I instructed Case Consultant Solutions to assist with serving a Notice to Quit on a rent-to-rent arrangement. Unfortunately, the service I received was extremely poor.
The draft Notice to Quit contained serious errors, including the wrong address and references to residential tenancy routes such as Section 8 and Section 21, despite this being a rent-to-rent arrangement with a company, not a standard AST. This immediately raised concerns about whether the case had been properly understood.
The delays were just as bad. The matter was time-critical, yet progress was so slow that I was at risk of missing the notice deadline altogether. In the end, I had to issue the Notice to Quit myself to protect my position.
Communication has been appalling. I sent multiple emails, requested calls/Webex meetings, made phone calls, and even sent WhatsApp messages. Most of the time, I received no proper response. When I did get a reply, it was vague — essentially saying they were working on it but had not reached my case due to workload.
They appear completely overwhelmed. Reception staff simply pass messages on, but nothing meaningful seems to happen afterwards.
The notice deadline has now expired, and I still have no confidence that this case has been properly progressed.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Case Consultant Solutions to anyone dealing with an urgent or serious property matter. Engaging them has been a complete waste of time and money. 😖
