Charged EV have taken appropriate remedial steps to address the shortcomings highlighted below and I am satisfied with the outcome.

The scheduled EV charger installation on 25 February experienced multiple service and communication failures. Despite contacting ChargedEV at 9:45am to confirm the installer’s arrival, no update was provided, despite assurances that someone would call or text. A further call at 12:33pm resulted in a tentative arrival time of around 2pm, which did not materialise.
At 3pm, it became clear the installer had not attended. A text from the installer at 3:20pm confirmed that the charger had not been delivered and that ChargedEV had been informed “first thing in the morning” — yet this information was not passed on during earlier calls. This resulted in a full day being wasted, with my husband taking time off work unnecessarily. Following this, several promised call backs did not occur. While earlier alternative appointments were offered, none were reasonable: a same-day installation was suggested with minimal notice, and a later appointment proposed installing a charger that was the wrong colour, despite us having specifically ordered (and paid extra for) a white unit.
Throughout the process, repeated failures to communicate, failure to return calls, and attempts to offer unsuitable solutions caused significant inconvenience. The only compensation requested (<£100) was reimbursement of the additional costs incurred from using public chargers during the 3wk delay (vs home charging) — no claim was made for distress or lost time, despite the significant disruption to both of our working days. Despite escalating my complaint on 23/03, the firm have failed to respond. I have provided multiple opportunities for them to put things right, but there is clearly no desire to do so.

Great communication very professional, much better than my previous ev install

James S kindly contacted me the day before installation and told me what time he would arrive. This allowed me to plan my day. He promptly arrived and we discussed the options to connect the EV charger to my home network. He clearly explained the process and how long the installation would take. Professional and courteous throughout. Thank you!!

Connor was really great and very friendly

Dave was excellent, very friendly and explained everything he was ginna do throughly.

David provided clear, helpful information throughout the EV charger installation and took the time to explain the approach of connecting directly from the meter box, including surge protection. He went the extra mile by running the wiring underground, resulting in a very neat and tidy finish. I’m very happy with the service overall and would highly recommend him.

Andrian was super helpful, thorough, clean and tidy! Walked me through the app, expectations of the EV charger and made some extra recommendations around energy useage and charging times. Very happy!

Matthew the installer was fantastic. Very friendly, really knew his stuff and did a very neat job, listening to my preferences for the installation to minimise disruption and visibility of cables etc.

My install wasn't 100% straight forward due to a long cable run and some issues with access, but the team helped walk me through the pre-work I needed to do, and the installer seemed to have no issues on the day.

James S was very friendly and professional. Explained the process well and did a neat and very good job on the installation. He helped me set up the app to the charger and checked everything was ok before he finished. Highly recommend!

David has been fantastic. He identified the fault with our EV charger and explained what the issue was. He then managed to rectify the problem very quickly. Very impressed with the speed and efficiency. I definitely recommend David.

Excellent service. Couldn’t be better.

The process was easy to follow and the team was very engaging when giving details and booking our installation. Just the wait for the installation was longer then expected and communication with the team once date book was less engaging and despite promising to get back to us, no one ever called with update on date change (if possible or not). But overall the process and install was really good and we are happy with our charger and the service provided by the installer who was very professional and helpful to the end of the process.

Andrian contacted me beforehand to let me know what time he was arriving.
Throughout the installation Andrian was courteous and kept me updated with his progress when necessary.
À thorough explanation and assistance with the App was also given.
Very pleased with the service provided.
