I used this website when my car was stuck with family over 200 miles from home - I had decided to get the car recovered as it was going to take a long time to find someone local to fix it. I think this website will be a bit luck of the draw for who you get, but I'm lucky to have got a wonderful man from Bradford ("Macka") who was friendly and inexpensive. I got a lot of messages after I put up my request for transportation, so I would perhaps suggest you wait at least a few minutes as each person will quote different amounts. Macka didn't ask for any money until the job was done, but warned that some people on the site will try for deposits or request more money for various reasons like if you wish to travel with them. I'm sure this website isn't all people as brilliant as the person I ended up with, but I'm writing this review to confirm that legitimate people do use it. I paid £350 rather than the £1400 I'd been quoted by a larger local recovery firm.

I only got one quote, someone who wanted money up front, £240.
He'd likely have taken my money and not turned up, this was the feeling I got from him.
The job was worth about £70 which is what another firm charged.
I won't use the site again as I fear it's got scammers lurking to pray on people in a tricky spot

Do not use. This is a scam. Service promised not delivered. Price increased after sending deposit. I am now being threatened and sworn at and having to call the police. This company are just scammers who prey on the vulnerable

I thought my experience today (27/06/2024; grey honda civic) was excellent.
They arrived to my house at the time they said they would, and confirmed my bank transfer payment immediately. The gent who transported my car was also very friendly, and sent pictures confirming that it had arrived to the drop-off destination.

Called at 8pm i was told someone would pick me up before 10pm.
This was again checked.
I called up near 10 for them to say another hour and a half.
I then get picked up at half 12am.
I was then told that I would have to stay in Birmingham if I didn't pay another 100.
So I have been held ransom with me and my van if I didn't do what they wanted.
Do not use this firm at all.
I will be contacting trading standards aswell as the obusman .
Always record everything.

Scam, don't trust.

Had the recovery , paid £100 which I thought was good at the time. He didn’t relieve I wanted to go with the car so I said . He was like there is no need I can just drop it there . I said no and went with him. Prior to him arriving I asked for an invoice and he said yes no problem .

Once he dropped me to my destination he said he would send out the invoice tomorrow or the day after . It’s now the weekend and that was Tuesday . He has left me on read on texts and I think that is terrible.

Flat battery, so used website to get a man with a jump start kit to get my car going quickly. Had doubts after seeing the reviews, but professional breakdown van turned up after about 35 minutes as promised, quickly confirmed the problem, and got my car going within 5 minutes.

The downside - not cheap and not good value for money, but better value than the AA for example!

Nikolay was brilliant.
He provided insurance details, driving licence details, pick up time and drop off time. photos of the car on his truck when picked up and updates on the 5 min delay he had due to traffic.
He collected the car from my 20 year old daughter on the roadside and dropped it with us 100 miles away.
Could not fault him. A lovely friendly, kind gentleman. BIG THANK YOU

Work done but the promised invoice/receipt had never sent out. Avoid.

I requested recovery through this website and immediately got a call from Saif Ali who said that his truck is 40 min away and wanted a full payment of 250. We agreed on 50 deposit and I needed the recovery truck to come before specific time to deliver my car to dealer before their closing time. After 2 hours of messsaging to Saif no truck came and my deposit is still with him.
Scams. Don't use them

Inundated with calls after registering. Quoted 199 then charged me 249. Was told recovery was on the way. It took 2.5 hours to arrive. I'm sure the recovery truck wasn't road legal and I'd be surprised if the driver had a licence. He was also using his phone all the time. Been trying to get a invoice to claim the money back over a week now and nothing. Avoid.

Awful, there’s no other word to describe them. I only got one number so was stuck with nobody else to use, I got this woman who was most probably the most annoying person I’ve ever had to deal with, it works out that she isn’t involved in recovery at all. Quoted me an extortionately price then tried to add another £50 minutes before the recovery turned up, the guy was great, he told me what he charged and it was £120 less than I’d payed,, I wasn’t thinking straight as I was stuck on the A14 and didn’t have a clue where I was, if your stuck get a recovery from where you live,, I got told after 3 hrs wait the m40 & m25 were busy, the guy was in London and never touched either motorway,, avoid at all accounts

Recovery vehicle didn’t show up even after giving all details and speaking on the phone. Drove over hour to hand keys over but recovery vehicle did not show. Waited for 2 hours and despite multiple messages and texts, no reponse. Number has since blocked me so unable to contact. DO NOT USE.

Excellent communication, picked up quickly. Bobby transported me, my car and passengers back home safely and efficiently.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

Agent called Shane didn’t show up despite telling me he was on his way!
I tried to get another one from the same site only to find others to be as bad or even worse. Nothing is cheap about this site except the work ethics of the agents. I strongly advise against hiring any of them .
