A lovely cottage

A lovely cottage, very welcoming and the fire was great as although the weather was lovely it was cold at night. A few things - we did have ants in the kitchen but once we put the food up in the cupboards it was ok!!!! Also the bed sank in the middle 🙈 but we honestly had a lovely time. Thank you

Easy to use

Very easy to use and check dates for availability. The only filter I’d personally like would be parking at the property.
Great selection of places along with good information about them and the surrounding area.

Repeat user

We've used Coastal Cottages for all our visits to Pembrokeshire and always enjoyed the properties we've chosen. The staff are quick and helpful in responding to queries or issues, though there have been few of the latter.

Agos y mor cottage

We loved our holiday stay at Agos y mor cottage the first time we went there over 10 years ago. This is our third return to this cottage. It is in an idyllic location, so quiet and with a great view of the sea. It is clean and tidy and perfect for us.

Nice cottage but let down by a few things

The cottage was nice, quaint and quirky. The position right by the beach was outstanding. We loved the view of the sea from the bedroom window. The beds were very, very comfortable and the duvets and pillows were of high quality.
The slight downside was the heating. It is heated by night storage heaters which had not been put on before we arrived so it was very cold and unwelcoming when we arrived. We were glad of the log fire which did get the living room reasonably warm once we got it going, but the kitchen/ dining room, bedrooms and bathrooms were very cold. On the following days the night storage heaters provided reasonable warmth during the day but by the evening they had given off most of their heat so the rooms got quite chilly. We certainly needed the log fire. We were there in March and at a particularly stormy time with a bitterly cold wind. Probably in the summer months this would not be such a problem.
It was made worse by the fact one night there was a power cut at 2:30am and the power was not restored until 4pm the following afternoon, so no heat in the storage heaters, no hot water, no way of cooking etc during this time. However I accept that is not the fault of the cottage owners.
I was slightly disappointed that there was no 'welcome pack' (milk tea/coffee etc) on arrival which is usual in most self catering cottages we have had, and which allows you to have a hot drink on arrival before going to get your shopping. This is a minor point but along with the cold it added to the unwelcoming feel when we first arrived. Also parts of the cottage could do with a good dusting!
Overall a nice cottage and we probably would stay there again but a few little things let it down.
