ONE STAR TOO MANY!
Not an honorable company. You have to wait 45 or more days before you get your cashback.
If you wait the 45 days before you contact them, I hope you kept ALL emails from the company to want to get cashback from. You have to keep all the emails until you get your cashback. That can be 45 days or more. If you have to write in for your refund, you have to attach the confirmation email from the company you did business with, even if you use *their* confirmation email which has all the same information. If you send them their email you still have to send the confirmations. Their site acknowledges that you made a purchase through one of their sponsored merchants, but you still have to fight for the cashback.
I have had problems with a few different purchases, written in with proofs and they promised that they would manually add my cashback. I trusted them to keep their word and got rid of all the backup. Only to find out later, no added cashback. I have lost probably less than $10 cashback, but I can use that.
Please!! Do not trust them. I cannot speak for other cashback companies, but I know that this one in not honorable.

I would like to change my review of RetailMeNot but cannot. I got a reply from them stating things that were already on their site. “It’s not our fault. It’s theirs. Or yours. Or anyone else’s but ours.” I have already canceled my account with them, first making sure that I got my cashback due me. If other cashback companies can give you cashback in less than 45 days without the hassle, I still can’t understand why they have such a problem.
Has anyone else read all the reviews? More negative than positive. As one reviewer stated – GO TO RAKUTEN. There are no problems with them.

I always shop on retail me not. I earned $98 back. I do not know why people are saying its not working it definitely works for me. I love it.

I havent got a single deal that works but yet it says theres 100s of people who used it today. Stop capping those numbers are fake and i think the whole thing is fake too

I received an email from Retail Me Not saying my rebate account has been red flagged. When I contacted them I was given a generic answer of there was suspicious activity on my account. I was very concerned that my account had been hacked because I hadn’t used the rebate account in over 2 years. I sent all the info to customer service that was asked of me and was told again my account was suspended and I would no longer be able to qualify for rebates. I continued to ask why and was never given an answer and now they have ignored my emails.

What a waste of a site. I have for a few years been referring to this site while shopping online to see if there are any available coupons. They have coupons for all sorts of sites/retailers, large and small, but I have only ONCE found a code that actually works here. I also dislike that every time a visitor clicks on the button to See or Copy a code, the site is programmed to open the retailers site in a new tab (I'm assuming pay-per-clicks or affiliate marketing is to blame for this behavior), while also reloading the page and popping up a modal/box where visitors must click a Copy button, again.

Garbage site set up simply for selling ads and tracking visitors. Don't let them waste your time.

You'd do better just setting up a garbage email account to sign up for a discount code directly from a retailers site.

This review is for the % cash back offers. I have found that about 50% of the time, I have to contact their customer service to receive the cash back. At that time, you need to provide proof that you actually made a purchase so keep your email confirmations. Also, they usually blame me for not following their link (which I always make sure to do) or the company for not notifying them of the purchase. They also make you wait 45 days before they will do anything. I guess they are counting on many people not remembering after 6 weeks especially since it's just a few bucks.

The retailmenot extension always finds me more discounts than manually scavenging through coupon codes. I am quite impressed by their coupon codes and cash back! I don’t know why people are posting negative reviews for invalid coupon codes...that’s going to happen! Done coupon codes will work, some won’t because they’re either expired or user-submitted. People also need to realize that some websites don’t really have coupons so you’ll be less likely to find coupons for then even with the extension. I’ve only had positive experiences with the extension. Keep those coupons coming!

Will not let me collect my cashback! So they got paid for my clicks, but they won’t give me the money that I earned. They keep telling me to put in a valid phone number and then get the text validated and it still will not let me move on to collect my money that I’ve earned. I will be contacting the attorney general right away!!!!

I cannot get rid of their junk mail which I never signed up for. I hope someone starts a collective law suit.

Hrblock software, retailmenot sell $35(after 35% discount). Same time, Amazon, Walmart sell same is only $22, retailmenot should lower than 1 star.

NOTHING EVER WORKS! Stores don’t accept the codes online or in person! This has been taken over by some other company in Nigeria I’m guessing?? Because it used to be decent ...

They initially kept their promise and gave cash back for ~80% of the offer activated. But lately (last 2-3 months), they completely stopped processing any activated offer. I contacted their customer service, but they said 45 days are needed to process a cash back, but in reality more than 90 days have passed and never got cash back for any purchase. Turned out to be a complete fraud!

RetailMeNot displayed a promotion for $50 off at HotTubWorks. When I contacted the company, they new nothing about it. RMN should back up any offers they display on their site. Wont use it anymore because who knows if the offers are legit or not. BAD business practice, trading credibility for traffic. Need to contact FTC. re false advertising...

How many other fake ads are on the site I wonder.

They claim you can redeem into your venmo account and when I try to redeem the only option is PayPal. Unable to contact anyone for help. Would not recommend. Horrible customer service

I installed the extension today and was SUPER excited as I often use Chewy.com and have more than one pet so I always end up spending SO MUCH MONEY THERE. I ALWAYS LOOK UP CODES TO use as I am always on the hunt to save money and I noticed that on the Retailmenot website, there was several very good coupons for Chewy.I did not hesitate to get the extension and login in all just to COMPLETELY WASTE MY TIME. This is exactly like HONEY who also claims they find all the codes and apply them. I have never gotten neither to apply the codes right so I am getting ready to delete both of these pieces of PURE GRADE A CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have contacted retailmenot multiple occasions to remove me from their mailing list and they do not respond. Under the CCPA, I will be seeking compensation as these requests have repeatedly been ignored.

pretty average experience , was looking for coupons for a product and all the links they offered didnt actually work so carried on googling and finally found a verified deal elsewhere

**In response to the thieves- yet again a typical generic BS response as I clearly did not use my actual name for them to know who I am! They don't even respond to BBB complaints that speaks volumes! Disgusting! Steer real clear of these frauds!!!

The reviews speak volumes! Absolutely deplorable BS scam of a site....How many times does someone have to chase them for cashback that I am owed!!!! One scripted excuse after another with the most inept customer service, I'm looking at you Mark and Nolan!! Avoid these scammers like the plague they steal the cash back you are entitled to!!!! Thieves!!! Shut them down already!!

AFter writing this review below, CS team finally resolved the issue, it was glitches in their software. Several months ago, CS team was so slow in responding and not helpful...something changed, and responses truly were within 24hrs, and they were very helpful. I upgraded my review from 1 star to 4 stars accordingly. The system still has glitches though, for example, I bought a bunch of stuff at Lowes, and one item was defective, I went into store and exchanged it for a new one. RetailMeNot showed the entire order was returned, and therefore would not give me my credits. They said I had to give them all receipts for review. but who can go through all this for $10? So beware, there will prob. always be some gltiches like this, but if the compnay continues on this path, hopefully it will be succuessful.... CS means everything when things go wrong.

I followed the rules perfeclty. I based my purchase decision on the cash back they offered... waited the 45 days, and NEVER got ANY of the cash back on the 3 purchases I tested the service on. Customer service takes forever to email you back, and so far, they cant resolve anything, despite them saying they could...
