Paid for license, dev will not honor

Fake Page/App, Fake People!

I paid for a lifetime license and today when I tried to log in I found out that the lifetime licenses were cancelled.
I contacted support and they tell me that I have to pay again, this is a scam.

Tech has always worked fine before, but I tried to log on today to check things were still working and "no device found" in the web app?
I've no idea how long I've had no protection against a lost phone. You only log on when you can't find your phone so it may have been well over a year!
Very very very poor.

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS, if the company didn't change up on me and want me to upgrade my subscription to a 10 device account when I only have 1 device and I purchased a life time subscription. So now they restricted my account and they are trying to get me go to pay an additional $44 which I will NOT be doing! Even though I love the app it isn't worth them blackmailing me into trying to get more $ out of me.

It was a good so until they went rogue and closed off accounts that previously had a lifetime license, there wasn't much of a message letting us know why they had changed direction. Which was catastrophic for their customers, very poorly handled and he has lost a lot of customers through this and danged their grand and reputation.

this guy is a professional liar! He sold me a lifetime subscription but only after one year and a half, he canceled my account and does not answer emails! Just to let other people know.

I can testify also that this app is a scam, nothing more. I paid for lifetime and now he closed my account without a word. Lifetime=lifetime. A word is a word. Obviously this thief is has no honor.

Revoked Lifetime License Without Warning and Deleted Account.

Purchased lifetime license Sep. 2012. License magically revoked in 2019. Emailed in 2019, no response, emailed again in 2021, no response, emailed again Jan. 2023, no response. I have no access to my account as it appears to have been deleted, again with zero warning. If they want to change business models that fine, but to just revoke paid lifetime access with zero communication and then not respond to emails for 4 years is highly unethical. While this features of the service worked as advertised, I would not trust, nor support a company that offers a service, takes payment for that service then toss customers in the trash because they want to change business models.

Like many people here I Also bought a lifetime subscription and then they canceled it and deleted my account. No response from the developers.stay away from cerberus, total scam

I really don't get why everybody is so upset about Cerberus changing their business model. It is by far the best app for this kind of functionality. I'm really happy to pay for it. Get over it people and appreciate that this thing at least does work as advertised.

I had a lifetime subscription back that i purchased in 2013. They revoked it without any notice. I am not able to use cerberus app now. Shame on the company and app

If you're looking for an antitheft app (or you're afraid to lose your device), this is the best one out there. I've been using it on 3 devices for about 2 or 3 years now.

This is because Cerberus decided to revoke lifetime licenses for a yearly subscription (quite cheap though).
Whether or not this decision is okay, this doesn't make the app any less useful.

This app have pretty much all the features you could want for its usage, especially compared to some known competitors.

also me is a victim of cerberus scam. I had 2 lifetime licenses who suddenly stopped working without warning. My emails asking for a solution stay unanswered. What a criminal app is this.

I bought 2 lifetime licenses in 2013 AND 2015 for multiple devices. Suddenly without warning, I get an email saying my LIFETIME licenses are now expiring and they stopped responding to communication. I and people like me helped these guys get on their feet and this is the thanks we get? This is a company without honour.

Another lifetime customer who had thier service cancelled with No Notice. Absolutely disgusted with the behaviour of this company.

I would've actually bought the service if the company had acted in a decent and responsible manner. To close my account with no notice is just not on.

Genuinely hope the company goes bust.

Lifetime license... expired!

I have the same poor expirence with the lifetime license that has expired as all the others.

Really disappointing, because the app is working great... :-(

I had a free account years ago. These shysters told me that free accounts would be terminated, but I could buy a lifetime license that would NEVER expire or be revoked. I purchased the license since I was assure of this.

GUESS WHAT? They revoked my license and now want to charge me **14 EUROS / MONTH** after they guaranteed me that my lifetime license was valid, well, for my lifetime!!

I attempted to contact them, but they never reply.

This is NOT they kind of company I want for security on my devices. I will NOT pay them another red cent. I strongly suggest that nobody else do so either.

Not, this is my personal experience, but I understand that they have done this to EVERYONE who purchased one of their so called "lifetime licences" as well.

This is very unprofessional, and unethical. I would rate them ZERO stars if I could.

AVOID - AVOID - AVOID!!!

Great app with lots of useful functions but shady team AF.

I never had any issues with the app and its always been working, I never had to use it beacuse neither of my devices has been stolen but I tested it several times.

However..
They revoked free licenses they gave away about 7 years ago. They also promised/sold a one lifetime license if we purchased a new license (as some kind of offer?)
7 days ago i received an email saying that my (6 year old, bought September 2015 for 4.99 EUR) "trial period" is coming to an end which it did yesterday between 3-4PM.

I decided to uninstall that app and I will never use it again.

Scammers... Fell for their lifetime license, paid, they cancelled it, and support is not responding. Stay away.
