Nice people bought paint today was shocked how much it was for a 2.5 litre tin

What a disaster! I asked my wife to go to the store in cardiff to have some Little Green paint mixed, we previously bought it on line but thought we would support the local outlet when we realised there was one in Cardiff. Having waited for over 20 minutes, she called me to say that there were two salesman who hadn’t stopped talking for all that time! Customer service I accept but be aware of your surroundings. She left after 25 minutes and we will buy on line. Dreadful.

I only buy decorating supplies from the Cardiff Brewers and travel 40 mins because of Dookie. I make sure I speak to him before undertaking any project. I hope the company realise what an asset he is, providing next level customer service. There are lots of places you can buy paint online and in shops, the level of subject knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing it with people is priceless. He has saved me from expensive mistakes, ensure I have the right paint and the right tools for the job. If I ran the centre this would be his only job, I queued to speak to him this time and it was worth the wait, he is the reason I'm a returning customer and will be again. If you visit look out for him, cheerful and brimming with information. Credit where it's due, what a fantastic member of staff!

I liked the price and selection of colours in the paint I bought. The 10% voucher for new DIY account was nice. On my second order I ordered online and selected delivery for the next day. It didn't arrive. I emailed the Help team. I heard nothing. I contacted the Cardiff store to ask where it was. All I was told was that there was a software problem and was then told it would be delivered on a Monday. No apology offered.

We had a good experience getting really good and enthusiastic support on weekdays. However, going in at the weekend is rather depressing, and the weekend staff member I have dealt with twice has been very abrupt and rather difficult to warm to. I won't be shopping there again

The customer service was outstanding, the 2 members of staff who served me were so helpful.I needed advice and help regarding the products I wanted and was given thought out suggestions. I left with 3 cans of paint thinking (sadly) how rare it is nowadays for staff to go the extra mile. The paint was even carried to my car for me. I'll be telling my friends to buy from Brewers
