Had the sales man arive on time I was told told him what was required one for windows and one sales man for a new flat roof both was very professional about what they was telling and showing .
No question was a problem.
Then the surveyors come out and again was very good ,dates for the jobs was given .
Window men turnd up on stated time had a look to see what was what they emptied the van of all windows 18 before starting this was so the dog could be outside but with the gate open he was kept in tillnthe glass was in .
The fitters fitted the windows and all mess was cleaned up after them and window frames cleaned all rubbish removed very good job done.
Roof men turnd up on time spoke to them about how they got the old roof down as I did not want the grass damaging not been down long every thing was passed up and down and no damage done to the grass the roof was left covered overnight and come back the next day .
Thy told me what was going to be done and how it would be finished off all looks good he did photos ongoing to show what was done .

Windows
Everyone involved have been very helpful. The jnitial man that came out to see me was very friendly and explained everything very well. The man who then came to measure the windows explained the process. The 2 men that came to fit the windows were very polite and friendly and worked quickly and efficiently without creating any mess.
I am very pleased with the windows and the whole process and when possible I will continue with the rest of my windows.

Had a young gentleman come out last…
I recently had some of my glass in my house replaced and a new door by crown glazing, we know how sometimes these sort of home improvements can get stressful but to be honest I contacted them from my neighbours recommendation and they turned up to advise me on what the best option would be. I had the majority of my glass replaced in my home and a new front door. I am very pleased with the work carried out as I was a bit nervous at first being my first proper home improvement project. I thought I would share my experience to those who may think of replacing glass instead of windows. The energy assessor was friendly and very helpful as well as the surveyor who came to measure up for the manufacturing process & the fitters were very quick and efficient in the installation.
What a job well done!
Thank you Crown.

Hard sell, poor office backup
Like others we were swept along by the spiel and discount offers and had all our 50 window panes replaced. That was done efficiently. But the promised certificate of work done didn't arrive and I had to keep phoning them to the point where they recognised my voice, and after being told it was in the post and it never arrived I finally got an email attachment. What really iritated me was after repeated phone calls to complain about not getting the certificate I got a cold call from them trying to sell me double glazing!
Thank you for your reply and phone calls apologising. I trust you will extend the same amount of energy in organising your admin so that certificates are automatically sent out on completion of the work.

Regular cold calls…
Regular cold calls from multiple numbers from this company since agreeing to see a rep over a year ago to discuss replacement double glazed panels. I have asked them multiple times to stop calling but still they persist. A decent company doesn’t need to use this sort of sales strategy!!
Constantly ring then hang up
Constantly ring then hang up - call back and it is an automated voice. I must have opted out 5+ times now its ridiculous
Appalling service, 3 months to return deposit
Crown Glazing is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I consider it morally bankrupt, think it acted illegally and it has appalling customer service.
The short version is that Crown Glazing took a £345 deposit from my widowed 75 year old mother, for work that was not needed. They undertook pressure selling, gave false information and held on to that deposit for over 3 months.
In Dec 2022, my elderly mother took a phone call from Crown Glazing, saying they were in the area and agreed to a home visit. One big sales pitch later, an apparent ‘test’ that said several double glazing units have failed (they haven’t) and my mother had signed a contract. This was certainly pressure selling – she was told false information about government grants that they only had so many of left (untrue I discovered when I phoned them the same day, it was recycling credits they get for the old units, which was not a scheme that was ending, just needed to perhaps push into that month’s totals). A 75 year old person, living on their own, should never have been asked to sign a contract there and then but given time to speak to family. She was also told that she had a 7 day cooling off period and could get a full refund of her deposit.
I only initially called Crown Glazing to check why it was 7 days and not 14 days, as we wanted to get my mother some further quotes – their response to my queries and their manner on the phone soon convinced me we needed to cancel.
We cancelled the next day, on the 13th December. We were told the refund would come by cheque within 28 working days. I questioned heavily why it could not be paid back on to the card, as the salesperson had said, to be told - well, he shouldn’t have said that.
28 days passed on Jan 24th, no cheque. By the 17th Feb I had already sent 4 emails and called them 9 times. None of my emails were ever acknowledged. When I phoned, whoever answered was unable to check anything and, unsurprisingly, never seemed able to get in touch with the right person or department but would look into it and get back to me.
On the phone on the 17th Feb I was assured that the Director did pick up emails from the address I had been using (info@...) and that filters on the email ensured he would receive it. I sent a new email, 4 times, same email but different subject titles. No response to anything.
At this point I spoke to Citizens Advice and was given valuable information on what my next letter should contain – this was an essential step before I could take them to Small Claims. The letter was sent by Royal Mail, signed for. Frustratingly the letter was never delivered. I emailed Crown a copy of the letter on 9th March. On 10th March I telephoned again to enquire if they had received my letter. The lady said she could not access that particular email (info@... - the email shared on their website but one that no-one ever seems to read) so I asked for an email she could access. I resent the letter to customerservices@... asking them to acknowledge receipt. On the 10th March they confirmed receipt (this was the only email reply I had from them after sending 10 emails).
In the letter I gave them 7 days to return the deposit. The time came and went and just as I was preparing to take the matter further, my mother received a cheque. This was 72 working days after cancelling the contract.
The deposit, legally, should have been refunded by the means in which it was paid.
The 7 days cooling off, should have been 14 days.
Crown Glazing clearly does not care about whose money they take. The salesperson acted against all industry codes of conduct. They gave false information. They ignored emails for 3 months. They are not remotely concerned about their customers.
Brilliant service everything about this…

Fantastic company
Fantastic company
I had my windows and composite door replaced. The fitters did a very neat & tidy job & they cleaned up afterwards. Only problem was they missed the door knocker off and came back that same evening and fitted the knocker.
Cracking job boys!

Persistent cold callers
Persistent cold callers. Call me every month on different number (I block them every time) the first time I was a tually considering having a consultation but as they wouldn’t speak to me on my own without my other half present I realised they were old chill pushy salespeople so I cancelled. Every time they call I say I’m not interested and please take me off the list . This has been going on for over 6 months now. Ridiculous company- Avoid!!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - COWBOYS
A complete and utter money grabbing company.
We had fitted, new replacement sealed window units with so called A+ rated glass. They informed me that they would forward the invoice (confirming what glass type was fitted) along with the 10 year guarentee. Despite numerous calls to them with promises from them (including the sales manager) that supply of all documentation would be forthcoming, nothing received nearly four months on.
I even sent them an official lettter which they never even answered) Also note, dsepite the salesperson saying they were with FENSA, they are not registered.
