I used to own a suede pair in this style and they were one of the comfiest pair of trainers I’ve ever worn. So, for my birthday last year I thought I’d treat myself to a brand new pair although I didn’t know at the time that the uppers would be fabric and not suede. Slight disappointment but they still looked great so I tried them out. JeeZo! These are the worst most uncomfortable trainers I’ve ever had the misfortune to wear. The first time I wore them I got blisters so bad there was blood all over them. Well, I thought, at least they’re worn in and this won’t happen again. WRONG!!! Every single time I wear them and walk anywhere I get seriously bad blisters. Unbearable and unwearable. What a complete and utter disappointment and total waste of money. I will never buy Converse again. I’m going to go back to wearing Vans and my beloved TUK creeper sneakers. At least when I wear them, I can actually go for a walk in them without crippling myself.

Just finished a chat with a young lady at converse customer service and l am over the moon with understanding and solutions she made in minutes.
We returned trainers ( with Evri)…
Trainers never reached their warehouse, arguing with Evri from 9th of March until today when l gave up but decided to call converse to tell them not to use Evri as delivery method…. She listed politely , take time to!find the order and gives us the refund!!!
I did not expect that, especially as order was placed in February!

Its not everyday that i get called younger than I am, I'm 17 so it's hard to go any lower as there barely is anything lower but i do get called ma'am and lady by people at my job (maybe i have an old face or maybe they are just rude) but i put in my date of birth which DOES make me 17 into the site so that i can create an account and it tells me that I am under 16. Trust me i would love to go back and do my GCSEs again but that is not much of an option. Any way, cant make an acount, cant sign up for emails, cant place an order and give my email address to receive updates on orders????

Wish I could give zero stars. Order placed 27.3.2024, shoes yet not received. ZERO feedback to my messages. I must admit that I did not expect this from official Converse webshop so I didn’t check reviews prior to the purchase and that I am shocked.
Not good
I bought my trainers in Jan and in May I had to replace them. Inner lining is in pieces. While the price is going up the quality of the shoes is matching.
ANTI CUSTOMER ‘service’
I was really really shocked at how bad the aftercare is. I placed a large order, what arrived was 2 opened boxes with someone elses order (but my name/address on the label) a random Temu parcel and only 2 items from my order. I called customer services and asked if they could please arrange for everything to be picked up from my home. I was told no you have return it to a parcel shop yourself. I returned as instructed and sent proof of the return. 10 days later I am still waiting for a refund. I have called customer services multiple times. They just want me off the phone fast. I get sent nonsense email replies each time I chase and have never in my life had such a stressful shopping experience. I wish I had just rejected the whole delivery in the first place. I trusted converse as a brand to help me, especially when they made a mistake! however I have had a nightmare dealing with them.

Sent my item back on 27th April, for whatever reason, delivery back to them took a while.
They recieved my parcel (via tracking) 7th may, on 11th May I emailed just asking why they haven't sent an email of returns confirmation to be sent an email back stating '. We have to wait 5 working days before we are able to manually refund you from our department'
On the 16th may (9 days after they recieved the parcel) I sent another email staying that I sent my parcel back 20 days ago still waiting for a refund, I was told they have manually input the refund and this can take 5-8 days. It's now the 25th May, I STILL don't have my refund. They are now blaming my credit card company.
Have I been scammed?!?!?

I do not recommend Converse products due to the unpleasant experience I had with their products. I ordered 2 pairs of Converse from two different websites, Zalandos and Converse, and both arrived defective with excess glue or unglued, with deformed material. Unfortunately, the customer service is not up to the standards of this famous brand. Unfortunately, money matters more and not the quality of the services offered. They have no respect for customers. I am very disappointed with them and their approach and will not buy their products again for any of my family members. I will let know to all my friends about this bad experience.

Bought a personalised pair for a loved one's milestone birthday from the UK site. They never received them, and now there is no record of me having paid for them. I checked all my statements, nothing, but I did pay for them months ago. There's no record of it in my email or PayPal either. I'm at a complete loss. Avoid like the plague.
Converse Chuck 70 - AVOID
I recently purchased a pair of Converse Chuck 70 low (lugged) handcrafted in Italy RRP £115. After only four weeks wear they have come apart between the rubber and canvas (significantly). After a back and forth with their customer services all they can offer me is an apology and 15% refund! Very disappointed as I’ve had the trek version for 6 months and they are absolutely fine, needless to say Converse have lost me as a customer.

Absolutely awful - AVOID!!!
For a large company their deliveries are abysmal. Ordered a pair a week ago for express shipping and still no delivery. Unbeknown to me the items are shipped from Germany, theres no way they can honour express shipping from 2-4 coming from Germany! What a load of b******t.

Order was not able to be proceeded, but i had to find out myself. No email or whatever was recieved. Than, after over and over explaining, supplying data they needed for being able to solve the problem, i recieved many excuses for all inconvenience. Refund would be done within ten days... After fourteen days still nothing. At my complain again after 14 days i got an answer that i was told that it could take up to ten days before the refund was executed. I concluded even counting to ten is too much for this "group" So, to people who read this i would say, buy your shoes somewhere else....this is miserable

Tried to buy a pair of shoes for my other half's birthday and ended up giving up.
Problem #1
I thought I didn't have a converse account when going to pay, so I made one. I had no existing emails from converse in my inbox, so had no way of knowing if I had an account already and regardless, I presumed that using the same email address would be flagged as being tied to an existing account.
Having logged in using my new account details, and trying to buy what was in my cart, an old address (from over 10 years ago) came up under payment addresses, which means I must've already had an account yet Converse still let me make a new one under the same email address. Oh dear.
Problem #2
I tried to change my address to my current one which took me to the previous page and greyed out my paypal settings, meaning I had to log into paypal again.
Once I went through the paypal login, I then had to manually go the next page, only to find it had set my address back to the old one. I went through this process multiple times, sometimes with the result of my cart emptying and me being sent back to the homepage.
Problem #3
When I eventually managed to change my address and successfully get to the payment screen, the old address obviously confused things further as it kept saying the transaction wasn't successful. I went to my account settings and removed any trace of this old address then went to pay again: lo an behold it was still trying to pay from the address I hadn't lived at in over a decade.
No amount of times spent deleting this address stops it from cropping up again and again at the payment options screen.
Converse - the internet has moved on. Shopping is a breeze on pretty much every major site going but not on yours – I genuinely haven't had as frustrating an online experience as this since I lived at that 'problem' address over a decade ago when online shopping was still hit and miss. You'll have to update your system before I try again. Useless.
They arrived phew and on time
Bought a pair of platform chucks on the 10th May from the flash 30% discount. The reviews had me worried about the delivery. However they arrived within 4-5 working days as stated in fact they arrived on the 16th via Evri. Absolutely perfect fit and

For a company this big their delivery system and network is frankly embarrassing. Come on Converse, sort out your logistics and delivery network.
My current order is over ten days in transit with no idea where the order is. The UPS link doesn’t work and no updates from Converse.

They lost the order, won’t replace it, as they’ve sold out of most sizes, and offered me a 15% discount. They offer you a bigger discount btw on a regular basis just to encourage you to buy new trainers.

My shoes started falling apart after a few months. I made a warranty claim and they rejected it for no reason. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and converse never bothered to respond so the case was closed without resolution.
