Bought a 5 kw C5 for a 45sq meter space and it’s super warm, supper efficient and simple to install.

We researched what we needed and what we wanted. Charnwood came out tops in everything. Manufactured in UK, British materials, excellent quality. good size and very good price. We contracted them for assistance in planning the hearth, size, fireproofing etc. nothing is too much trouble for them. They really are the best of British and we would recon them to other purchasers.

Recently moved home and we installed a Charnwood C4 stove. We had a similar stove in our previous home which we didn’t think could be bettered, but the little Charnwood has surpassed all expectations. It is so simple to use, always lights first time and it gives out much more heat than it should for the size.
Classique Fires in Carrickfergus were very helpful throughout the process and their fitters went above and beyond.

The customer service is top class and a service ive never experienced before. I was purchasing some door hinges for my fire due to a problem with my fire door. After my purchase I did send them an email to confirm my purchase. That was over a weekend. On the Monday, I received a lovely email from the Manager who kindly sent me the hinges in the post, which arrived the next day. He also sent a member of their Technical team
to come out a and fit the new hinges and. All of this was free of charge. The kindness they both shown me. They were professional, but yet very friendly. There arent enough words. Other than it was Platinum service. Makes it even better that they make the best log burners. I will definitely go direct to them if I need anything again in the future. I have never experienced service like.

I purchased a Charnwood Country 4 Eco Blue just over 3 years ago from Stoves Direct as we had had a great experience quality wise with a Charnwood multi-fuel burner in another property which has had no issues for nearly 40 years.

Knowing very well how to how to light and maintain a wood burner and not letting it go too hot on any occasions, I was very surprised when it came to being swept recently that we could not get the fire brick out due to the back plate warping. It had to be broken to get it out.

I have taken this up with were I purchased the stove who in turn forwarded it to Charnwood to be told that these internal parts warp due to over heating which we have never done. I have a thermometer on it as well.

I can only put if down to it being a bad quality product / parts as they use a metal back plate rather than using fire bricks internally for this area to meet new emission legislation. Not impressed with quality or customer services response at all

The preliminary assessment for suitability and the subsequent installation was straightforward and trouble free. The explanation concerning origin of the log burner gave us a feeling that our product was manufactured to high standards and the warranty gave us a sense of security if problems arise. The Charnwood Country 4 blu log burner has proved easy to light and controls are effective and simple to use.
We are delighted.

The showroom at the burning question in Perth was welcoming, the staff very knowledgable of the choice of wood burners. I would recommend to anyone thinking of buying one. The product arrived in timescale and the wood burner is fantastic. It is easy to maintain and clean and the heat is fabulous.

We bought a Charnwood wood burning stove and a fireplace from Direct Stoves in Manchester. This was our first stove and we used an installer (Lee Jensen) linked to the supplier. The installation was messy but swift. The 5Kw stove looks even better than the example in the showroom and provides considerable heat. Minor glitches involving applying online for the stove guarantee were swiftly overcome by dealing directly with Sharon at Charnwood, who was knowledgeable and fun, who also made obtaining optional extras a swift process.

We recently moved home and "inherited" an old Charnwood wood burner.

I wanted to remove the multi-fuel kit, but did not know which components to remove. Charnwood provided me with detailed step-by-step instructions which made the job very easy.

They also checked the state of the burner by looking at some photos and provided the part number of a component that needed to be replaced. It was very easy to order via their website, and very reasonably priced.

The people at Charnwood were very pleasant and helpful. The company provides top quality, old-fashioned service and expertise, and long-term support for its products.
