We recently had a fantastic experience with Carpetright New Malden. A big thank you to Saurabh and the team for their excellent service. On our visit to the showroom, Saurabh struck the perfect balance—helpful, patient, and informative, without ever being pushy. He guided us in choosing the right carpet and vinyl to suit our house design and even gave us practical advice on maintenance, including how to keep the carpet clean and looking fresh. Everything was organised smoothly, from selection to delivery and fitting.

Special thanks also to Surjit Singh and his team of fitters, who were absolutely brilliant. They were courteous, efficient, tidy, and a pleasure to have in our home. Communication throughout was excellent, and most importantly, we love our new carpet!

What impressed us most was their flexibility and professionalism. Our installation was initially booked for one date, but due to ongoing kitchen work we weren’t ready. Surjit kindly returned on a later day, fitting the carpet at no extra cost. Later, when we had to temporarily remove part of the carpet in a bedroom for other work, he came back and refitted it—again with a smile and without charging anything extra. His joyful attitude and genuine care made the whole experience stress-free.

We couldn’t be happier with the results and would strongly recommend both the Carpetright New Malden showroom team and Surjit’s fitting team. Truly first-class service from start to finish!

Had an amazing experience at carpetright, all thanks to Usman. From the very beginning, he was polite, professional and knowledgeable on advising us. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and offered great insight. His friendly attitude and attention to detail made the whole process delightful and stress-free.

The customer service I received at this store was absolutely exceptional. The team did an excellent job at helping me find an excellent carpet for my home’s stairs, and I could not be more grateful. Thanks.

Shop asked to measure up due to oversize room (more than 5m thus needing a join), and dormer windows on 2 sides. Requested to place join where least obvious but to do this in the most cost effective way. Chap who came out (initials AT) provided options but did not discuss potential excess (which they admit they should have done) for each case. Fitted really well (otherwise would have been 1 star) and essentially the join is invisible but the amount of excess was much more than I would have expected and when I complained they calculated this at £139 (I truly believe it is more than this). Anyhow they offered a gesture of £75 back, which felt insulting, but to avoid a long drawn out saga I said okay albeit I would not use their branch again. It’s worth noting the same chap came to our house previously when he worked for their now defunct former main competition and he placed some joins in a hall and landing that everyone in the carpet business that has seen them since agrees are not well placed and as a result are very visible (this carpet will be replaced shortly). I would not agree for him to measure anything else for us, ever. I would urge anyone with anything a little unusual shape or size wise to be very wary of AT if he is sent out to measure for you to hopefully ensure you only get the amount of flooring you need. To date they have also not even made the refund of the £75 (offer made over 2 weeks ago) despite me chasing for it to close this matter off. I was going to add the order number but now realise they neglected to send me the invoice.

Me and Mum used the Hermiston gate shop to purchase a carpet for her living room and Lino for a bathroom. All staff onsite were very friendly helpful and even managed to pull the fit forward for my mum. Colin came to fit the flooring very professionally polite and took great care of mums purchase and her property leaving no mess. Very much recommend this team.

Ordered lino for delivery only. Specifically asked for cardboard roll to be removed and lino rerolled on the short length for easy storage and to be brought upstairs.
Salesperson confirmed that this was acceptable. (He explained this to them several times and wrote it on the delivery instructions)
Delivery guys ignored all instructions and dumped lino on front lawn and left when they realised we weren’t happy with what they had/hadn’t done saying it would now be someone else’s problem!

Very bad service , even they don't know how do measurements the people's house I gave them the floor plans I ended up with wrong measure and wrong price. I did visit to New Malden branch and I explained everything with actual flor plans and I ends up with wrong measure and costs extra amount money.

Had a great experience with Usman at Carpetright. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Really appreciated his helpful advice and professional service—would definitely recommend!

I was told by carpetright that their fitter would take bank transfer or cash.

The fitter showed up, asked if his van was okay blocking my neighbours drive, I said probably not because they need to take their kids to school, and he said “well I won’t be long” and left it.

After fitting it, I was told he couldn’t take bank transfer because he “doesn’t have a bank account”. He then told me I’d have to go out and get cash, while I was working from home, and that he’d be back at midday to get it. Also sounded vaguely threatening when he said this.

This fitter, Simon, was awful throughout and put me off ever using Carpetright again.

I am disappointed with the service. Paid a deposit, then I was told that it would cost more dure to their error. Calls were not returned, and extra charges appeared later. I felt misled.

Just had Tom and Danny into fit our new carpets from Tapi Carpets. They did a great and we are very pleased with results all round . Thanks Gents !!
