It was my first use of ColisExpat - getting my purchase shipped from France to Germany and everything was done fast and went so well that I chose to have an abonnement. The re-packing of 2 packets into 1 delivery for cost saving is also a recommendable option there.

only two notes. 1 is that the customer service is somewhat lacking insofar as it will always take 24-36 hours to receive a reply, no matter what. but i always receive a reply. i usually contact regarding parcels taking a bit too long to register to my account after being received. parcel registration can be slow. sometimes they take a week, sometimes they take mere minutes. so it depends. it can be fast too. 2 is that shipping to the US is limited to just UPS at the moment, which is pricey. i wish there were more courier options for the US.
I have tried pretty much everything there is to try with ColisExpat - sending to france, UK, germany (and then to france), etc. warehouses, and forwarding to myself in various countries (non-US residents will be very pleased with the courier options). it just works. and it works exceptionally well. i am immensely happy with them. i really could not be more happy with them. it's actually hard to think of more things to say as at this point i've used ColisExpat for so long and so many times and it just works so well in pretty much every department. i am so glad i discovered them. and i have tried other forwarding services in france and germany. for me, ColisExpat is the one. by far.

Great service
First, the tax exemption option is only available during account creation — if you miss it at that stage, there is no way to enable it later. This means you are permanently locked out of tax reimbursement for your entire subscription, with no workaround offered. A setting this consequential should be editable at any time from your account dashboard.
Second, delivery times are significantly longer than advertised. When I contacted customer service about my delayed package, instead of taking ownership of the issue, they simply told me to contact customs clearance myself. That is not acceptable — managing the reexpedition process from end to end, including customs-related issues, is exactly what this type of service is supposed to handle on behalf of its customers.
The concept is good, but these two issues reflect poor product design and inadequate customer service. I would recommend the company urgently address both before recommending this service to others.

After checking the tracking information, your parcel is currently shown as being processed by customs in Morocco.
At this stage, customs clearance depends on the local customs authorities and/or the postal carrier in charge of delivery in the destination country. If any documents, additional information or fees are required, they are usually requested directly from the recipient.
We understand, however, that you may not know exactly which service to contact.
On our side, we will also check with our partner to see whether any additional information is available regarding the current customs hold. In the meantime, we recommend contacting the local postal carrier in Morocco with your tracking number, as they should be able to tell you whether any action is required to complete customs clearance.
We will get back to you through this ticket as soon as we receive any further information.

Everything ok but..
Everything ok, just a few comments. The delay of sending my package was a bit longer than usual because package arrived in Italy from an Italian store and then should have been to be transferred in central warehouse in France and from there to be shipped to final destination. Totally about 20 days for a shipment in EU, maybe more. Anyway, i am sure that they do their best so i would choose again.

Hassle free delivery of car part from France to UK
Worked a treat and got my purchase from France to the UK safe and sound. Prompt emails were received throughout the process which is very reassuring when using a service like this for the first time. In my case the purchase was a car windscreen wiper motor from a vehicle dismantlers and there was no drama regarding this being a vehicle component. A fair price for a well run service, would happily use it again.

The support was excellent, you helped me with a couple of questions I had in a timely fashion.
I suggest that you would request to attach the invoice of the purchased product, since they required me, in the customs, to go personally to show the value of the package, and that costed me a whole day. I know is a problem from the customs here, but may be if the invoice would be visible it could have not happened.

This company can absolutely not be…
This company can absolutely not be trusted. If you type out a customer service request/help desk, you will only be referred to the FAQ which is as helpful as a fish with a bicycle. If it were helpful to begin with, as in your question answered, you wouldn't need to submit a "help" request. Their time frames are also extremely misleading and inconsistent from the FAQ to the CS Team. And when you finally get a email saying that they have your package, you can not find or access where ever it is they're telling you to go because it's not on their website or they would have sent you a link directly to it.
Now keep in mind how disenchanted and frustrated one must be to take the time to type out a negative review because a positive review may be written by an employee, a bot, A.I., or a "friend" of the company. a negative review is written by a angry customer and one that tried to avoid this scenario by asking questions up front, shame on me for taking the shot anyway despite the red flags. ColisExpat so far truly appears to be a Scam, save yourself the aggravation and time that you will never get back.

ColisExpat is not a scam. Your customer account is identified, and your parcels are visible in the system. Some of them require customs information to be completed before the forwarding process can continue.
When a parcel is delivered to one of our platforms, it may take a few working days before it is checked, identified and registered in the customer account. Once registered, the next steps must be completed from the customer area, including the customs declaration, carrier selection and forwarding payment.
We take note of your feedback regarding the clarity of our replies and the need for more precise guidance, especially for a first use of the service.

Sent me someone else’s parcel, mine never arrived
They received my parcel at their Feltham warehouse on 10 July — Royal Mail proof of delivery, photo and all. Then they shipped me a completely different customer’s parcel instead. It still had its original label on it, so mine was clearly never even picked off the shelf.
I’ve emailed them about fifteen times. Not one proper response. I’m still holding the other person’s parcel and they won’t even tell me how to return it.
Fine when nothing goes wrong. When something does, there’s nobody there.

I wish I looked at this company reviews before using it. It is expensive very confusing website. In my opinion not very good customer service and all over. Just a rip off. Do not Recommend it do not use it. It is very confusing and just so expensive an awful website I don’t understand how this website is still up. Did anyone else have to pay? Not only for the website which I understand? I’ve paid them $50 Australian but then I had to pay 100+ dollars to ship it to Australia and they didn’t even tell me I had to ship it myself to Australia. I was under the impression that if I ordered with this this parcel forwarding company that it would ship directly from America at their warehouse which I selected to Australia but no I had to pay for the shipping from their warehouse in America to Australia and it was a bloody rip off awful website. The tracking information barely ever works or is accurate and it takes forever. It’s been over a month for me. Awful website. Do not recommend.

The service quality is extremely poor. Do not expect fast delivery to your home. If you have a month to waste, this is the perfect service for you.
I purchased an item in Germany, only about 350 km from my home in Luxembourg. As suggested on the website, I requested a Colis Expat reshipping address in Germany in order to place my order. To do so, I first had to submit a copy of my identity card. It then took several days for Colis Expat to validate my ID before I could even proceed with my purchase.
Once my account was finally validated, I placed my order. The parcel reached my Colis Expat address in Germany just two days later.
That is when I discovered that Colis Expat does not actually forward parcels directly from its German address to my final destination. Instead, the parcel is only "pre-received" there before being shipped over 1,000 km to the company's main warehouse in France.
As of today, I am still waiting for my parcel to arrive in France. I do not even know when I will finally be able to request that ColisExpat forward it—at last—to my home in Luxembourg.
This whole process is unnecessarily slow and completely defeats the purpose of using a reshipping service for parcels originating from a neighbouring country.
