CoverCloud can only provide cover for gadgets that are less than 3 years old at the time the policy is purchased.
This is made clear on the website and within our policy documents. Also, to help ensure that we provide the correct cover, we will only allow our insurance to be purchased if a valid date is provided. Premium has increased this year. No claims, no explanation. Just another 20% increase. If you want customers to be satisfied and provide good reviews, your whole industry should take a good look at itself. Start rewarding customers who stay with you year on year, and stop with the profiteering.

We do understand that the increase in this year’s premium may be more than you expected. This is mainly due to your premium remaining unchanged since 2021.
By not increasing your premiums for as long as possible, we think have provided good value. However, this year we have had to raise the premium as a result of the increased costs related to providing quality gadget insurance.

Just brilliant
Been with this company for years. Cannot fault them at all. Colin who I have always spoke with is incredibly helpful to deal with. This is a company that is run by humans and not robots and auto responders like most. Their cover is extremely reasonable and very easy to setup and maintain. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Claim rejected for not being a permanent resident
I gifted my husband a iphone and wrapping gift of cover cloud insurance.
He lost is phone and when we reached cover cloud submitted all the documents the claim got rejected saying i am not a permanent resident. My husband and I both have been in UK since 2 years with ICT and dependent visa.

Regrettably, an ICT visa does not entitle the holder to indefinite leave to remain here in the UK, which means that we are not suitable to provide cover on this occasion. The eligibility criteria is set out within the policy wording and also emphasised within the online sales path. Whilst we feel we made reasonable attempts to draw your attention to this particular condition, given that you are ineligible for cover, we feel a full refund of the premium paid is appropriate.

Super easy to renew. All options available clearly explained and understandable. Nice font used on web page. Very attractive renewal premium. I have never claimed against my insurance and that is the real test of a companies quality but notwithstanding that, CoverCloud are impressive to date.
