I borrowed from Brick Borrow, and was incredibly disappointed. There was hardly any sets available. The set I did borrow had parts missing (although I was still able to make the set). I then emailed saying I wanted my money back and to cancel as I was so disappointed and they said no they do not offer refunds (which is surly 101 customer service?). Additionally they didn’t cancel my subscription and so I got charged an additional month. When you click on the subscription section of the website there isn’t a clear and obvious way to cancel the subscription yourself.
I never ever leave reviews but felt compelled with this one because of the blatant ignoring in my email of “ Please can I have a full refund and cancel the subscription.” And while fine, don’t give someone a refund for their disappointing experience of your service… but a decent company would have cancelled the subscription when someone asked and they didn’t and took additional money!
All in all, a really disappointing experience. I was borrowing to test out for a group of us who were interested and the others have been put off when I showed the email exchange and availability on the website (which is different when you log in to when you’re not logged in).
Feels to me like this is a company that is only able to work when things go well and doesn’t know how to handle when things don’t.
Editing for future customers are they replied: I emailed on the 31st of Jan asking for it to be cancelled. They took my additional money in the middle of February so it hadn’t been processed and they just ignored the request.
Since leaving this review they have now refunded me for the additional month they charged me. Still wouldn’t recommend or use them again. Shouldn’t take a negative review online to get good customer service. Great idea, would be a great service if they had good customer service when things go wrong.

I absolutely love Lego but finding space for it is very hard and sets are so expensive, especially as I'm a University student. So when I found Brick Borrow, it honestly shocked me. Their service is the perfect solution as I enjoy the building and I don't need to keep the set forever! I've been using Brick Borrow for over a year now and the team is exceptional, sets arrive quickly and returns are easy making the whole process straightforward. The amount of sets available is so vast, having something for everyone's taste from small to large builds. Customer service is brilliant with any queries answered very quickly whilst being friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn't recommend Brick Borrow enough, it's such a smart idea and so glad I found them!

I think this is a brilliant service. Lego is an extremely addictive thing, and not everyone has the space to keep/display sets. Lego can also get really expensive, I'm on a low income so this is a nice way to be able to experience the building without having to find somewhere to keep the set afterwards and without breaking the bank.
I think the prices are quite reasonable and I like that there are different subscription tier options, and that you can pause any time.
At first I thought the postage was a bit expensive until I realised that covers the delivery and the return fee so it's only really £2.50 each time you post something.
Returning the sets is also really really easy, they send out a returns label in with your Lego set, so you just reuse the packaging it came in and stick the label over your own address and either take it to the post office or organise a Royal Mail collection online.
I've only been a subscriber since the beginning of this year - and I'm currently building my third borrowed set. So far I've had postive experiences with fast shipping - and no major parts missing. It's also been a very quick turn around between them recieving my returned sets and me being allowed to borrow another one.
My latest set did have the brick separator missing, but that doesn't make a difference to me as I have my own one anyway.
I reached out to Brick Borrow to let them know that the brick separator was missing and that one piece was ever so slightly damaged (which is absolutely to be expected when a set is being built and dismantled over and over again by different people! And it also was not damaged to the point that it affects my building) and their replies were very fast (within a few hours - business hours of course) and very friendly!
I'm 100% confident that if I didn't have my own brick separator, they'd have sent one out to me.
Very happy so far!

Incredible value. The Lego was clean and in excellent condition. Superb , fast customer service. I built my first kit, sent it back Monday afternoon. By Thursday the same week I’d been notified that it had been received and checked, and that I could order my next one! Making it very feasible to build several kits within a month. I had a couple of questions which I posed to customer support. Both were answered very quickly. I couldn’t be happier. 😊👍

I found Brickborrow in Jan-26 and am now awaiting my 3rd order with them. For a Lego fan it’s such a great service to be able to borrow the sets for a fraction of the price and it has also given me a steer on the sets I would like to own. Brickborrow offers a real ease of service, by supplying everything you need in the one box to build and enjoy and then repackage and return, to then selecting your next borrows. Highly recommend for any Lego fan and also a great introduction for kids too 👍🏻

Overall I’m really pleased with the experience of Brick Borrow, the set I received was a new set and the instructions and information provided regarding returning was clear and helpful.
It would be great to have an option for quicker delivery and the time from ordering to receiving was a few days but that’s maybe just my own AFOL impatience.
There are quite a few unavailable sets but sure once this great company grows they will have more available.
Can’t wait to order my next set soon

My son and I both love building Lego, but don't really have the space in the house for all the Lego we would like.
That's where a come company like brickborrow comes in handy, for a reasonably priced membership you can build the Lego you like, send it back and choose another as many times as you like, everything is made really easy.
Just build your Lego, dismantle it, put it in bag and box provided put on return label and send it back.

Brick Borrow is the best for my Lego obsessed 10 year old. The most amazing concept for anyone who wants to build Lego.
Great service and amazing sets ❤️
We can’t wait for our next set.

This is such a brilliant idea! As soon as I saw it I knew my little boy would love it. He's able to navigate the website himself to select his next borrows, they arrive quickly - very handy for impatient 6 year olds! The borrows we've had have been brilliant, they stock all the sought after builds, Minecraft etc and it's so quicky and easy to return. A great range of prices to suit budgets and needs, I can see us being members for life.

I saw Brick Borrow through social media, having recently got in to building Lego as an adult and enjoying it I think it’s a great concept to enjoy the build without the financial burden of some of the prices of the sets and without trying to find space in the home to display them all. Customer service has been fantastic, very professional, very responsive. Great variety of sets to choose from- hundreds! - and new sets seem to be added all the time. A very happy member and I recommend.

Absolutely love this!!
The concept is great and so easy to use.
Being able to borrow so many varied sets is great.
For us a family financially buying lots of Lego and finding somewhere to put it is just not possible.
This is the perfect solution.
It’s also greats great family time without any electronics which is a huge plus!
Highly recommend 👍

Account is easy to set up. Website is simple to use. Communication regarding tracking etc is amazing! Instructions on how to return as well as the kit to do it is amazing! I got a new set which was even more incredible. Can’t wait to get another one once I’ve unbuilt my current one.

It takes forever. It takes more than a week for your return to arrive there, them counting it, and you ordering..
They seem to intentionally slow it down...

Excellent company and service - been using for around a year, the concept is great as can do new Lego sets every month at a much cheaper price than buying them and without need to store once built. Has been a great hobby for a family member who at home more now and really straightforward for them to post back too. The customer service is also excellent, really quick responses, very helpful and friendly/personal. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely love Brick Borrow. We have neither the funds or space to keep our own sets so Brick Borrow is perfect for us. My husband and I decided to try it out so we can stop doom scrolling of an evening after work! (The kids don't get a look in...sorry kids!😂)
Such an easy process, just select which kit you want and it gets sent via royal mail, each kit comes with a returns label and now we have a royal mail locker nearby it's even easier to return the kits.
Customer service is brilliant, we had some missing pieces but with an email and the piece numbers the issue was rectified pretty quickly.
I also love that packaging, boxes etc are reused where they can be so even less waste!
