Totally shit, I used some pirate sites better than this those sites give ads but just a few ones in 2 to 3 episodes one only one 30 second ad and they have full library of all anime from every platform, never gonna buy membership again

I tried to get crunchyroll subscription, I set up the autopay but was not redirected anywhere, payment was verified. So I thought it might be some bug, I will try again. I tried it again, and still the same thing. There's a very small fee that they take initially, I gave that twice but did not get premium, that's a serious bug because what if somebody would subscribe for 1 year straight, his money is gone then. What a trash for a website. So many bugs and faulty system. This could be the result of AI generated code. Unreliable and trashy website. Stay away, use animepahe

Crunchyroll is a HUGE security risk.
Email system flawed.
No live support for a week.
Not even feedback on tickets.
AI Assistent stupid AF.
Admits to Data leak after some time, claiming only non-essential data was retrieved.
Users are NOT AT ALL informed.
Bad way to recieve legally required DSGVO-Data-overview.

This site has very few older anime and, does not contain a great variety. Considering that this is an official anime publishing site it is very disappointing. I requested to withdraw my membership about 2 years ago and, it was more complicated than it should have been, plus they took days to respond to any of my service messages. I was not surprised when i found out this used to be a pirate site.

Bad corporation that doesn't give a f about consumers but only about money.

They logged me out of all devices, some kind of TOS agreement. When I logged back in, it showed my account membership as "Free" when I've had the "Fan" subscription for months. Contacted support and even provided proof the debit transaction and they just basically shrugged their shoulders and say they couldn't find my account.

Absolute grifting. I resubscribed (with the same card info) so now I'll probably get double charged and I doubt their support will help with that either. Terrible experience.

I deal with tons of customer services but this is the worst they charged me 2 times for nothing and they ask almost every info screenshots and say it will get refunded now but it did not. And i said i cant pay the premium thats the main problem because of that those thing happen and guess what they say try mobile and close the chat to my face. And when i tried to recontact they denied. And now after hours now they are still did not fixed anything. I hope they took this comments in these page and fix themselves

I like to watch anime on my firetv. Crunchyroll has an Amazon sub i can watch through but not a single ducking anime has subs properly done all the way through. Usually halfway through the series, the subtitles severely desync from the audio, if not missing the subs completely.

I think even if 10% of shows were like this, it would be bad, but its about 95%.

They mistranslate what's being said in the anime. I don't know if it's to suit their narrative or what but I won't support that.

the site has shows i like but does not provide dubbed versions or at least only gives one season dubbed then rest only subbed. also has a very limited list of shows compared to how many anime shows and movies there is out there leaving many shows unviewable. would rate it higher if not for the limited amount of shows and some being half dubbed.

They've only just added an easy way. Even then it has to be done through a browser. And not totally simple.

Before there were so many stages to go through. Eventually ending with some ridiculous email system.

As a loyal Crunchyroll customer for years I was saddened by the recent price hike from 79.99 to 99.99. However I agreed to pay this new amount. However I was billed 110. When I logged into my account it says I was billed 99.99 but my bank was charged 110. I reached out to customer service and was told the rate went up to 99.99, I said yes im aware so why was I charged 110. I have not received any response. The user agreement says 99.99 so why did Crunchyroll violate this agreement and charged me an amount with informing the customer.

the ios app is not optimised at all, streaming and downloading with a 100mb speed is very slow, plus when i tried to speak with the chat support all i got was one AI chat bot after another with human name. they don’t have any human chat support agents and was getting the generic answers again and agin for the problem. honestly, not worth it. pirated websites are alot optimised then this crap. will never recommend to anyone i know
