Dont buy car stereo from them and have it installed, they lie about the insulation

I went to buy a stereo for my car because the left side speaker did not work. I explained this to sales and they said the geek squad would fix it when they installed the new radio. They put the new radio in and did not fix the problem and made all kind of excuses why they did not. They new this going into the install that the left hand side did not work and never looked at the problem and charged me for the new stereo. Stay away from them, go to a repair car stereo shop.

Awful! Website shows everything in stock but they take your money and never ship. Had to do a chargeback on my card to get my money back. AVOID!!!!

Same as the last guy, they sold an item they didn’t have and can’t manage to refund

Their website apparently does not reflect stock at all. They will sell you an item that is not in stock but not notify you of that fact. They will then sit on your money till you ask where the item is and then tell you oh it’s out of stock and it may show up in a month. When you ask to cancel and get a refund they send no official emails about the cancelled order and I’ve been waiting for the refund now for 9 days. So far they have had my money for 16 days for an item they never had and can’t send but have a hard time cancelling. Do not purchase from Circuit City with any confidence you will get your item and not have to fight for a refund when you don’t.

Company should have stayed out of…

Company should have stayed out of business. Took a month for them to finally tell me why they haven't shipped the monitor I ordered. It turns out its been backordered but no one on their chat team was competent enough to say that so I had to cal. Always had an excuse fullfillment person in meeting etc....

decent ever since ownership change

They've been decent ever since they got bought out. Now to me it's just a generic consumer electronics store with good prices and decent service.

I buy some PC related items here once in a while, but I woudl say the prices are still DEFINITELY better than best buy (best buy is a rip!)

online shopping and in store pick up saved me time

this christmas i decided to shop online. I visited circuit city.com and found something for a gift. I didnt want to wait for it to come through the mail so i opted for in store pick up. I got an email about an hour later and it said my order was ready for pick up. Went to the store and my pickup was ready. I will use this option again in the future.
