after our house was severely damaged by fire, our insurance company gave us a couple of options for the repairs, we choose to go with the company that our insurance company uses, Charter property Repairs, right from the very 1st meeting with their surveyors it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with them, the surveyor done a complete and thorough assessment of the damage, we were then given a start date and a completion date to which both were within a couple of days, in the meantime we received a very detailed scope of works which made us realise the enormity of the work they had to do, we then had a steady stream of very professional craftsmen over the next 5 weeks, electricians, carpenters, plasterers, plumbers, decorators and window and door fitters, all of who were polite and gracious, each night their work areas were left clean and tidy, if there was ever a need to get in contact with their office the staff there were always polite and very helpful, without doubt Charter Property Repairs took all the stress away from us through this ordeal, 100% recommend this company.

The repairs ran to schedule and the finished job was a high standard. Communication was efficient. In all, a good service

During the long months it took for the insurers to approve the scale of works required to remedy the damage caused by a burst water pipe, we were kept informed of matters by CPR.
When the work was eventually commenced, all the different trades were efficiently organised by Lisa, who was always instantly available on the phone to talk to.
All the tradespeople coming to the house where a pleasure to have around and carried out their individual tasks with skill and care.
We can whole heartedly recommend CPR in the (unfortunate) event of any property damage needing to be repaired.

Everything regarding CPR was very well organised.
Timescales were kept to and the work was carried out to a high standard.

Tony was extremely pleasant and organised. He kept me informed throughout and carried out the work professionally. He was very clean and tidy throughout and left my premises in an immaculate state.

Mark & Stuart arrived to do the front door, Mark was here for 3 days, both very polite knowledgeble and helpful, any questions I had they would answer, they cleaned up after themselves very well, made good everything they were supposed to do.
I hope you are proud to have them working for your company.

Couldn’t give 5 because the communication between Charter Property & the insurance company was pretty poor, though mostly from the insurance side of things, & I had to make endless calls to get a result, though when I did speak to Lisa at Charter Property she was very helpful & I think she was as frustrated as me with the lack of information & clarity. Chris , who came & did the repairs was very good. He was methodical & very friendly, his workmanship is excellent & he even cleaned up really good, (first time I haven’t had to clean up after a trades person!) excellent work from him!!👍

CPR are amazing. After a leak in the airing cupboard resulting in the hallway ceiling falling down they completely took the stress out of everything. I needed plasterers, decorators, plumbers, electricians, floor specialists as well as asbestos removal professionals. It took months to dry out. At the beginning I could not imagine my house ever being back to normal but it is. Lea was great at keeping me updated and special thanks to Mark the decorator who was fantastic. Everyone I came into contact with were professional and friendly and made the most stressful situation for me go smoothly. Thank you!

Lea kept everything moving to a perfect time line - fitting in with the need for drying out floor etc. All contractors working on property were hard working and efficient, whilst remaining cheerful and informative. The finish to all work undertaken is to a very high standard. Consideration was given at all times to the fact that a 90 year young person resides at the house.

I’m grateful to my insurance company for appointing Charter property repairs. The standard of workmanship from every single tradesman has been absolutely superb and although the communication in respect of schedule of works was frustrating at times, I would have no hesitation in recommending this truly first class company.

Very well managed and executed repairs after a water leak in bathroom ceiling. From the initial plumber visit to the electrician reconnecting (and replacing) the lights it was all done by courteous and professional people. Wet insulation removed, asbestos checks done, drying area and new ceiling plus complete redecoration. Highly recommended.
