Cottman of Winston-Salem Reviews 

Cottman had repaired my Transmission in Oct 2018. March 2018 front differential failed . I thought is was transmission (which was on warranty) so I had car towed to Cottman in Winston Salem from Asheville. Thank God I had AAA plus. I questioned weather differential was part of transmission and was informed it was not even though Front diff. is attached to the transmission. Took them over 2 weeks to repair car. I was told I would receive phone calls from them and never did and was lied to about when car would be ready twice.

Great customer service and quality. I would recommend Cottman to my family and friends.

Cottman did a wonderful job on a vehicle that I gave to my grandson. The manager, Susan, took personal interest and made sure the job was done right as I live in another state. I appreciate the honest and thoughtful attention given to our needs and the service provided.

The people that work here are very knowledgeable and Susan, at the front desk, always takes the time to explain what the tech means on suggestions and what they did to diagnose or fix the issue. They were pretty quick on working on my car. I definitely will be back for any major car work that needs to be done.

My experience with Cottman is my best EVER with a repair shop. Susan was great about letting me know what was happening and despite some changes to the work that needed to be done, they still had it completed exactly when she said it would be. The honesty, and not doing work that was quoted but eventually not needed will make me return here whenever I need work done on my car! Thanks Cottman for making my rough week better!!

It’s a good place for repair. They do go over the procedures for checking your transmission, but geez $500 to check it might as well be a mortgage payment! For me I had a warranty but both (mileage and time) expired, so right back to paying, in my estimation, another $2000. My vehicle is not even valued for that much. It is important to note that after checking it, the serviceman did put in transmission fluid for me...that I had to pay for! Guess since not being able to pay for the $500 to see what was wrong, I️ just had to be milked for something. Definetly felt great! 🙄

I was in town on business and they were able to give me a temporary fix so I could get home that night. These are good people!

The staff was very nice and the job was completed and delivered when they said it would be. We have had to come back for one minor adjustment, but I believe this is common during the break in period. There was no charge for that adjustment and we were in and out very quickly.
