 160 HPC 750
Stereo hybrid 160 HPC 750, still under warranty, only 3200km. Two back gears destroyed, each one after only 1600 km. Definitely no good, structural issue, sure… Both replaced under warranty thanks to the dealer I guess, but soon it will be over and so… fear for the future… costs €230 the part, simply crazy… what a fragility for a bike that should go everywhere!!! 👎
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. They do not honour their warranty or respond to enquiries.
Make sure you pay for your bike by credit card as a section 75 claim will be the only option to get your money back when your expensive Cube bike falls apart.
Love this brand
Love this brand! Great affordable bikes! I’ve had my Cube for 12 months, never had an issue. It’s super comfortable and the Bosch motor/app is the best!
Not a very good first eBike experience from this brand
Bought a Cube 625 Reaction Pro from Leisure Wheels, bike has been flawless until earlier this week where I went up a hill and ended up slipping my chain & bending the chain ring, contacted the bike shop who say the following 'If you send this in we can put in a claim with Cube. However warranty only covers faulty manufacture and I don’t feel that this will be covered', so I have to send in the bike at my cost & then wait for the inevitable to and from dance. I know I was in the right gear so not happy as I'm off the road now due to cheap components used by the company
I wish I would have bought local now as I saved money by going online but no amount of savings will offset the dicking around that I will now be subjected to and I don't even have another bike to ride
Shimano parts swapped for Pro-wheel
Similar to a post below my crankset was supplied with parts not listed in the specification, instead it was fitted with Pro-Wheel components rather than Shimano Deore. I would consider this a downgrade. A disclaimer is only made about part variance for 2024 bikes (understandable considering the impact COVID still has on supply chains but even then you'd want parts of equivalent quality if not better by a well known brand). However my bike was a new 2022 bike sold through a cube dealer where this disclaimer is not made on their 2022 page. So be warned you may get worse than you paid for with no notice.
To make matters worse the customer service took multiple weeks to reply and when they did they just cited their disclaimer, refused to help and then ignored future replies.
It is rare that I would write a review but this is by far one of the worst experiences I've had with a company.
7 weeks to get a derailleur hanger.
7 weeks to get a derailleur hanger.
Unbelievable.
Why have cube bikes got worse
Just bought a cube bike for the second time and I'm quite disappointed the quality of the bike is really poor the first cube bike I got was really well built sturdy and the parts were all really robust and well made the second bike is not a patch on the first the build is really poor lightweight and poor quality I will not be buying a third
Very sketchy
Very sketchy. Their manuals are very bad and their products lack essential information. Also they do not answer questions.
Poor build even worse service
I bought a Cube C62 Pro from Sigma (who have been amazing). One of the frame bolts for the storage box came loose and was then unusable.
I took the bike to Sigma who contacted Cube, explained this bolt, which should be bonded into the carbon frame, was loose and the frame was now compromised.
Cube asked Sigma to drill the frame! Thank god Sigma’s workshop manager refused. Cube then said they’d replace the frame.
The bike was bought on the 9th of March, taken to Sigma on the 20th, and I still haven’t got the bike back.
Such a disappointment and extremely poor customer care.
And still don’t have the bike! Strange how Cube only reply to five star reviews! Ribble showed more care on a £700 bike.

P.S. I have my Cube Litening C:68X and everything works as it should 👌🏻
CUBE BIKES NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
Cube Gravel Nuroad.Had less then 3 months & chain constantly slips in & out of gear. Turns out even thought most of the components were shimano the cassette on the back was a sunrise which is a cheaper piece of equipment and was causing all the problems. NOT ALL THE PARTS ON THE BIKE ARE WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE..... BE CAREFUL. DONT BUY A CUBE.
Well done!
I had the opportunity to buy a Kathmandu hybrid in Rome (via A. Carruccio). Marco was very helpful and he answered to all my questions with kindness. The bike is superb but the people around even better! Thank you

Low standard and miserable quality
Low standard and miserable quality. After only 2,5 years the rearwheel broke. The hub broke. Just dont buy it
