Very poor customer relations
Cinemas publish schedules randomly, perhaps just a day or two in advance. The website is truly user-hostile. There is no way to give feedback to the company (because they know they'd only get justified complaints.)
Pop machine disgusting
I dislike the pop machines where you can select multi- flavours. The pop is disgusting and often tastes of the previous customers pop choice. At times I let the machine run to try to flush it out, bit it is still gross. Bring back the old individual pour machines

Went to see Oppenheimer, sound was great, it was amazing to see on the big screen, snacks were on par, and the theatre was clean

Not VIP at Cineplex VIP
Restaurant at VIP Brossard is now officially a cafeteria. Plastic fork and knife, no glass to drink our beer (you need to ask for one, and don’t expect a cold glass). Food is less than average and service is not VIP. I’m far from my previous experiences pre-COVID. We must realize that today, poor quality/less service/higher prices is the new standard. Last visit at the VIP restaurant.

WORST WEB EXPERIENCE
The website is one of the worst we’ve ever seen.
Process and execution parameters are really disappointing. To book tickets the entire experience is a nightmare.
I’m sure I’ll ever try to prebook with cineplex again. So, it’s unlikely I’ll ever attempt to attend a theatre again.
It’ll be great when you can buy access to your own home theatre and avoid this website quagmire.
Avoid online booking at all costs
Your online experience is the second worst in Canada, only trumped by the Canadian government websites and the worst part is YOU expect users to pay $3 for the privilege! Everytime I want to book a ticket online , a cold sweat appears. Awful awful awful user experience. I have tried to reach out to anyone at CinePlex, and just like the awful Canadian websites, you cannot. It is a redundant circular design meant to make people feel someone is on the other side, but all that is on the other side is a $3 collection machine. What is needed , especially I speak for Vancouver is competition, because your Org sucks!

Me and my friends tried to order gift card with a limited time promotion package online many times. It’s always come with a system error after submit.
I’ve been to Markham VIP location to get a gift card instead. But they said it’s currently out of stock for the promotion package. Only I can do is “back to online system and get it online!”What?!
I filled out feedback form online and complained for all my inconvenience to cineplex. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any improvement till now. So disappointed.

Cineplex website worst part of movie experience.
They charge 1.50 extra to book online, unless you get a scene card. Sign up for a scene card and "invalid number" is the cineplex response. It's impossible to access help for the site. They demand totally up to date browsers, and 2FA for a movie purchase... it's movies, not financial services. If movie theaters die in Canada, Cineplex website will be one of the main reasons.

I enjoy going to a movie once in a while since I was a child. It's usually been one of these locations.
My only thing is I think more seating space would be comfortable.
If this was a review on food then it would be 1 star though.... Rip off, even knowing obviously they gouge price at the movies. $20 for a popcorn and pop is redic considering it costs them maybe 20 cents in reality.
But I always bring my own food since I was a child because I know this. Sad because if a bag of popcorn was only $5 I'd buy it still.
Soo I'll go in with my huge sushi combos, Harvey's, burritos, own popcorn etc 🤷🏻
Online Video Rental HD is in 720p! COME ON!
This review is the their online video rental service. At first, I was really happy that their selection of rental movies is great. I'm happy to pay for a movie if it's available on a platform. We rented the new (2023) Gerard Butler movie Plane for their "HD" version, which was 720p! What the heck?!?! This is a brand new movie, and you didn't give me any option besides "SD" and "HD." No one actually believes that 720p counts as HD in a world of 4K TVs. Please don't be so dishonest.
Time to go back to acquiring movies that are actually the quality they advertise.
