It's funny that this site gives you a free trial, but the trial doesn't work
Then technical support tells you to upgrade your account to try what this nonsense is
Why offer a free trial if the trial does not work in reality? I do not like lying and this site is a liar
As long as the site is lying from the beginning before purchase, how will it be after purchase? I think this site is one of the worst sites I have ever come across in my life.

They don't support changing setting on…

They don't support changing setting on ios device !
App store is not working on ios device!

And the message says " Access to the AppStore is restricted in BrowserStack Live."

This is ridiculous ! and it's a big scam for taking 400 dollars !! to avoid at all costs

I ended up by simulating using a virtual machine

BAD for freelancers

This application is a mess, especially for individuals with an intermittent, variable month usage requirements - they have no plan to match this. The 'freelancer' plan has a very low monthly allowance (of which you can't see your usage from within the app) and if that's enough for you, you likely won't use it for several months. Then, the one month you do need it, you'll burn through the allowance in next to no time. There support is staggeringly unhelpful and seemingly unable to even answer basic questions about their services.

Get the paid version

I wouldn't be able to develop anything without this.

You have to get the paid plan to make any use of it - but it's definetely worth it.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews…

I'm surprised by the negative reviews about their billing practices and my heart goes out to people who go through frustrating experiences. With that being said, my experience is that this is a great interface for testing how my website looks on different devices. I wouldn't be able to do it without them. My problem has more to do with my site not loading on some of the test results. I'm not sure if it is my site's load speed that is causing the issue. I will optimize my website load time and then come back and edit this review. Other than that I am very pleased with this product.

was billing me for over a year (yes office personnel missed this but found during a bookkeeping review)

the email the sent billing to doesn't exists and they claim it was canceled the reinstated 6 months later.

Total fraud company

Total fraud company. Product doesn't work. Never give any payment info to this company. They will keep charging you for no reason even after cancellation. I wish I never knew this company.

A big Scam.

A big Scam.
I wanted to try it for 20 minutes and I payed 20$ for a really bad experience.

A month later (of course they are charging at the beginning of the month) I've noticed they are still charging my account for another 20$.

There is no button for canceling subscription, no chat, still waiting for support to answer my emails.

Stay away from this kind of scams and especially don't supply them with your credit info because this one also cannot be deleted.

Appalling business strategy (when cancelling plans)

We tried BrowserStack just for about 15 minutes, but our free test-time ran out, so we figured we'd just buy one month of subscription as it seemed OK (spoiler; it was not OK).

The software wasn't really to our liking (which is fair enough - can't please everyone), BUT when trying to cancel your subscription, it's where this company gets into some disgusting strategies to keep you paying.

After trying for a few minutes to figure out how to cancel, we gave up and Googled instead. This lead us to a vague article, simply saying;
"You can cancel your subscription from the Cancel Subscription page" - they just failed to mention, that this page is SUPER long, and the cancel "button" (very small text) was in the very bottom of the page, disguised as a footer link - and worst of all; they didn't call it "cancel", the text says "Discontinue", so when you search on the page for "cancel", nothing is found (even though everywhere else - even in their own guide - they call it "cancel")

When the cancel "button" is finally found, you have to answer not 1, not 2 but 6 MANDATORY questions about your business - if you click the button that says "Dismiss", you don't just dismiss the "Feedback" dialogue, but also it just doesn't cancel your subscription...

Once you're done telling them your life story in their mandatory "feedback" fields, you are asked not 1, not 2, but 3 (!!!) times if you are "Really sure you wish to cancel?".

I find this business strategy beyond appalling.

One of the worst company out there

One of the worst company out there. I've unsubscribed from their payment plan but they don't have an automatic cancellation system. They said their "Account Representative" will contact me within 24 hours but I have got no email even after 3 days. They don't let me cancel and kept charging my card. Absolutely disgusting!
