Not a satisfactory experience

As a teacher who already worked in many different teaching platforms, my experience with Colanguage was not good. In all different platforms, I usually get paid with different policies but I will definitely get PAID when I'm supposed to. Regarding this website, I have done 2 lessons of which one was requested to be paid out and they sent me an email that the money has been transferred to your PayPal. Sadly though, I didn't get the money. I sent two emails and they replied me on next week Monday with a short message: "Sometimes it can take 5 days to receive the money. Is your PayPal account correct?" There is only one way to be positive about their message which is to consider that maybe they have transferred the money from a bank account to PayPal which they didn not mention. In my email to them, I had twice requested to have the transaction ID. but they didn't send it in response and just explained shortly. I was expecting that they provide better service or explanation to a new teacher who has sent a ticket to solve a problem. Besides, they are too slow to respond a question and that makes everything harder. Honestly speaking, now I doubt about the credibility of some of following reviews and compliments. I wish they are true. If it goes on like this, I will talk to my student to cancel all his lessons so that we move to another platform soon.

Outstanding customer service

coLanguage customer service staff is very patient, professional and thorough. My experience was excellent. Ms. Desirée Esposito was able to handle my requests and she was very friendly and polite. I would like to thank her for her work.

Questions

Questions, refunds...I had some and it works fine. Humans on line (not bots) with quick answers not sending you back to FAQ or giving a "general" answer.

Friendly and helpful staff

The customer service and support team were friendly, helpful and fast, specially Desiree Desposito. I had some difficulties with withdraw the money on my account and they solved it very fast. Also, from the very beginning of my working for coLanguage they were nothing but fast, friendly and helpful.

Very bad

Very bad. Difficult to use. Very bad "teachers". There are other and better !! websites to learn a language. I would NOT recommend coLanguage !

all our teachers have teaching certificates and additionally get verified in a personal Skype interview.

But it can always happen that while teaching he/she is not good. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with your teacher.

Could you please tell our support team the name of the teacher, so we further investigate the case and can remove him/her from our platform?
