Gave 1 star as you cant give zero stars. Customer service is as bad as Ive ever dealt with.

No one can answer any questions or provide any information on a cancellation/refunds in regards to a service contract canceled less than 2 years into a 5 year contract.

Supervisor was extremely rude, when I told him I would be leaving a negative review he told me to go ahead and do so. Not sure how this company is in business or doesnt have legal action against them?

This is by far the worst after purchase warranty place I have ever done buisness with I paid 3,000 dollars for my warranty and they are trying their absolute hardest to not fix my car as they possibly can the dealership i took my car to said they have never had to work so hard to get a after purchase car care warranty place to honor what they are supposed to asking for pics of the break then saying the pics are unsatisfactory and now sending a inspector of their own to look over the problem I’m telling whatever you do find another car care warranty place to do buisness with cause this place blows not even honoring my rental reimbursement which is clearly supposed to be covered in the value plus contract I purchased for 3,000 I plan on getting a lawyer when all said and done and suing this place or atleast reporting to better buisness bureau

Paid good money for the top plan they offered on my vehicle. Had an issue smelled like stuff was burning when sitting at idle took it in shop found the timing cover and valve cover leaking and the vacuum pump was leaking onto the exhaust manifold. Told the advisor to run it through CARS and got told that over 100,000 they don't replace any seals or gaskets, they will only cover $120 in labor cost and want the cheapest of the cheap parts to be installed. They are horrible when it comes to the advisors being able to make contact with them to get a claim started or approved. They only respond to good reviews and hide from the truth. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Their worthless, shady, and don't cair about the customers they are supposedly here to help. Wish I had seen the reviews before hand.

Only giving 1 star b/c I can't give less. You can't file a claim yourself but force the repair shop to submit the claims. They pay the shop a small fraction of the actual repair cost. Total waste of money and a complete scam.

steer clear terrible company all lies spent over $ 3900 on level 4 warranty wasted months of time on a transmission failure, ended up losing my transportation company which they were aware of and didnt care beware dealing with an attorney on the matter! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could rate it a negative ZERO, I would! I purchased the Ultimate Value policy (4 years/unlimited miles) - I paid $1800. it ONLY covers up to $100/hr labor (the dealership I was just at charges $190/hr). I was told my engine was shot.
Cars Protection Plus wanted me to spend $2200+ for the teardown of my engine BEFORE they would agree to pay for ANY repairs/replacement. I had a couple other items that needed repair so I thought I would "bundle" them together for the $100 deductible. I still owed $3300 on the loan and it would have cost me over $6000 to fix/repair my 2012 Buick Enclave with only 145k miles. It's a frickin' worthless warranty - that was NEVER used. I wound up eating the $3300 and had to buy another vehicle. The dealership would not even give me more than $400 for the Enclave. SHAME ON CARS PROTECTION PLUS for scamming people out of their hard earned money!!!!! I still had until August 2024 on the warranty and I NEVER got to use it... $1800 down the drain!!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are a joke. They will find any reason they can to deny your claim. They only cover up to $1500 on transmission repairs. They denied my claim stating the vehicle was repaired before the expected date. STAY AWAY find a better warranty company.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. Trash company. Trash employees. They will do EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING to avoid helping you with your issue. They'll have you spend your money instead of honoring their end of the deal. Cancel the policy as soon as you can.

By far the worst protection plan to ever get denied my claim due to bold tires rear end went out in my truck, and they said I was doing burnouts said there was rubber and fender wells. When I lay asphalt for a living, they will find any, and every way they can not to pay a claim. I bought the truck with those bad tires 5700 miles later and I still have those bad tires on the truck. It’s because I was not doing burnouts I could still get 5000 more miles out of those tires.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. First off I struggled to find a mechanic that would even deal with this company everyone I have called said it is the worst one available. (wish I would have known that before the dealership convinced me to get it.) I tried to use my warranty at my mechanic shop. The mechanic was informed he could only get used parts. This is on top of a hundred-dollar deductible. This company is a scam and a joke, the bad part is they will not refund you if you want to cancel, only if you are in the first 30 days of your warranty. I can not even contact the dealership for help because they went out of business. The company employees have no customer service personality and are extremely rude over the phone.

I tried to use my warranty at a reputable mechanic shop. The work that needed to be done to my car was around $3,000.00 this company only wanted to pay half of the things that was wrong with it and also wanted to use cheap parts. They wanted me to pay $100 as a deductible only to cover $75.00 and I pay the rest. This company is a scam and a joke, the bad part about it is they will not refund you if you want to cancel, only if you are in the first 30 days of your warranty. Don't trust the dealership who offers this warranty, do your research. I'm going to pray for all you who works there, because you're going to need it.

My daughter bought this so-called "warranty" with her 1st (used) car. She worked very hard for her car, so she paid a HUGE amount for their "best" warranty.

The car has been nothing but trouble with problem after problem. The first time she had it in for repairs, this company made up all kinds of excuses and covered NOTHING! The second time, they offered only $60 on almost $500 of repairs.

She refused the claim and paid for it all herself so that she could cancel the contract and get a prorated refund. Well, just to add to the dishonest nature of this company, buried deep in the fine print, she found out that they only gave her 30 days to cancel and get her money back. Since it is over 30 days, she is stuck with a worthless, EXPENSIVE warranty that refuses to honor their side of the contract by covering what it SAYS it will cover. All of the car shops so far have told her that this company/warranty SUCKS!

Please do yourself a favor and LISTEN to what the customers are saying. This company makes up excuses and won't keep up their end of the contract. My daughter is out $2000 for absolutely NOTHING in return. She is just a food worker who can't afford all this EXTRA money she is having to fork out for repairs to a lemon that this warranty SHOULD be covering.

It is a scam.
They make you wait forever to process your claim and eventually find a means deny your claim.
Stay away from them!!

What ever you do, DO NOT, waste your money. They will find very excuse not to pay. They will absolutely take your money when you purchase the vehicle. Pay out on a simple thing, but if you have multiple repairs they will pull out the microscope and look for some fine lines. Save yourself the frustration.

Policy states they cover the navigation system, well they wont cover the antenna that controls the navigation system without the antenna there is no navigation system.

worst company ever don't wast your money

I have a warranty plan but won't use it because CARS makes the mechanic jump through too many hoops and then sends garbage parts and under pays. I need my car fixed quickly not 3 weeks from when I took it to the mechanic, I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau.

Simplesmente um porcaria esta garantia, imaginava que este tipo de ladroagem só acontecia no Brasil e pela minha surpresa descobri que acontece aqui também, quero cancelar urgentemente esta garantia que não serve para absolutamente nada.

Simply garbage, this warranty. I thought this kind of scam only happened in Brazil, and to my surprise, I discovered it happens here too. I urgently want to cancel this worthless warranty.

This company appears to be a total scam. Was going to pay $27 on a $1300 repair. I didn’t bother.

I was advised by Leris originally that I would be receiving my refund minus 10% and then she contacted me back two days after signing the cancellation form to advise there is no refund after 30 days. I reviewed the blue packet that has each state listed and their policy and it does not refer to the state of Virginia. I send her an email advising her of that and I have not received a response. Do not buy this warranty!!!

Company is a joke. I had a broken strut and all they wanted to replace was one spring. No common sense. It would have been cheaper to replace the entire strut. They would not even consider that the SUV would not sit correctly and it would throw the alignment off. Person on phone said he was previously a mechanic. And they only pay what they say is the labor fee. Will Not pay actual cost.
