Every solicitor that I have dealt with from CJCH have been nothing less than exceptional.

I couldn’t advise another law firm for any matters that require attention of detail and full care.

The experience we received from the firm was not great at all. We were recommended to use these solicitors, however, it turned out to be the worst experience we have had with a law firm which caused us a loss of £3,300 as we had to pay additional tax as the firm caused a delay in them receiving the mortgage offer from our lender.

We had been informed by the lender that the firm had the incorrect email address so the mortgage offer was being sent, however, the email address was no longer active. We have been informed by the lender that the responsibility should be on the firm to have their contact details updated on the system.

As buyers, we are not aware of the process and it was only when we started chasing regarding the mortgage offer, it was at that point that they somewhat tried to contact the lender to get an update. In correspondence we saw that there was an email sent from the firm saying that they don't have time to sit and be on hold on the phone to the lender to have this matter resolved.

Due to the lack of proactivity by the firm, the mortgage offer was issued 3 months later which caused a significant delay in our transaction. Whilst they were not aware of the tax rules changing, if they had been more proactive, the mortgage offer would have been received much earlier and the matter would have completed on time.

We were buying in our company name and we as part of the mortgage terms and condition, as directors we had to obtain independent legal advise. The firm agreed to do this for us by appointing us another solicitor, however, we were being chased on documents which hadn't even been sent to us by the team. We did not appreciate the tone which was used especially as we didn't have the required documents. We had also just arranged for signed documents for the purchase to be posted out so they are received by the firm ASAP, however, as they missed these crucial documents for the independent legal advice, we had to take time off work to have the documents completed and sent by special delivery so the firm can receive it ASAP to progress the matter.

Overall we feel the experience provided by CJCH was not acceptable and when we made a complaint, there was no compassion and understanding given by them on the points we raised with them. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this firm for their legal services and neither would we use them again.

We got in touch with CJCH solicitors, who helped with the selling of my mum's property back in England.... Kimberley was really friendly and kept us in the loop throughout, she was fantastic and made the whole thing less stressful, can't fault her. I would definitely recommend to friends and family
