So I purchased their kit to repair some stone chips on my bonnet and receiving the items and after carfully follwing the instructions, I noticed that the colour match is just not accurate even after giving them the details. It's close but the repair stands out from the normal paint even after following their instructions.
I contacted them and they said they had sent the wrong paint. The new one arrived and there is little or no difference.
I had high hopes from Chipex but I am very disapointed in the results.

Really good stuff this is I had some super deep yellow scratches and I knew they wouldn't come up perfectly but honestly I'm surprised at how easy and good quality this stuff is for the sake of £50 it's better than paying over £300 for a full respray would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a cheap solution

Prior to selling one of my cars I noticed due to the boot not being aligned correctly it had been hitting off the plastic bumper protector, resulting in a chunk of paint being taken off down to the bare metal. A bit of a nightmare initially, however I researched chip repair kits and Chipex appeared to be the best, not perfect but good results.

I ordered the top of the range kit, followed the instructions which were clear and applied multiple coats. The result was not perfect but miles better than before and this will now stop rust developing.

I also took the opportunity to go over the odd chip too. Again not perfect but great for the price and would recommend.

Bought a touch up kit. Carefully followed the instructions and as expected no better than a touch up pen. If you want an invisible fix dont believe you can do it yourself with their kits. Paint a good match but other than that the repair kit does not work as described.

I had high hopes for Chipex but I really can't give it 5 stars.
I tried 6 times on three different blemishes to cover the scratches and its made a difference for sure but not to the standard that the company advertise, although I knew I wasn't likely to get an invisible repair.
I found that the good part about Chipex is the blending solution as it flattens the thick paint to surface level unlike normal paint sticks you can buy elsewhere. That's the rub though as try as I might I couldn't get the paint to stay put without partially rubbing out. I tried leaving the paint longer to dry, going really gently with a tiny amount of solution, nothing gave a perfect result.
To be fair this stuff is better than a paint stick as you can level it off with the blending solution but it certainly isn't easy to use and get perfect results.

Disappointed. Not a good colour match even though I provided car registration for model and colour. Didnt live up to reviews that I had read. Read instructions and tried to do as they said. One area now looks more obvious than before due to the mismatch of colour.

I am a professional detailer and have been for almost 6 years now. Chipex really impressed me! It makes touching up stone chips so simple and easy. They looked brilliant and so much less noticeable... even on a mk2 golf from 1990! The paint colour match was perfect. Thank you Chipex! Highly reccomend.

I have a particularly fine eye for detail, but I have to say, for the price it really is a good DIY kit if you're patient with it.
Colour match for my Daytona Grey Audi A3 was perfect, and it's very difficult to make it look any worse.

Only 4 stars because despite this, I do think Chipex's advertising is quite misleading. You'll never achieve a factory finish like the images show.

If you set your expectations right and see it as a DIY kit, then I think you'll be happy.

Had a deep stone chip scratch on my car door. I was quoted £264.00 by Revive. I looked around, found Chipex, ordered it, and the results are 100% match.

Repaired a couple of small scratches. They are much less visible now.

Brilliant product and easy to use.
Best touch up system I've used, much easier then original car brand touch up paints.

Paid £44 for premium size had a little chip on my rear bumper I’ve had to apply over 7 coats now still looks terrible you advertise with videos shows floor less results which is a lie . The colour match is poor aswell . Absolutely disgusting £44 could of just brought a touch up pen for £5

Unfortunately this wasn't a 100% colour match as advertised, used it correctly following the instructions provided but now my Bumper looks worse than it did beforehand. Booked in at a Bodyshop to be painted professionally instead. Contacted Chipex and received a full refund and have disposed of the kit. It's very disappointing as after watching the various videos I fully believed this would work.

First class service and a brilliant product

I ordered the large kit for my JAECOO 7. I was a bit apprehensive about the colour, but I have got to say that the match is 💯 %. Very easy to use kit, and good for the money. Very pleased.

Would recommend. Used for a deep chip on my passenger side door. Can still see it if you look really closely but has covered it well and can’t tell from a distance.

Would recommend - had small chips, and a much deeper chip on the rear wing. Covered well and good match. Patience is key as the deeper chip needed several coats and experimenting with how long to leave paint to dry - obviously can still be seen if you look close, but a huge difference to before
