Took 4 days for my order to be processed. Didn’t receive any updates on my order nor a confirmation email but my money has been taken.

Bought my son a bike for Christmas, he rode the bike for two minutes before the rear shock exploded- sent the bike straight back for repair it took over two months to be returned! Not only that but at no point are you able to speak to someone on a phone and the company state it’s not their policy to offer any compensation at all despite the fact they supplied a faulty product and left my son without a bike for over two months. Won’t ever use this company again worst customer service I have ever recieved.

I bought a replacement groups for my mountain bike and within a few weeks the ratchet on the gear shifter broke. This is when I found out you cannot actually speak to anyone in customer services. After 2 failed attempts at a "Chat", I emailed and eventually got a reply asking for details and photos which were sent. Several more emails were exchanged until I was asked to download a warranty form. By now it was about 10 days after my initial contact. The whole process was so slow and unhelpful , I bought a new gear shifter elsewhere. Life is too short to jump through so many hoops for a £20 item

Order placed Saturday. realised wrong bike ordered. Emailed immediately. No response all Sunday. Now told cannot change order and have to return when it gets here. What a JOKE.

I placed an order for next day delivery. Paying the extra fee for the order to come quicker. After logging 2 web tickets on their website asking where my oder was there was no response. I eventually got through to somebody on the live chat who informed me that my order was not even processed yet when it should have been delivered.

After being told it would take 3 days for them to investigate the issue and solve my problem I requested a refund because there would be nobody to receive the package at the given address. Hence I paid for next day delivery.

They processed the refund and BAM... The refund was 83 pounds short of what they originally charged to my account for the order. I ordered a Shimano groupset.

I wanted a plain tyre for my old bike and found looking for a source a confusing experience as technology had obviously moved on from the time my bike was made. Not only was CR's website clear and easy to follow but I found a like for like one at an amazing price, so good I thought it was scam. I ordered 2 on Monday with standard postage and they were delivered Tuesday am. Really 5 star service.

Absolutely ridiculous been waiting since 10th of January then I email them on the 22nd to see where the bike was they come up with an excuse of yeah still waiting for pdi to make sure it’s right , and they have to many orders , AND then to get a message of parcel force for the past 2 days(26th and 27th January) to say it’s out for delivery and never to be showing up , I am not happy with the service that is currently given it’s absolutely shocking , I would recommend staying away from chain reactions they have lost my custom

Dishonest scam website. Tried to complete an order for £58.99. By the time I put in my card details and clicked on "complete transaction", I was returned to my basket and the price had gone up to £71.99. Customer service said this was due to an "IT issue" which "did not reflect the end of the sale" - which conveniently happened during my transaction. Asked me to redo transaction at higher price which I of course refused. An honest retailer would have honoured the price they quoted not try to change the price moments after. I will be changing my card details after this.

Randomly puts up the prices £100/200 so for the same bike they put the medium up £200 now a £1000 wow what a joke and the large £100 the exact same bike I'd struggled to save the money instead of walking for miles to make a living now I have to do the same for another month till next pay day because of this no wonder why they're going down hill they suck

Only ridden my E mythique two or three times since receiving it in October due illness and crap weather. So far I'm loving it, probably more bike than I need but too good to miss at the sake price. Suspension still bedding in but feels really good already. Everything works just fine, looking to putting it through its paces this year.

After having the 2017 model for five years and quite a few miles I decided to just have a look around in September of last year. I found what seemed to be a reasonable price at a different retailer but decided not to go ahead, am I glad I didn't! Just after Christmas I decided to have another look and found this at CRC for a very tempting price and couldn't resist. One PayPal pay in three agreement later I had placed the order with an expected delivery date of 17/01/2024. Not a problem I thought, that will give me time to sort somewhere to store it (I hadn't got around to planning this when I placed the order). Imagine my surprise when I received an email telling me the delivery was scheduled for 5 - 8 January and apologising for missing the scheduled date (which I still thought was the 17/01!). In the end there was an issue and the box arrived on the 10/01. Now the email did say large box delivery but I hadn't anticipated how large large was going to be for an XL bike, it was massive! It took a couple of days before I ventured into the box as life gets in the way of lots of things but I have to say that the box certainly kept the contents very safe. I wheeled the bike out of the box and carefully undid the bubble wrap to inspect the frame which was absolutely perfect, unfortunately I had to re-wrap the bike as it has gone into storage until the better weather arrives, might as well abuse the old reaction for a couple more months than to get this lovely new bike dirty!

I’ve used chain reaction to purchase loads of things over the last couple of years, the service, products and the price are always great, very occasionally I’ve needed to return or exchange but again never been a problem. 100% 👌

I've received my order this morning have gone to install the wheel on the bike and The wheel is not pedaling there is no engagement on the wheel at all got in contact with chainreactioncycles was asked to take it to my Lbs to get it fixed is now going to cost £20 and still no response from anyone at chainreactioncycles very bad experience

i am a dedicated customer of Chain Reaction for the past 15 years. In August 2023, i returned two gilets to CR. Despite using their recommended courier and receiving confirmation from the courier the gilets were returned, they are giving me the run-around on my refund. Its excuse after excuse for months. Always a different person.
Today they they tell me they need confirmation from the courier that the gilets were returned!!
CR's financial woes are well known. Clearly they using customers money to support the business. AVOID THIS WEBSITE.
